Here I had a mixed experience . For starters I ordered steak and eggs and then we sat for about 10-15 minutes. Our waitress comes back and says I'm sorry but we don't have any steak for the steak and eggs. Okay, she brings me a menu I order the Crack of Dawn (home fries, sausage, grits, eggs and a waffle). Eggs and sausage delicious, home fries had peppers and onions in it but it all tasted bland, grits I just didn't like personally (texture) and it was grits all down two sides of the bowl it came in , and that waffle was the star of the meal. Fluffy with a little crunch on the outside and just the right amount of powdered sugar to me. At some point we wrap up we ask for the check and one box. I sat in the booth for 15 minutes, she brings me the box no check, I politely ask for the check a second time. Another 20 minutes goes by and she walks past my table and looks at me square in the face and asked me if she had forgot anything. Aggravated I said my check. I think she sensed I was annoyed because she went straight to grab it and checked me out. The seating arrangement isn't bad but the dining area isn't very big either. Music played in the back which was nice during the waits. I would return but I would probably do take out only.

OK, so the spot has been open for a minute in Carrick, which is only like 2 miles from my home and I've been dying to try it. And let me tell you it does not disappoint. We got there early because I always see a line after like 11 AM so we got there a somewhere between 10 and 1030. We gave our name to the hostess and she let us know. It would be like a 20 minute wait you have to wait outside in your car or on the street due to the space restrictions inside which is no big deal. I don't even think we waited a full 20 minutes for our table to be ready. In the interim of waiting, we looked at the menu so we would know sort of what we wanted and when we sat down our server, Tia, I believe that was her name came over with the best energy, my brother and I both like we wanna start our day with her every day because she just was killing it. She offered feedback on menu items. She even suggested that I could get aside of something I was wanting, but I also knew that it would be too much and so I ended up getting the Philly cheesesteak omelette with a side of home fries, and she suggested that I get the side pancake up sold to the strawberry shortcake version which I didn't even know it was possible, but she was like no totally doable. My brother got the meat lovers omelette with a side of fries and a side of corned beef hash. Everything was hot. Everything was delicious. The flavors of everything just killed. And I would go back and scarfed down a whole plate of their strawberry shortcake pancakes, but for the fact that it would be too much food. If you haven't been you need to go this is like a cannot miss breakfast spot. Now I have to go back for lunch because they do wings and waffles (together!) they also offer sandwiches and other items. breakfast was just the tip of the iceberg. 10/10

Stop searching for breakfast!!! Get here now!! Even their "dessert" like breakfast wasn't overly sweet. We ordered the French toast sliders with sausage, French toast flight, Philly cheesesteak omelette, full order banana pudding pancakes and full order of cinnamon swirl pancakes (we're bodybuilders, don't judge) basic coffee was good too. Jasmine did an amazing job! We asked for our sliders and flights to come out first which didn't exactly happen, but she jumped on our order once she realized our stuff didn't come out as planned. Service was amazing and so friendly! It was a perfect breakfast and perfect experience! Thank you breakfast spot!

Hidden gem!!!!! What a treat, waitresses were so helpful and friendly and got us seated right away on a busy Saturday morning. The iced coffee was so sweet but I'm glad i tried it, could not have more than a couple sips lol. The food was HOT and fresh and plentiful! WOW.

Great place to come get brunch. The service was great and the ambiance was cozy. They play music in the background. Everything was delicious. This is a great spot. I enjoyed everything

Had an amazing experience here this morning! Gia was a wonderful waitress and you'll be well taken care of! I had the Crack of Dawn with sausage, hash browns, and the waffle and it was amazing! My wife and her family had steak and eggs, the pancake flight, and the breakfast sandwich on a waffle!

This place is always busy so that is a good sign! We were seated right away though and didn't have to wait. I wanted to get the strawberry shortcake French toast. They were tasty but they definitely added way too much topping to it so it was a bit overwhelming to eat. The iced coffee is okay...they gave me the wrong flavor but I'm not big on complaining much...it was still good just overly sweet. Staff are friendly and food comes out pretty quickly. There were many birthdays the day we were there and I like the song that they used for the guest! Very live! It's still a new place so I see a lot of potential with food being prepared better!

I loved this spot. The service was superb. It's a nice restaurant with a chill vibe. The food was delicious. It came out quickly which I appreciated. Our server Trinity was great. I had the French toast flight (strawberry shortcake, cookie butter and blueberry), scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. I will definitely be back!

I was pooped and got pickled at the 10th Annual Picklesburgh, so my buddy's buddy took us here for a hearty breakfast before my nearly pulse-less body drove us back to where we came from. The Breakfast Spot's yinzer staff greeted us with no hesitation after we made our presence known in the dining area, and the ambience tickled me like what too much pickle juice does to my gag reflex - except pleasantly. I'd move to the Pittsburgh area in a heartbeat just to experience that hospitality again. The Western Omelette and home fries were fantabulous, and the Heinz Ketchup made me forget about the new name for the Stillers' home turf. I plan to be back before I pull a Kris Letang and miss most of my future pickle riding seasons due to a stroke.

This was such a cute spot for a breakfast/brunch date! My friend and I showed up around noon on a Saturday and there was only about a 10-15 min wait. There isn't much waiting room space which is a bit tough, but it's worth it! I highly suggest ordering off of their specials menu! My friend got the french toast sliders, which say bite size but they're a decent size for one person! I went with the breakfast tacos that have french toast as a shell, and I could've ate those all day! It all had a nice balance of sweet and savory, and tasted fresh. We both started out with the cinnamon swirl iced coffee that they were featuring. I was worried it was going to be overly sweet, but it was very refreshing, and the mini cinnamon roll was a nice little appetizer before the main meal! Keep in mind the space is pretty small and it doesn't seem to be air conditioned, but I don't think any of that is a deal breaker. They also have a cute little bar counter that you can eat at. Even if you don't want to eat inside, I suggest you at least order for pickup or delivery!

I absolutely love this place. The building is not very big and it's decorated beautifully. It's cozy, quaint, and cute. The staff is so friendly. The coffee was hot and fresh and so delicious. The food took a bit to come out but it was really good. I got a pancake flight and my only minor complaint was, they could have been warmer. My husband got a meat lovers omelet and it was one of the best he's had. We drove about 40 minutes to try this place, it's was worth it and we will definitely be back.

For once I finally remembered to take a photo instead of diving in face and fork first! The problem with breakfast places offering a variety of toppings usually leaves one with a crucial decision of what to get. Blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes, decisions decisions. Well The Breakfast Spot fixed that, you can get whichever flavors you want when you order the pancake or french toast flight. All of it was very delicious. I thought this place was going to be overhyped but they are the hype! That is REAL banana pudding on my French toast. The sausage patty, that is exactly what I want when I order a sausage patty, it should be SPICED. Also, while I didn't get grits, they sell grits. Barely anyone sells grits for breakfast in Pittsburgh. The music playing was lovely and upbeat but did not drown us out like some places. Also, your phone won't work in there, which is good. We should be eating, enjoying the meal, and if you come with someone(s) conversing with them. The staff, omg I believe her name is Maya. She was so nice and very attentive while also leaving us alone. All of the servers were nice and helping each other. Also when you walk in, you're greeted by the staff with this warmth. Okay so my final thoughts.... Food Staff Service Wait time OH, There is PLENTY of street parking.

There's a nearby public parking lot just up the street which is free on Sundays, and tends to have plenty of space. This restaurant is *small*, and that leads to some gnarly wait times and a packed entrance. You can pretty much expect to wait ~45 minutes to an hour. If you don't want to wait, they do seem to be on a delivery up, because I saw quite a few delivery orders piling up from the kitchen. When you are texted to come in, do make sure you get someone's attention. They can be *super* busy and sometimes the wait staff get focused on what they are doing. Despite them being pretty busy, their cooks work pretty hard and get food out pretty reasonably. All that said, I think the wait and hassle is worth it. There's a lot of diners in Pittsburgh, but tend to serve pretty similar things. Not only is the food just really good and filling, but they also have some unique and interesting menu items. I went for the french toast sliders. Really fun and tasty. Also I am the one that drenched it in syrup. Fortunately I can swim :D

The chicken was flavorful and cooked well. It wasn't spicy at all. Even the breakfast potatoes were crispy and lightly seasoned. And our beverage, two Peach Palmers, was lightly sweetened and refreshing. This cafe is a good place to visit if you're in the area. We stopped by this location of Pamela's and instantly, I felt like I was transported into a retro 50s/60s diner. The multi-colored walls are decorated heavily with old-school board games. SAUSAGE & CHEESE OMELETTE + Lyonnaise potatoes (side) + whole wheat bread (toast) The sausage & cheese (we asked for Swiss instead of American) omelette itself wasn't anything worth raving about as it was pretty typical. However, the Lyonnaise potatoes were phenomenal. It's that in between "hash and mash" texture, and it was seasoned incredibly well. The potatoes were definitely the highlight here, and the omelette was good protein, I guess. Definitely forgot about the whole wheat bread. BLUEBERRY HOTCAKES Soft, crepe-like wrap (a bit thicker than crepe but thiner than pancake) wrapped around blueberries and whipped cream. This was not too sweet and quire savory.
