First time here. Came with a friend. It's a cute place. The exterior is painted white brick with a floral mural on the south side. There is a rooftop patio that gets you off street level, and on a nice day you can enjoy the sun and fresh air (unless they are cooking something in the oven, and you get the amazing smells that are coming out of the vents). Inside there are several small tables or a counter with seats that face out the front window. The inside design is bright and friendly. Was excited to see all the amazing looking pastries, cookies, and rolls in the case. So with all this goodness in mind, I was a little taken aback by the greeting I got from the male cashier/barista. He appeared grumpy and curt. One of the things I asked for (and I always do) is extra foam with my London Fog Tea Latte. He just flat out said it couldn't be done (because they use a concentrate and not tea bags), but I know that's not the case and have had that before. Now, if you are reading this, you might be thinking, "get over it." However, it was my first time here, and the exchange between us was very strained. After ordering my London Fog, with an amazing looking Apricot Almond Scone, we grabbed a small table. After a little wait, they brought my beverage, and it was very good, and it had extra foam! Nice job! However, I had asked to have my scone warmed up, and it never came. I could actually see it sitting on the kitchen counter, and I asked someone if they could bring it out, which they apologized for. The scone was as amazing as it looked -- warm, nice texture, with almonds and icing on top. There is a lot to like about this place. Great atmosphere, with excellent products. However, the service that I got on this particular (first) visit was not great. I would stop again to see if it was any better the next time. This could easily go from a 4 to 5 star review :) P.S. Everyone can have a bad day. However, when I checked out some other reviews, I noticed a few others that mentioned the service, and I wonder if this is something that needs to be attended to?

Cute little place, plenty of street parking. Latte was meh - I could feel what they were going for but it was really watery with not much taste.

Small, quaint little shop. Bread is outstanding. So is the coffee - and their breakfast items. First time that I came here I had a cheese and herb biscuit that I still dream about and always hope they offer every time I'm here... but anything I get is so tasty and enjoyable. Friendly staff- love supporting the small businesses.

I went in for an item I saw on FB but hadn't realized it was an old post. But they had another delicious special. Cute little spot. Staff was super friendly.

What a cute little spot. The inside is bright and inviting and the baristas were so nice! They got our order right away and made us some delicious coffee drinks. I had the cookie latte and would highly recommend. We also ordered a cinnamon roll (gf) and breakfast sandwich and fig toast. All of these were good as well. The cinnamon roll frosting was the best part!

So many delicious options we couldn't choose! Shared 3 drinks: supper club spritz w/ champagne, raspberry cold brew and white chocolate strawberry latte. The WCSL was hands down amazing, great strawberry flavor. The spritz is like a bubbly old fashioned also delish! Potato cheddar and herb biscuit (gf) and hot honey scone were both warmed and soooo good. Always so hard to believe just how good the gluten free items are here! Quaint well decorated place w a great rooftop patio and always friendly service!

Finally made in for breakfast and coffee. Amazing space with a very nice rooftop dinning area. I had the Autumn Ricotta Toast and it was so amazing with lots of flavor and fresh ingredients. It was a perfect warm Fall morning and we were able to sit on the rooftop patio to enjoy our food and coffee.

A little hidden gem in West Allis! Full cafe drink menu, sandwiches, and bakery case. I wanted to try everything! The couple working was very welcoming and checked in with us during our visit. I love the merch section also. Fun, hip spot in West Allis!

This is a great family run spot in West Allis area that has a ton of delicious pastries and food to try! The staff were super kind and despite there being a decent number of people in the small store, the line moved fast and service was quick! I got a bagel sandwich(not pictured) with avocado, Cookie butter brioche sweet bun, and the maple bacon scone, along with an iced latte. They were all great and super tasty. We especially loved the icing on the sweet bun. Highly recommend to this with a sweet tooth!

Love this cute and cozy cafe! It's a great spot in our West Allis neighborhood. Everyone who works there is polite and helpful! This place seems like it's always busy. Luckily, we live close and can walk in whenever! There is a cute rooftop dining area and several places to sit inside. They have baked goods like cookies, cinnamon rolls, and scones. Certain items are available on certain days. They also have a small breakfast and lunch cafe menu, as well as lots of coffee choices. The egg and cheese bagel sandwich with bacon jam is so tasty! My favorites so far include the bacon Parmesan scone and the fresh loaves of bread (sourdough is amazing). I'm not a fan of the cinnamon rolls, but that's just me! There's always a line right when they open on the days they have them. A lot of the baked goods are gluten free and vegan friendly. Options for everyone! It's nice to have a go-to spot like this in town.

Lovely coffee shop and bakery in West Allis! We stopped in for some cold brews and tea and had the amazing avocado toast with whipped goat cheese. So good! We took a loaf of sourdough home - excellent. The rooftop was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our breakfast. Everyone was friendly and the gentleman making the drinks was seriously hustling on a busy Saturday morning - very impressive. Can't wait to come back!

What a charming little spot in West Allis! Came here for the first time recently on a Saturday morning. It's a small space but we were able to get a table. Looks like they may have rooftop seating for warmer months, so excited to come back and enjoy that on a sunny morning. I ordered one of their specialty lattes made with almond milk, which was solid. I also ordered the egg and cheese breakfast bagel on an asiago bagel which was also solid. I noticed and was intrigued by the ricotta toast and excited to try that next time. The service was lovely and the prices are reasonable. Get to it!

I frequently like to ask what are some of the most popular items people buy when I go to a new place and aren't familiar with the offerings. There were a number of things on the menu - a variety of hot dogs, boba teas, and tornado potatoes. When I was there, several customers were enjoying a large bowl of shaved ice with toppings - that seemed to be popular. There are a few seats to hang around while snacking/eating. There is a large public parking lot just behind the shop up the hill, a conveniently located spot. I picked up a 3-pack of Mochiring doughuts, with the following flavors: mango; churro; brown sugar. The doughnuts were placed in a rectangular box which made it easy to carry home. Because it was hot, I ordered a fruit boba tea- mango with green tea and with mango-flavored popping boba. It was my first time to have the popping boba. The green tea plus the mango, which was recommend by the cashier/front counter attendant was really good. After trying the popping boba, it was fine, but I personally prefer the regular boba (I think it is a personal preference). I'd definitely get the green tea and mango combo again. The doughnuts were light and airy, and I like the fact they are small, sliightly smaller than bite-sized rounds. I'll come back another time to try the famous hot dogs - and I'd come again for the doughnuts, too. I recommend stopping by if you want to try something new.
