Small specialty boutique type food store located in a strip mall in Miramar. They specialize in…read moreimports from Europe, but I feel like there's a concentration from France. From cheeses, meats, breads, a pretty extensive frozen section, there are so many treasures you can find here. I came here with my cousin who was looking for some specific food items, side, and purchase anything myself on this trip. Partly because I was gonna be out all day and didn't want the food sitting in my car. But definitely if I plan better next time I'm in San Diego I wanna buy stuff to bring back home. Just a gem of a find. There also seems to be plenty of parking in the area as we parked pretty much right out front.

Am I a butter connoisseur? Absolutely, not. However, I do know that if you're interested in trying…read moreFrench butter, this is the place to go. I should have purchased the Beurre d'Isigny butter here rather than going to Paris, buying Bordier butter vacuum sealed butter, having the hotel freeze it, then paying extra for check in luggage since it's a colder storage area. Cuisenery didn't have Bordier butter but when I was doing my online research, I found that both of the brands I mentioned are pretty good. I actually liked my Beurre d'Isigny butter better, but that's more likely due to it being unsalted versus the salted version I bought in Paris (apparently, you MUST use salted on your bread per the Parisians). They also had a bunch of other frozen foods and condiments, including frozen escargot in puff pastry, frozen baguettes, mustards, and jams.

This place is properly named extraordinary dessert for a reason. They are known for their desserts…read moreboth in taste and in aesthetics. Desserts: 5/5 We got a blood orange scone and a strawberry danish. The scone was warm and delicious. The orange essence was well infused. The danish was crispy and creamy. Everything was so picturesque. Food: 3/5 Unfortunately, the food was not the best. We got the smoked salmon sandwich which was not very flavorful. The salmon was also slimy. The pesto spread was good though. It was creamy and the artisan bread it was served had great variety. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is such super cute. When you walk in, the desserts all look super appetizing. The seating areas are super cute and the floral decor are stunning. Service: 5/5 It is an order then sit down establishment. There is great attention to their dessert. I saw them heat up a knife just to cleanly cut the cake. The food service however did take some time to come out.

Unfortunately the cake didn't hold well in my commute to Temecula (esp during the heat wave). The dairy ended up hurting our stomachs.

The service was absolutely amazing, everyone was really polite and helpful and the ambiance was calming and relaxing. I had ordered the pesto pasta and it was definitely fresh food and probably one of the best food dishes I've had in a while. Overall would definitely make the hour drive down here.

There were 4 of us and the restaurant wasn't super busy, but our server seemed to have all the tables on her service! The menu is decently extensive with a variety of pastas, pizzas and special dishes. I ordered the Canelloni, one of us got a pizza, one got the veal picatta and one got the spaghetti with burrata. Everything came out piping hot and ready to eat. The big dollop of burrata looked sooooo good! My meal was great - the burnt cheese along the edges was delicious! The pizza was tasty and apparently the veal picatta was delicious, too! They ordered a bottle of the Chianti and said it tasted great. I was going to order an Espresso Martini, but not at $22! Overall, the service was great, the food was authentically delicious and the vibe of the restaurant was nice and chill.

The place is always busy, but the staff works hard and keeps things moving. I also like that they text you when your order is ready, so you're not just standing around waiting. It has a welcoming, neighborhood feel that makes you want to come back. Definitely one of my favorite spots in San Diego.

It was a very meaty burger, no lettuce, onion or tomato which highlights the dry aged patty. The bun was nicely toasted and the bacon crispy. The havarty cheese was nicely melted. It was a tasty burger but I think I'd like to try the double cheese burger next time since it has lettuce and tomato for a fresher taste. I also got an order of beef fat fries. They were crisp but not as crunchy as I had imagined. They were also a bit pricy at $6. Though it was a good amount of fries. They are primarily a whole animal butcher/meat market but they do have sandwiches and burgers. Service was friendly and courteous but there were a lot of online or call in orders so my order took a bit longer. I ate on one of the few seats outside. There's a small parking lot that they share with the surrounding businesses but also some on the street. If you like a meaty burger like the friendly try the dry aged burger. If you like a fresher burger like Hodads or In n out give the double cheese burger a try.
