We've just purchased twice, yet both times were outstanding. We first purchased their steakburger. Wow - that was just amazing. My wife and I enjoyed every bite. The second time we purchased a couple of pork chops. Again, this was mouth-watering meat. The meat in this story is truly top-shelf. We look forward to eating our way through every shelf. Also - the employees have been friendly and knowledgeable. SUCH a great Butcher Shop.

Upon shopping at the butcher block in Henderson, Nevada, just before Thanksgiving we realize that this was a hidden gem for procuring meat products of every type. They provide beef, pork, lamb, and poultry products that are very high-quality. They're very customer service oriented, and very polite when dealing with their customers. The store is very inviting and has a lot of other products other than meat such as ready, made, salads, and deli items.

Finally made it here and wasn't disappointed. Jake was helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the selection and seeing things I'd heard of but never seen in person, and also learning about different meats and varieties. They can order things you don't see as long as it's legal lol. Didn't get anything, more browsing, but will be back and purchasing for the grill this summer. HIGHLY recommend if you're more particular about sourcing and traceability.

We had amazing filet mignon skewers from there and the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños were so good. Service is always in point as well.

It was pretty wild…read more Meats Gone Wild is a food truck - well, more of a jumbo-sized trailer - that often makes appearances outside such Henderson businesses as Lovelady Brewing and Khoury's Fine WIne & Spirits. I've also been seeing them at the annual, free-admission Sunset Park'd lately, and I finally felt like shelling out the dough to try them today. They do usually offer simple hot dogs for the not-so-adventurous, but their signature items are a variety of "exotic" meats, i.e. the not-so-commonplace game and fowl meats. Their sausages ($10) tonight included alligator and python/rabbit, but I went for the elk w/ jalapeño and cheddar. I once tried an elk burger, just a few years ago actually, but it wasn't very impressive. It turns out that if you make it properly, it can pop with meaty, non-gamey, delicious flavor. The sausage had the right snap on its skin too. I didn't taste too much jalapeño or cheddar, but you really should be letting the meat stand on its own as much as possible anyway. The bun was plain but supported the meat sufficiently, and the raw diced red onion added nice texture and a complementary bite. I'll definitely have to pony up (not literally, as far as I know) for more offerings by Meats Gone Wild the next time I come across them. They are unique in the food truck landscape, if not the entire local restaurant realm - let me know if anybody else advertises a camel offering!

You're going to get a tasting menu and it's going to take you a minimum of two hours to get through it, but you'll love it. The space reminds me of a dreamscape carousel, with the curves and showlights on the ceiling (which occasionally move in choreographed patterns). The staff all seem ecstatic to be there, and are impeccably versed in the menu and cooking methods. We did the Bazaar Tasting Menu ($215), which lists 14 items. These come as three sets of three one-to-two bite samples to begin, then the main event, which is the spectacular ribeye (Australian Wagyu when we were there) with three sides. There's also a flan for dessert. Particular standouts of the small bites for me were the jamon iberico taco (the pork is sliced tableside from its own cart, which has a glamour ringlight) and the "beefsteak" tomato tartare, which is like salsa as candy. The steak is expertly cooked "Jose's way", arrives sliced for you, and served with three sides -- a potato course, Brussels sprout petals, and piquillo peppers. By the time we got to this point, I couldn't possibly do justice to the sides, though I would love to have a jar of those peppers in my pantry. Bazaar Meat is a proper Vegas dining event, and if you're game for a big carnivore meal, you shouldn't hesitate to book your night.

My boyfriend and I used to come to the Sahara location almost weekly, and most of the staff knew us there. They are seriously an A+ crew, especially Sunday. Five stars to the amazing Bazaar team. That said, this review is really about my disappointment with some of the menu changes. First, they removed the oxtail consommé, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I still dream about that soup. Second, the caprese salad used to be my favorite bite in all of Vegas, and I eat at all kinds of restaurants around town, so that's saying something. But they no longer make it with dehydrated tomatoes. Now they just slice cherry tomatoes in half, and it's lost that perfectly blended flavor. The tomato taste is way too overpowering now. The A5 Philly cheesesteak has also changed. There's noticeably more cheese than before, which is a bit much for my taste. All that said, the service is still top notch and the food is still good overall. I'm just genuinely sad that, with these changes, it's no longer my favorite restaurant in town.

I even noticed small drips on the wall that looked like sauce stains, so yeah...not the kind of spot you come to for ambiance. BUT. The food? Absolutely makes up for it. I saw a steady stream of DoorDash drivers coming in and out the entire time, which already told me this place is popular for a reason and after eating, I get it. The food is really good. Like, seasoned all the way through, flavorful, not dry, not bland everything just hits. The chicken was juicy and tender with that perfect grilled flavor, and the portions are generous. The rice was fluffy, the mac salad was creamy and balanced, and everything together just felt like a solid, satisfying plate. No shortcuts, no watered down flavor, just good food done right. Vegas has a LOT of Hawaiian BBQ spots, but hands down...this is one of the best, if not the best I've had out here. So yeah, don't come here expecting vibes. Come here because you want a plate that's actually worth your money.
