Our party of 5 came in at 6:30pm on a hot summer Friday night, and our booth was ready for us within 10 minutes. My boyfriend and I shared a pound of shrimp, a pound of crawfish, 2 cobs of corn and a bowl of rice. We chose mild spiciness and the while shabang flavor. They give you a little container or salt and pepper you can dip your food in. The also give you a bunch of lime wedges, which we opted in on squeezing into out salt and pepper. I am very grateful that they provide you gloves and bibs to keep your shirt and hands clean. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. I usually don't like crawfish because the meat to shell ratio is not worth it, but if that fulfills your craving, it's worth a try. The corn was so deliciously sweet. The flavor was scrumptious, but I couldn't help but think of how much the butter was clogging my arteries. So if you are health conscious, I would be careful with the flavor you choose. My sister-in-law gave us some mussels to try, and they were cooked perfectly. Our server was friendly and came by our table to check in on us. He even let us borrow his sharpies so we could participate in the restaurant's tradition of signing their wooden walls and pillars.

Great location and delicious options! We especially enjoy the fried shrimp basket and the broiled shrimp and crab legs served in a bag, flavorful. The restaurant is very clean overall, and the hand-washing stations are a nice touch. Ramiro, the host, was wonderful tonight, just as he has been on previous visits. He greets guests with a warm smile and carries a welcoming light about him that makes you feel at home. Our server, Mathew, was also excellent, he brought everything we requested promptly and correctly. This was our third visit, and definitely not our last. It's usually busy on weekends, but the wait time hasn't been too long. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for a seafood boil in a bag this place don't play. The sauces are amazing and saucy. It can get messy so I definitely recommend using the bib and asking for gloves. I love their soft shell crab and fried oyster appetizers. For the boil I always get the lobster, mussels and snow crab. It's pricey as it is seafood about $70-$100 per person but it also depends on what you get. To me if you're going to get seafood def spurge it's worth it!

Had a great experience here, ordering is pretty standard to most crab/shrimp boils, seasonings include: 1. Cajun 2.lemon pepper 3. Garlic Mix 4. The whole Shabang which is all 3 combined. We went in an hour before closing and were seating within 20minutes on a busy Sunday night! The interior was very clean, great place to take family or friends. Had such a great experience!

I ain't never seen a seafood boil I didn't love and I don't think I ever will, it's just so darn good! Especially with the whole sha-bang sauce! I especially love that the sauces are independent of the spice level, so you really can try everything. And even without ordering it extra juicy, the boils come with so much sauce, like I took my sauce home and I'm gonna use it on other things too! While all the seafood was delicious, it was kind of hard to peel the shrimp. Maybe it was just an off day, but all the shrimp shells kept sticking to the meat, and it was so hard to get off without mangling the shrimp. And if you want crab, I would say maybe go for the more expensive ones. The blue crab really doesn't have much meat, and the legs are too skinny to find much there either. And if you want to get the blue crab, you have to buy two minimum. As for the service, the workers were really nice, but there were some things I didn't like about the processes themselves. I wish they had smaller gloves, because they were so big, the gloves themselves kept getting in my way of eating. Or they would get caught on the shells and rip. And although they put a big piece of paper down over the table, I wish they provided some sort of tray for you to pour your boil into for easier access while still being contained. And also a bucket to put all your shells in. Our server brought a bucket with the food, but then they put the food bag down and left with the bucket. We were just piling all our trash on the side, but it got so messy so fast.

The place was so open and spacious with tons of seating inside and out. We came during a busy hour and we were still seated and served in a timely manor. Our food came out piping hot. We were so hungry I ordered crab legs, mussels with sausage and corn. The voodoo fries were amazing and fried oysters were so good. I highly recommend this place.

I had a chance to talk in depth with one of the owners about the business and he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Ordering is pretty simple: you order at the counter, they give you a number and then they bring the food out to your table For food, I ordered the fried fish, fries and popcorn shrimp and everything was delicious. They give you plenty of food. So much that I had enough left over to take home a to-go plate with me. And let's not forget that they have daiquiri machines so you know I had to treat myself! Let me tell you, that daiquiri it was good and STRONG. lol It definitely added to the experience. I also learned that they host brunch with live music which I thought was really cool addition to their services. Overall I truly enjoyed my time at Saltt. The food was great, the atmosphere was welcoming and the having a chance to meet and speak with the owner made my time there that much better. I'll definitely be back. Make sure you check them out!

Ok so yes I gave it a 3/5 but here's why. It leaned a little one note.. the shrimp fried rice was just okay. the jalapeño ranch wasn't giving either Jalapeño or ranch, it leaned more like a tartar sauce. It also came with a side of sauce that I wouldn't call cocktail sauce but had spice in it and I wasn't sure what to use it with. Now THAT was great! Also the fry on both the chicken and the shrimp were good. Parking is ample - you just might get some characters in the lot. They'll leave you alone

Walking in, I was flooded with memories of older times, where I would saddle up to the bar with a mate and start into so Oysters/beer and laughs. Not much has changed, which I found comforting. We were graciously welcomed and lead over to our table. My team was there and we all ordered some drinks. It as lunch, so no beers for me today. As I almost forgot how full and simple the menu was. All sorts of stuff I forgot, including the alligator bites, which a colleague purchased, so others could try. Small knock on this, they weren't as punchy as I recall, perhaps a tad overcooked, but nonetheless, entertaining. I ordered a sweet tea.. haven't have that in a leap year or more. It was perfect! There was so much damage I wanted to do to the menu, but in the end, I settled for the Crispy Salmon and Jumbo Crab. There was no sparing the butter on this dish. Salmon, I mean I cook a great deal of Salmon, was an absolute gem. Crispy and not overcooked and the Jumbo Crab was a nice addition. It did come with a different broccolini, which was a little undercooked, but I'm really being picky here. I ate it all and left butter on the plate. A complete no-no. The ambiance was like it always has been. Busy, colourful and well appointed. Our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu and another colleagues allergy. They checked a couple times to make sure there wouldn't be any mistakes in the kitchen. That was appreciated. I found myself wishing they were closer to my next of the woods, W71/Old Bee Caves road, since it would be another place to frequent again.

The restaurant has lots of seating and it has a very chill vibe. There are plenty of TVs to watch sports games and there is a bar as well. Calamari: The calamari was very crispy and a good portion. Shell Shocker: This boil was really good! The portion is good and the prices are standard. I got the Hook & Reel special blend and it was extremely flavorful and yummy. Had not been to this restaurant in a good while, and was a last minute decision. Good choice. The whipped feta is always a treat -- light and creamy with a solid feta taste, but not overpowering, served with a few orange slices and thinly sliced almonds, and pita. Special dish! Beet salad excellent, but the Fresno peppers had way too much heat, so pushed them to side. My wife had the Moroccan curry, which had a very spot on Moroccan flavor (been there 3x), and was a large, filling portion so brought home leftovers. I had the grilled pork chop which was large, perfectly grill with a tasty bourbon-based glaze, served with a large roasted garlic clove. Wonderful dish.
