    Breakfast Enchiladas
    Jeff David G.

Not too many breakfast places in the area with a Mexican flair so if you're into that, check this place out! They offer a huge menu, so there is plenty to try regardless of what you're feeling. We were seated quickly, but it took a long time for the food to come out despite it being fairly empty. The staff was nice and got all of the orders correct. The ambiance was a highlight - very homey. Each of the breakfast options we ordered was mediocre. They were reasonably priced, so definitely nothing to complain about, but don't expect the most authentic or flavorful Mexican breakfast. The non-Mexican biscuit sandwich was the best meal on the table. I got the breakfast enchiladas. They were a little bit confusing to eat with a serving comprised of just two enchiladas on a giant plate of watery sauce, but they tasted good and the eggs were well cooked. Chilaquiles were decent and had quite the kick.

There were cockroaches on the floor, and I even found a bug in my drink. The food honestly wasn't good, and seeing a cockroach while I was in the middle of eating completely ruined my appetite. The place did not seem clean, and it was a very disappointing experience.

We went for Saturday morning breakfast and were seated in the nearly empty event space next door, rather than the nearly empty main restaurant dining area. The room was empty except for one table and we were seated directly next to them . The menu does not match the menu posted on the website (not just price-wise, but also for food offerings). Our server had a bit of a language barrier taking our order. The food didn't take very long to come out thankfully. The cheesy egg skillet I ordered with green chili pork added was great until I got to the bottom and it tasted like a salt bomb went off. We were also served water from a carafe and tiny 9 oz plastic cups with no refill on the carafe so no respite from the salt bomb.

We very much enjoyed coming to The Breakfast Spot this morning. It was our first time coming & the server was so sweet, it was clean, the patio is a nice feature. The wing wall is fun for a photo opp. We had the quesabirria tacos, kids pancake meal and it was an amazing portion size, Buddies Combo with French toast, Big Buddy Combo with their pumpkin pancake. We will definitely be back.

Some of the best food I've eaten out in a while! The service by JoJo was fantastic! She was friendly & helpful with recommendations. She even brought out a BIG bowl of ice water for my friend's doggos The Pork Verde Chile was SO delicious! I even ordered a bowl to take home for another meal. My friend was thrilled with all the GF options and loved her Banana Crunch Pancakes (GF)!! My husband's Oatmeal bowl with fresh fruit & nuts was plated beautifully. Everything that should've been hot was hot & cold was cold. All around just a perfect breakfast on a dog friendly patio, on a perfect sunny day. We will definitely be back as it's refreshing to dine at places that care that you visit!

This place is great, was able to get in on a Sunday at 10am right away. The coffee was good and non-dairy creamer options were available. The meals were well priced and the ham steak was amazing. Coffee for two was I believe $7 which is a little more than usual, but it was really good. Our whole total was about $30.

I stopped in this semi-hidden treasure to celebrate a Special Birthday breakfast & I'm glad I did. I loved it! The food was good, fresh & served piping hot. I don't always get this...lukewarm is sometimes my experience so I was Uber happy about it. The restaurant was not crowded & there was adequate room for social distancing which is still very much a concern of mine (Covid remains present & is STILL affecting people everywhere). The waitress was pleasant & attentive as well as the cook who surprised us by coming out and over to greet us & make sure everything was on point (this doesn't happen often, besides in times like these, what cook/chef really has/takes time to greet customers?) Pretty impressive! This dining experience was one that I enjoyed & look forward to returning to soon. The Breakfast Spot hit the spot in a big way!

The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. The Chilaquiles are delicious. For a small up charge, I like to sub Chorizo.

First time here and loved!…read more Here's what I ordered: Food: Salsa Verde Pork and Eggs- I cleaned my plate, no shame. The cilantro was super fresh, the pork was flavorful, and the potatoes tied it all together perfectly. Portion size was just right and the price felt fair for what you get. Coffee: Did the job, nothing fancy, but no complaints! Service: Fast and friendly, this place is cute and clean! Met up with friends for a brunch/lunch and this place was hoppin', service was still quick. This is a great mid work day sit-down lunch spot!

On this last visit I got the West Coast Omelet (bacon, onions, tomatoes, and cheese topped with a couple of avocado slices). It comes with a side of rosemary potatoes and an English muffin. I swapped the muffin for a biscuit. I had forgotten their biscuits are more similar to a cross between cornbread and cake. I'd prefer just a regular biscuit even though their style of biscuit is interesting. The omelet and biscuit was large. The rosemary potatoes are delicious and I'd have loved to have a bit more of them. I really enjoyed the omelet as well! I had to take about half of the omelet and biscuit to go. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I think there dishes tend to be a bit more sweet and while I love sweet, if I'm eating savory, I'm picky about the sweetness. I think that is a personal preference and I'm sure some people love it. My server was Kat (Katerina) and she was great. Very patient and helpful. She happened to be my server both times I've been there! The restaurant is very clean with a comfortable, welcoming environment. It's always nice to see their messages of kindness. We could use a lot more of that these days! Cruelty seems to be in fashion now. It's refreshing to go somewhere promoting kindness! I'd go back just for that bit the service is outstanding and the food is really good!

The yolk should run and these didn't. Not the end of the world, but when you cooks eggs all day it would have been nice to have them not overcooked. It tasted ok. The corned beef was good and I would get that again, but not on a benny. The hollandaise was ok but a bit bland. I was expecting some lemon flavor and that tangy kick but it was super mild. It was fine just not to my liking. My wife got a breakfast quesadilla and it was stuffed full and was better than mine. I had a bite and it was pretty flavorful but we did have to pay extra for sour cream which was weird, but whatevs. The place has a lot of signs inside. Not sure what i make of it but there were enough of them that we both noticed. Our server was good but a bit quirky. For instance, she sat us and as we were sitting down she asked if we knew what we wanted. Not rude or anything like that we just thought, hmmm that was interesting. We told no we needed to look at the menu and it was all fine. I just think she had a quirky personality, nothing off putting. We kind of laughed about it and went on. More of a story than anything else that we talk about and get a kick out of. Overall the place was ok. We would come back if we were close around that area and hungry but we probably wouldn't drive across town to eat there.

My husband and I had lunch here today, and it was absolutely DELIGHTFUL!…read moreI am very impressed with how WELL the staff work together. They absolutely have the processes of this little restaurant honed to perfection, and even during a busy lunch time kept things humming so that there was minimal wait time (to order, for the food to be brought out, and to pay for our meal). Many, MANY thanks to Robert, who seated us, took our order, brought our food out, and settled our bill. He was friendly, efficient, and so welcoming. It was a joy to watch him work; he made sure to greet each and every customer coming in the door, and was consistently so upbeat and positive. And many, MANY thanks to Tony at the grill! Our food was FANTASTIC!! I have high standards for Mediterranean food, and the falafel wrap was totally delicious! The falafel itself was perfectly cooked, with a crispy outer layer, and the other ingredients in the wrap were chosen for a perfect melding of flavors. I had the side salad, with homemade Thai peanut dressing, and it was equally tasty. My husband had the patty melt, which came on homemade bread (!) and was, per his report, perfectly done. His side was tater tots, and we shared them. They were crisp and light without being greasy, and addictively yummy! The restaurant is in a strip center; it's not very big, but the tables are well placed so that no one feels cramped. The open reception area and kitchen/grill make it easy for the staff to respond to what's happening in the dining room (e.g., new folks arriving). It was a truly memorable meal, and we'll definitely be back! Again, MANY thanks to Robert and Tony for such a great lunch. We appreciate you!

The burrito was also really good, packed full. Chose chorizo as the meat and it was very tasty. Also tried the lemon ricotta pancakes which were the perfect amount of sweet and zest. They're regular pancakes topped with a raspberry sauce and lemon zest. I would definitely come back but aim for an outdoor seat.
