Ordered two catch boils and another 1/2 pound of snow crab with Crazy Cajun seasoning. While paying at the counter the young man asked for us to choose a tip since we were dining in. I had cash on me so my fiancé chose no tip and just paid for the meals. $97.27 was our total and I would typically give at least a 20-25% tip if service was good. The server brought out our food and never returned. The three that were working the front looked over at us numerous times but never came to check on us. Ordered The Catch through Yelp (Grubhub) for pickup on the way home from work. The order was on time. This was our first time trying The Catch and we enjoyed it. We ordered the fried shrimp po boy & grilled whitefish. The grilled whitefish comes with 2 grilled fish on top of rice, 2 hush puppies, garlic bread & two sides. More then enough food! The seasoning on the fish was very delicious. The po boy was delicious as well. Not sure what gambino bread was on the po boy but it was great. The only reason I docked a star is the attention of detail on the sides. I ordered potatoes & corn for one of the sides and got fries. But good thing the fries were good and my dogs liked them. Lol. The first time I had dinner here. It was delicious. We had the seafood boil a half pound of crab, a half pound of shrimp and a half pound of sausage with a piece of corn on the cob and potatos. The crab leg meat was pretty fresh as well as the shrimp. The sausage was tasty too. The portion size is large for 1 person but just adequate for 2 people. Her opinion was the restaurant deserved 5 stars. I had the catfish Po'boy sandwich and it was good, not quite 5 stars to me and I thought the hushpuppies tasted a little funny. The service was very friendly and the meal was served in about 10 mins. We ate in the restaurant and overall enjoyed the experience. First time ordering crab from any of the locations in Oklahoma. This pregnant lady was CRAVING crab legs.. found this location on DoorDash. My mother is Creole so I have high expectations for seasoning use, cooking method, spicy level etc. I ordered 1lb snow crab plus an additional half lb snow crab with Jalapeño lime sauce. Crab was served in a foil container not a bag (just a heads up) and a bit over cooked causing the meat to shrink :( The sauce would be good with fish or chicken but it was not good ON the crab. The creamy sauce turned me off and almost ruined the craving for crab because it's layered underneath the crab legs making them creamy and messy.. (please provide sauce descriptions in the future for online/delivery orders)!!!! I was under the impression that the sauce would be butter based and cooked into the meat like most crab boil flavors are. The corn was cooked well but had no seasoning. The potato was undercooked but easy fix with a few minutes back in the oven. Fried okra, although a bit too salty, reheated well in the oven but the hush puppies did NOT; they were soaked in jalapeño lime sauce :( I was very sad about that. Decided to try this place for lunch recently based on all the good reviews they've been getting and we definitely weren't disappointed! I ordered the shrimp tacos with a side of onion rings and my husband ordered the shrimp and whitefish with a side of red beans and rice. They've got a really good thing going here, but I feel like they could use a couple of tweaks. First of all, their portion sizes are HUGE! I realize this is a plus to some, but there was so much shrimp in my shrimp tacos that I couldn't even begin to eat them as a taco. I ended up getting a fork and eating the shrimp out of one of the tacos thinking I could reduce the size and then eat them like normal tacos. However, by the time I ate some onion rings, I was getting so stuffed and I still had a lot of shrimp so I gave up completely on the tacos and simply ate the shrimp so I wouldn't waste it. The onion rings were a really good choice and they serve them perfectly (super thin and flavorful breading and don't go overboard on the breading)! My husband really liked his whitefish and shrimp, but also thought the portions were a bit much. Since the food is fried, it's not the easiest to take home for leftovers, so you either waste the food or stuff yourself silly. As far the food itself, his whitefish was cooked perfectly and was super flaky and they didn't overdo it on the breading! His shrimp were excellent quality and also not over breaded. He really liked the red beans and rice and he's pretty particular when it comes to that dish. We will definitely be back, but will likely share an entree so there's not so much food. read more

Everyone is very nice and inviting, multiple people checked on us while we were eating and welcomed us or asked if we needed anything so I give a definite A+ for servjce. Got a call to meet with a friend for a spur of the moment dinner, and we were close to The Catch. Located in the old Smashburger location, The Catch is off the Northwest corner of Penn and Memorial. First glance I noticed it was very clean inside with minimal decoration. The menu has many options. Some I did t expect. Opted for the Gumbo and an order of the Cajun Pasta with Shrimp. My friend had the Shrimp and Etouffee. Pics included. All of it was tasty. The Gumbo was one of the better ones around. The pasta was nice and not overpowering. The added shrimp were pretty awesome. This is really good food and surprisingly inexpensive. I have had the shrimp and the catfish. Very happy with both. My wife doesn't like things that are spicy, so on request they made her fried shrimp without any of the Cajun seasoning and she loved it. Even my youngest who is a picky eater are his full meal. It is very rare when someone will use the term fresh seafood and Oklahoma in the same sentence. I was pleasantly surprised at the freshness of the food at The Catch. I had the fried shrimp and crawfish basket with hush puppies and fries. The shrimp was plump and delicious. The crawfish were very tasty too. I didn't really care too much for the hush puppies because they were very dense and doughy. I did think it was a bit pricey but keep in mind, I am pretty cheap. I expect a lot for my money. The catch has been my go to fish place for a few years now. The only grip I could have is, prices are a couple dollars high when comparing. That being said, when you do compare the catch to other places the quality of food is way better then most places. I am glad to pay $2-$3 more for the quality and taste. l would like to "drop a line" here for The Catch. It is southern fried gem. We pulled over on our way to the nature park, and decided to try out the catfish and shrimp place on the side of the road. I was surprised when we opened the door and there was a whole mess of people having dinner. We ordered the Catch 22 for 22$ to share between us. My hubby loves fish, shrimp, oysters, etc. however, I'm not a great fan. I'll eat just to satisfy hunger, but never have a strong desire for it.
