We've been eyeing this place for a while now and decided it was time to give it a try. It's not very fancy and slick-looking like other major chains, but it looks clean, and it always seems like there's a small line. It was late afternoon, so we went for a couple of smash burgers and fries. There was a line forming, so it was a little confusing where to pick up the food, but we figured it out. They'll just call our what you ordered and walk away, so stay close so I know which bag is yours. Everything is made after you order, so they aren't super-fast. The smash burger really was smashed, even the bun, but it tasted OK. I love the fries! Partially because I like what I can scrunchy fries. This is the only place in the food court if you want a burger, and it serves its purpose well. I'm rarely at the mall early enough for breakfast, but their menu looks good for a quick service place.

The cheeseburgers here are great! Prepare for a bit of a wait as they're made fresh. Super flavorful, smashed, quality beef, melty cheese, lettuce and sauce all mix together to form a perfect bite. The fries are bomb too, the tater tots were mid. It's in the brea mall food court, so be prepared for a mall ambiance.

Michelle took our order, we were hungry before going Christmas shopping never been to this place before. After we ordered Bagel and cream cheese for baby girl and I ordered the Loaded tater tots the line got long and busy. Our order took a while but Michelle was so sweet and helpful in choosing what to order. When I got it I was shocked how much they gave me it was filling, little spicy, had a lot of flavors. The bacon and onions were deliciously cooked and the egg was perfectly runny. I definitely recommend this mall breakfast place absolutely delicious and super friendly service. Thank you for our delicious breakfast and quick and friendly service. Definitely will be back here again. Have a beautiful day, be kind to everyone :) Aloha

Save your money or go to Five Guys, this burger shouldn't be close to 15 dollars.

Initially, this place looked really good to me. The thought about having smash burgers and breakfast burritos, you can't beat that. However, I was disappointed with how an bacon avocado burger by itself costs nearly 15 dollars, and they don't even give you a double patty. It is quite disappointing and a complete rip off. The taste of the burger wasn't any better than what you can get at Five Guys. It's probably the first and last time I order a burger from here. The burger wasn't really anything special. It was just nice how thr avacados were placed inside it. Service was ok, but they don't even serve water cups. I was wondering why the place was empty compared to other places; but it seems clear why.

Burrito was really good and stuffed. Ordered this veggie with meats burrito and a Machaca burrito. Both had really great flavor and not oily. I do have to say that I agree with one of the reviews here, the salsa's are really not that great, the red salsa tasted too much like tomato and the green salsa has a nice spice to it but no flavor. This place is a good option if you are looking for a breakfast burrito

We eat out every day for lunch and have been craving a good mom & pop style burger with shredded lettuce and dressing. Last week we went to a place that was supposed to be the best in Brea. It was busy, the burger was big, but the patty lacked flavor and it was extremely dry (we had to use ketchup with every bite). This week, my business partner mentioned he had great smash burgers at the mall. Generally mall food is expensive and lackluster, but The Breakfast Factory was everything you would want. The price was extremely reasonable for the mall and they have Coke products. The fries were 10/10 if you like crispy and well seasoned and a huge portion. The burger was perfect and juicy with the perfect amount of spread, shredded lettuce, pickles and onions, and the patty was flavorful and not extremely thin. With all the burger options out there, this was a very good burger. Will be back again next time I want a good burger.

After doing some holiday shopping at the mall, we stopped by the food court and discovered The Breakfast Factory which I didn't recognize from before. The all day breakfast burrito's called out to me! Cheeseburger ($6.99): Smashed patty accompanied with cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, chopped grilled onions, and sauce. I would have preferred whole lettuce as the shredded got a little messy but the overall flavors of the burger was quite good - tasted similar to In-N-Out. Best eaten right away as we did takeout and parts of the bun were soggy. Sausage Breakfast Burrito ($10.99): Decently sized burrito filled with sliced sausages, tater tots, cheese, and eggs rolled up in a tortilla. Was definitely glad the tater tots didn't overpower the burrito as there was a good amount of eggs included. Comes with red or green salsa - both had a nice kick. Good bang for your buck, especially for the food court.

The Breakfast Factory, a recent addition to Brea Mall, intrigued me with its menu featuring smash burgers. I ordered the cheeseburger combo and made a request to remove the tomatoes. They were still included, and I ended up having to remove them on my own. the fries were okay and seemed right from the freezer. Nevertheless, the burger itself proved to be good, complemented by a flavorful sauce. At $14, the combo's price feels excessive, prompting me to consider ordering just the burger next time or opting to the other food court options. Given that it's a food court, the level of activity can vary depending on the day of the week. However, there are usually plenty of seating spots available to accommodate diners.

Located inside a mall, is was super easy to find and what they serve is amazing. The loaded tots was literally my favorite breakfast food just mixed up. Since the loaded tots were enough to get me full I didn't get to try their other options such as the smash burger and breakfast burritos. I came out here to pick things up for work so not out here often but if I come back again for work, definitely will be back to try other delicious foods! Staff were really chill and seemed happy to serve.

We came in on a warm and beautiful day, so we opted to stay outside in their patio area. Macallans Public House is located in Downtown Brea. They offer a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and their food menu offers several options for various palettes. Our order consisted of - Bruschetta - Pear and Prosciutto Flatbread - Bacon and Brie Burger Everything was tasty. The bruschetta had amazing flavor and the Pear and Prosciutto flatbread was unique in all of the best ways. To be honest, the Bacon and Brie burger was also really good. I love Brie, so putting it on a burger was heavenly. The only thing that left a bad impression was my napkin; it smelled of the stench of wet dog. The whole napkin and every inch of it. I noticed immediately wiping my mouth with it! I thought I may be crazy, but my husband gave it a sniff all around and agreed. It smelled awful and made me question the cleanliness of the spot. Macallans Public House would definitely be a revisit for my husband so I would likely revisit with him if he really wanted to stop by in the future.

Tonight, we were continuing my granddaughter's weeklong celebration of her 11th birthday--and apparently, the third time really is the charm! Our previous two visits fell all the way short in the service department, so I arrived hoping for the best but emotionally prepared for more of the same. Thankfully, Sandra completely changed that experience for us. She was friendly, attentive, patient, and genuinely made us feel cared for throughout the entire meal. Watching my notoriously picky granddaughter try several new things made the night even more special--and honestly, that alone deserves its own five-star review. My kiddo and I are already mourning the loss of the Campfire Cookies from the menu, but the Banana Pudding and S'mores Brownie helped soften the blow. Both desserts were a hit, although the Banana Pudding officially took home the "Favorite of the Night" award. That bowl never stood a chance! Our booth was clean. The food was delicious, my granddaughter had a wonderful time, and Sandra's customer service was truly the cherry on top. After three visits, Lazy Dog finally got it right--and Sandra is the reason this birthday celebration earned five stars. Give that woman her flowers...or at least the best section and a raise!

They were too chunky and I felt some bits needed to be cooked a little longer. - Brussels Sprouts: This is THEE side to order. The bacon steak is an add on for $10. Pricey, but necessary.
