Its always a shame when you sell overpriced product. then refuse to sell any of it, because you want to either sell it all or up charge it even more. Prime brisket packer at costco 3 bucks a pound. Butcher block 5.99 a pound. and they wont cut it to sell you a smaller section. They did say they could trim it for additional costs though. so if your already twice the price i can get it anywhere, unwilling to cut a piece of meat so i could buy 5lbs instead of the whole thing. and want to up charge me whats the benefit of shopping here? ill go give a big chain store my money instead. since a whole brisket there is cheaper than the part you wouldn't even sell me. I usually get good service here and lately I've taken to placing my orders over the phone since the last time I placed an in-store order (no one else in store on a weekday early evening), I had to wait 25+ mins. Today, I tried to place an order and the guy over the phone (same guy who takes my phone order most of the time) seemed resistant to taking my order over the phone today for some reason. Maybe it was the full store of people in the background, he insisted on me coming in to the store to place the order, which doesn't make sense. I live 20 mins away from butcher block, but if your business takes orders over the phone, why the resistance today? Why not just take my order so that there are less people in the store at a given time? There is the Coronavirus craze going too, it seems that if the store cares about customer safety, there would be more of an emphasis on placing phone orders and being nicer, instead of sounding hassled. I have given this place good business for the two years I've lived in this area but I'm pretty sure I'll just be going to Whole Foods from now on or the other butcher (forgot the name) that is a further drive. read more

Great asset to our town. I cannot find a good premade meatball and was hoping to find it here. They had no premade ones out BUT the owner said he could make them. Good to know for the future. We got chop meat, hot and mild sausage. We cooked everything up and all was very good. I love FRESH premade foods and I saw they had marinated filet mignon skewers, jalapeños wrapped in bacon to name some. Before this store opened I ordered a pork roast at their Vegas location and it was excellent so I look forward to buying my roasts at this location. The pork chops looked very good and will return try them too. We need to support this store so they stay in Henderson. read more

We love this place! We buy nearly all of our meat from them. The meat is high quality and fresh. You can tell the difference between eating meat from this butcher compared to the grocery store. They have an awesome selection of steaks, and also make a variety of items (seasoned burgers, marinated chicken, etc.). Also, although we haven't tried any yet, they offer a selection of unique meats (boar, camel, etc.). In terms of price, some of their meats are a bit more expensive than the grocery store, but most items are similarly priced. Highly recommend this place! read more

Stopped in yesterday. Super nice people and great selection of meat! I got thinly sliced philly steak for cheese steak sandwiches, store made Italian sausage (nearly impossible to find in supermarkets) and "meatloaf mix" I use for making meatballs. They also have Waygu steaks (yay) seasoned hamburgers and tons of specialty and marinated meats. Super nice people. Store is nice and clean. 4/20 I just had to share how great things are priced here. Today I went in and got 2 steak burgers, 2 bbq burgers, 1 lb filet mignon and 2 blueberry maple sausages for less than $50! I was surprised it wasn't more. Totally thought I went over $50. Great place! 4/10 So happy we found this place! We've gone twice in the course of 3 weeks. So far we've tried the steak burger, best bbq burger, wagyu steak and NY grass fed strip steak. Blown away! The burgers are amazing! I highly recommend the steak burgers. The wagyu steak was very good. The strip steak was hands down my favorite so far. Just a perfect cut, quality piece of meat. Well worth the price tag. Happy to see fish there as well the previous small butcher did not have fish. It is nice for some of the other places have the competition they are starting to slack on quality and service. Love this place, you can't go wrong with any of their locations. They are helpful and their prices are super reasonable. I regularly go to stock up on their burgers (the blue cheese are the best) and brats (that arrogant bastard ale one is so good!)
