Gorgonzola chips!! Service was amazing. Great Cobb salad. Brioche burger buns a bit big per my sister and Mum, but my sister and mum both thought their burgers were good. Great casual place

We came in for a quick lunch with our young son. We ordered the fish & chips and calamari. He ordered the penne pasta with Parmesan off the kids' menu. Our waiter was kind, friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious, the service was amazing. We'll be back! And we were pleasantly surprised the kid's meal was free today on Wednesday.

Their pale ale offering. Just the right temp and tasted great. Brewed in-house.

The wife and I drove up to Santa Barbara to pick up some wine at the Riverbench Tasting Room. While she was doing that, I searched around for someplace to eat. I found The Brewhouse, just a mile or two from where we were. They have a nice street-side patio out front, and apparently one on the side of the business, as well. This is a real brewhouse, and a good portion of the place is behind glass windows, showing off their fermenting tanks. You enter to a full bar and scattered high-tops, but there is restaurant seating off to the side. My wife and I took a high-top by the front window. We were greeted by our server right away, and he brought water and a beer that my wife ordered. She enjoyed it. I tried a few sips and it was very clean tasting and refreshingly cold. We ordered our food, a burger for her and a blackened salmon sandwich for me, and both were very good. She rarely finishes a burger, but this one was nothing but crumbs when she was done. The salmon sandwich tasted great and had a nice tartar sauce on it. Her fries were done "perfectly", crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I ordered a Caesar salad as my side, and the lettuce we crisp and it had a good tasting Caesar dressing. We sent a picture of the beer to my son to irritate him, and he read the appetizer menu on the table. He commented back on gorgonzola chips, so we ordered those. The chips are made in-house and were excellent. There was plenty of gorgonzola cheese sprinkled on. A little melt would have been better, but we finished the plate. Talking to the server, we found out this is an independently owned restaurant. We asked, because there are several "The Brewhouse" restaurants up and down the California coast, but all well separated. We prefer to visit independently owned restaurants as opposed to chains. We will definitely go there again next time we're in SB.

Needed a quick bite on my way to Santa Barbara harbor. Server was friendly and very conversational. I decided on the burger and beer combo, despite the smash burger and beer was less expensive during happy hour. The food tasted pretty generic. It wasn't bad but there wasn't anything that made a statement it was a "Brewhouse" burger. The patty seemed a bit small and a bit overcook as I ordered "medium" I chose the hard seltzer as the accompanying beverage. It was a pretty pink color, but it lacked enough taste to tell what fruit the beverage was based from. Service was great, as the server came frequently to check up on me. There is ample seating on both the outside patio and inside. The decor are your standard American pub decorations The challenge is parking. The streets are narrow and most people who aren't regulars don't know that there is a parking lot out back, and even that is a bit of a challenge to get to. The food isn't bad, and I would come back when I have a chance.

The Brewhouse isn't a new restaurant in town, but it is to me since this was my first time here. I've been meaning to come here based on my hairdressers recommendation. We always talk about food when we catch up, and she raved about the food here. What better way to check it out than with my cousins visiting from out of town. The ambience is spacious, and they even have outdoor seating in the back. It just so happened that a band was playing on our visit; which was a Saturday night. We wanted to sit outside to hear the band, but unfortunately there was no seating. I appreciate the staff notifying us of availability later on, but we had already finished our meals and ready to go. As for the food, I ordered the Brewhouse Burger. It was love at first bite! The char grilled taste took me back in time; when we used to have the OG burger joint, better known as "Char West Burger". I really did savor each bite, and I'm glad to know that I can come back here anytime I am craving it. My cousins ordered the tri tip & BLTA sandwich. Their food looked delicious upon serving, and they both enjoyed their meals as well. Although, the salad looked very plain and there was nothing special about it. Just lettuce thrown on a plate. That was a disappointment, but hopefully they can improve on that! Our server was really nice, but I felt he could have checked on us more often. Other than that, our experience was great! I really enjoyed my meal, and the plates being brought out for the customers looked really good. Especially the Beer Batter Fish n Chips! There's so much more to try, and I am looking forward to coming back.

We made our usual pit stop here on the way back down from Monterey Bay to LA. Cathy was very accommodating with our service dogs. She made sure to go out of her way to make us comfortable. The food was great; pulled pork tacos with a side of their in house made BBQ was a hit. The burger and fries were cooked to perfection! I've been there both while the place is jammed packed and this time around within an hour of closing time and the service has always been great.

Really good classic, fresh seafood, Mexican, German, and American food. They have some creative and original items that I've never seen before. We especially loved the corn cakes (they look like a pancake, but have fresh corn and vegetables in them) which is served with a yummy fruit compote. The seafood is super fresh! I loved the batter on the fish tacos which was airy and crunchy - the chipotle sauce that it comes with was perfect! They have a great selection of a full bar, they brew some of their own beers that include a very large selection. There's some great yard games to play outside and they have some games that you can take to your table. The atmosphere is casual and everyone that worked there was so friendly. Our server was really efficient and checked on us frequently. I highly recommend this spot if you want something affordable, a great menu, and great beverages! We will definitely go there again.

    Do still offer bottomless mimosas?

we no longer offer bottomless mimosas but we do have $5 mimosas on the weekends from 11-2

    Do they allow dogs?

As all dining is outside ( they have front and back patio seating) yes, there were dogs.

Do you have the Sunday nfl ticket?

we plan on having the NFL package for this years 2022 season. we also plan on being open for Monday Night Football as soon as possible. If not the first week we will be open the second week for Monday night. Trying to get our staffing figured out so…

    Do they have desserts?

Yes, a few items. They even have an interesting habanero cheesecake. It's not bad, but I don't think I'd order it again.

    What time is brunch over?

The food portion of bottomless brunch ends at 1 but the mimosas end at 2.

What food do they normally offer for the brunch buffet?

I am glad I picked Rincon for an early dinner during our recent anniversary trip in Santa Barbara!…read more A major plus, they sell food here, they have an extensive menu so it's easy to order at the bar, they bring it to your table, no hassle, running around for food from 1000 places! It might not be as trendy as other breweries in the Funk Zone area, but I don't care. Quiet and laid back was the vibe we needed! I love that they are located in an old Spanish looking house. Beautiful outdoor options, charming, quiet, great to enjoy a meal at! I don't care for their indoor area - with TV-s playing game and lacking decor. Service was great, friendly, Sam took care of us, he was nice, kind, attentive! Had their Mac Brown, a darker nice beer, smooth and started our feast with their nachos, we added chicken on which was a great decision since it was marinated and freshly grilled, you could taste the nice flavors right away. Great guacamole in top, a fun dish! We continued with the fried dill pickles (they come with Ranch and Sriracha sauce), very nice, had fried pickles before (in the South) and they were too greasy. Not here, crisp and tasty, lightly breaded. We finished with the onion rings tower, panko crusted, delicious flavor! They have locations in Ventura and Carpinteria! Great food and beer, nice service, very chill and relaxing. Rincon proved me right, gave us the fun, laid back experience we needed! Cheers to that, Mac Brown in hand!

This brewery was on my list of several to try since I was scheduled to work the upcoming Santa Barbara International Film Festival. I loved beer and was always thrilled to visit a brewery new to me. Were their libations a brighter spot on what was a darker day!? PURCHASE Cetaceans Dry Hopped Marzen Lager Beer 5.2% ABV 16floz Draft ($7.75): Rich golden amber color, floral malty aroma, low body, light malty flavor, smooth finish, and light malty aftertaste. My favorite of the ones I tried. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=N2clMCdp3sxjEPMxkFIO1Q&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Caught Inside Imperial DIPA Beer 8.6% ABV 16floz Draft ($8.50): Rich hazy amber color, earthy hoppy aroma, low body, slight bitter hoppy flavor, drying finish, and light hoppy aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rXWQ8wG4UFIFDlZKwH087g&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 4.0 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($8.00): A tower of seven plump La Reina (their own beer) lager-infused panko crusted rings all generally the same size, these were hot, lightly browned, crunchy, and had some tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (not sweet Maui) stayed intact. These were really good, I wasn't a fan of the somewhat watery ranch dipping sauce, and the "mere" seven rings surprisingly filled you up. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=n3NQ7J8Q1Uw6j6G1t3CLGw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Bates Blonde Fish + Chips ($17.00 + $2.00): Bates (their own beer) blonde-battered cod with a choice of housemade potato chips or french fries (I opted for these), I was impressed by the three thick darker brown pieces of fish and a pile of golden crispy crunchy spud sticks. This was a hot plate, and early bites of everything released soft whispers of steam. The cod was meaty, moist, lightly seasoned, and honestly didn't require the provided tarter dipping sauce (I used it for the fries). My only issue was that the fries weren't included, so in actuality this was a "fish plus chips" meal. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=fpuwzGbFwXqCwOdssuTSbw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Coastal American Lager Beer 5.5% ABV 16floz Can 4pk ($11.99): Bright amber color, citrusy lime malty aroma, low body, citrusy lime malty salty flavor, crisp effervescent finish, and light citrusy lime aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=FCS5RuJzpdwz2VstJ8wlbA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw 9th Anniversary Fleurs De Mer Saison Farmhouse Ale Beer 6.1% ABV 16.9floz Bottle ($9.00): Dark amber color, fruity tart yeast aroma, low body, earthy fruity tart yeast flavor, crisp drying finish, and light earthy fruity aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=oUt_RJDUeFzIqfUlwzLMuQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Stickers (Varied; COMP this instance): I loved stickers and enjoyed placing them at other breweries to spread the love! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=-E-QPl_6n-LQGn-Y3zrvoQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE I was warmly greeted by a young man behind the bar where I sat. He gave me a quick rundown on their beers, and once I placed my order, the beer arrived immediately, while the food appeared within minutes. Everything was efficient and straightforward - thank you! PARKING (FREE) Street parking only, I found a spot along the main drag of Santa Barbara St. while there were plenty on other surrounding roads - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located in the "Funk Zone", the interior was an open spacious layout, a ton of places to sit, a multi-sided bar with barstools, and various surfboards hung on the walls. There was also a large exposed outdoor patio. Plenty of natural lighting came in through the large windows, obviously plenty outside, while various electric ceiling lights filled in the rest inside while decorative string lights outside. There were two TVs while Emo music (e.g. Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory, Sum 41) played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=O-v3lFvwpLlljOvdH7CpVw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Rincon Brewery ended my day on a positive note, and I would love to return and try more of their beers. Their food was lovely and appreciated, they had a happy hour (MO-TH), it was a relaxing place, the service was very good, and the beer prices were comparable (beer flights also available). The food menu was varied and not just bar snacks. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $71.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS
