    Ultimate Brick- no ham

Yum! I ordered the ultimate brick sandwich via Uber eats. They followed my special instructions of no ham and no Mayo. The sandwich arrived early, perfectly made, and so delicious. Thank you!!

This coffee shop located in the lobby of the Ed Ball Building in downtown Jacksonville is a great stop for coffee, chai, sweet pastries, breakfast sandwiches and lunch. The coffee is Seattle's Best and always fresh. The espresso drinks rival Dunkin or Starbucks. The food is always tasty and freshly prepared. Of note, this is a clean business. There are restrooms in the shared lobby outside the restaurant as this is within the first floor of a government building. There are perhaps three or four smaller tables inside to sit and eat but business is primarily to go. At peak breakfast and lunch times there will usually be a short line but the line progresses just fine. Give this local coffee shop a try; you won't be disappointed. Be aware, at least in 2021, the hours are 7am-2pm M-F, closed on weekends.

Wow...I just saw a review of 4 years ago with 5 stars; and now it is one star. I feel bad for the great employees but the ownership is awful and the value and quality are bottom of the barrel. Even the napkins are from a bathroom nearby. Hopefully it will be sold soon to an owner that cares.

I have always enjoyed everything from the drinks to the soups to the sandwiches. There is usually a long line, but the employees work hard to keep it moving. My deduction is for the fruit I got today, it was not fresh or edible and I had no time to take it back. I have thirty minutes for lunch. I had some business to do at Vystar. Since the line was gone, I decided to pick up a couple food items & head back to my office. Thanks for having such a great coffee shop! UPDATE ALERT: The Owners contacted me and asked me to come in for a refund on the not so fresh fruit that I bought yesterday. Kudos!

Great place!! Must haves: burger, chicken artichoke florentine soup, quesadilla special, chicken n dumplings and sausage dog!

Went here during lunch with a friend of mine. The ambiance was alright, it wasn't crowded, their coffee was legit and the food is good too. It's a good place to eat lunch or grab to go type of food place. This was my first time coming here but overall it was a good experienced.

Found ourselves in Jacksonville and all the other places didn't look so "inviting". So we decided to try this little bistro and we were really satisfied. The portion wasn't that big but it was really good! I got a sandwich with Turkey, Provolone, Tomato and Lettuce on a ciabatta. If I end up in Jacksonville again, I know where I will go get a delicious meal! Also, the customer service is really nice and the employees are really friendly!

The Brick is a great downtown addition and local addiction for me. I don't drink coffee (shocking, I know), but it's my go to place for hot chocolate, chai lattes and smoothies. If you are a coffee person, they have a full Seattle's Best coffee bar and can make you whatever non fat-full sugar-extra hot-mochachino-with crack syrup you'd like. For breakfast, my top picks are the Glorious Morning muffin and sausage/cheese croissant. There is also an assortment of donuts, scones, breads, fruit, yogurt/granola, drinks, snacks, etc. I've never had lunch there, but they use Boarshead lunch meat and my friends have assured me the sandwiches are good. The owner, Diane, is a nice lady and remembers her regulars. She even baked two dozen cookies to order for me when I needed snacks for a meeting. They convinced me to try a chai latte with pumpkin syrup - it was delicious so I'm now working my way through all the syrup flavors. If you're in the downtown area, stop by The Brick. It's worth it.

Good coffee and the staff can whip up a nice coffee drink if you don't know what you are in the mood for. I like that!

There isn't much in downtown JAX. It's a ghost town. So, this place had to do. It was a nice spot, nothing fancy. Good espresso.

I was there for a Cheeselandia event and I must say they picked a lovely spot. As soon as I walked in I noticed all of the plants scattered throughout the space. And the presence of the plants instantly gave me a peaceful feeling. I took home a piece of cake as well as a piece of spinach quiche. Both were delicious but my favorite was the quiche. The piece was big enough for me to have it two days in a row. Service was friendly and inviting. There was also a huge patio and a parking lot. They host regular events such as trivia night which I learned from reading the flyer on the bathroom wall. And they are open later than a regular coffee house. I suggest stopping in and checking them out!

The chai specifically was made from the generic tazo concentrate served in every chain coffee shop. The ambiance of the store was very nice tho. I loved the plants draped all around & the fact that they were for sale. Lastly, I also wish there was better seating there was one couch but otherwise you're stuck with hard plastic chairs and tables inside. The space is not good for lounging for an extended period of time.

The parking right in front isn't the best but there is ample parking in the shops surrounding the business. The environment was lowkey with several patrons on laptops or catching up with friends. I had no idea what I wanted but definitely wanted to try their drinks and a biscuit. I ended up having them customize an iced caramel latte and ordering a cheddar and cheese biscuit. Everything tasted amazingggg. The biscuit was fresh and I didn't feel heavy after eating it. The latte had the perfect amount of sweetness. Both items complemented each other well and the pricing was very fair. They do sell their own coffee and it seemed like everyone had a cup. I think one of the better things about it is the drive-thru for people who don't want to get out the car. I am confident enough to use the drive-thru now that I have a go-to order. I rate this place a 10/10 and I will definitely be back to try some of the pastries and different coffee flavors.
