    Apple Crisp and Coffee.
    Cindy Z.

I came here for lunch with a private party as we took over the large room in the back. The pre-fix menu started off with some soft bread rolls and calamari followed by a caesar salad and penne alla vodka. It was a bit funny that the pasta came before the salad though --both were good nonetheless. For the main entree, we had a choice of fish, chicken, and steak. I opted for the marinated skirt steak topped with crispy onions. All the protein also came with some potatoes and vegetables to round out the meal. To finish off, we have an apple crisp with whipped cream and coffee. The food is standard, nothing too special. The courses provided a good variety and kept everyone satisfied. While the timing of the food was on point, my side of the table struggled to get as much attention for ordering drinks. We ended up going over to the bar ourselves to order them. Overall, good for large parties and some classic American/Italian food.

Ambience is very nice I really like the full bar. It's a really nice place to hang out. I got a lot of the appetizers on the menu and salads and everything is very very good. Service is very nice very professional. I go here all the time now.

Let's start with the food. Everything we ate was perfectly cooked. My entree was Beef Wellington medium rare. Side of sautéed spinach. Appetizers were baked clams, calamari and tomato with mozzarella cheese. The room was very clean and comfortable. Now for the service, we were a party of 12 and we made reservations for 4 pm. The restaurant called us and asked if we could change to 430 and then 5 pm. They didn't overbook but they were not prepared for what would happen if guests stayed longer than average. This caused wait times to exceed 30 minutes. This was the 5th time in 2 years that we have been to Palmers. I truly enjoy the restaurant, and my family agrees that although we were inconvenienced by the wait that the manager and service staff did the very best that they could and we left full and happy. For this reason I continue to give them a 5 and we will be back.

Outstanding food and service! Nice atmosphere. I had the wedge salad to start with the candied bacon and house made blue cheese dressing. It was the best I ever had anywhere. Highly recommend! I ordered a med rare filet mignon and it was perfectly prepared. It was served with mashed potato and steamed vegetables. I couldn't resist the brownie a la mode. It was warmed and served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Our waiter was friendly, funny and went above and beyond serving out table.

The chicken was so dry inside, we couldn't eat it and thrw out all 8 pieces. The mac and cheese wasn't terrible, but I've certainly had better. It too was dry, and was basically one big piece of mac and cheese. The cole slaw was..... interesting. It was an odd pinkish color (red cabbage?) with really no sauce that I could find. Alibi is currently running a Harry Potter pop up, and if you know anything about me, you will know I am a HUGE fan. The Alibi was decorated beautifully and there were two really cute Photo Ops by "Platform 9 3/4" and the Wand Shop. Come here for the drinks! The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.
