This little hole in the wall spot is straight fire y'all! There's so much goodness to choose from on the menu. I went with the crawfish tacos & boy did they not disappoint! They were huge and stuffed so fat you could hardly put the thing in your mouth. The crawfish tails were fried to perfection and definitely not over cooked because that happens way to often. The taco came with red cabbage, green onions, pico & avocado yummm! Today after church we decided to pop in and enjoy some Cajun food especially since I'm from Louisiana. The manager was very rude and when I called the location to discuss what happened at the location , the manager hung up on me . I'm in management also and the standard has to be higher when you're in a leadership role when taking care of customers . if you're unhappy with your role , step down or find a different job . It's not fair to the owner of this business and it's not right for the customers . The owner just lost revenue because a manager didn't respect the establishment. If it were undercover boss , the boss would have not been happy with the situation . read more

I am from Florida and I am surprised by the mediocre reviews for The Catch. I have been multiple times to both the OKC and Quail locations and have never had a bad meal. I always get the same thing though- fried whitefish and shrimp. Fish is always fresh and the batter on the fish and shrimp is very flavorful. I like the Cajun style sides as well. read more

The Catch is easy to get to. We went it and ordered immediately. The menu was easy to understand, and the wait staff was friendly. The food was FANTASTIC. I had the catfish and shrimp basket. Food is really good!!! Bar area is a bit small but cozy for after work drinks and snacks. The alligator is wonderful for a an appetizer or the meal. Where here yesterday! Most of the food is was okay! The oyster on the half shell were horrible we didn't get all our food out once! He want the oysters first we got them last and they were nasty! Food is just okay. The key lime pie is not exactly what you would expect. It's very soft, pudding like. The fries were good, shrimp, fish and hush puppies were fine. I ordered "the boil" which was 1/2 pound shrimp, crab legs and sausage. The amount of food you get and the price doesn't add up. Plus it was dry and salty. My order was Togo so when i got home i called them and told them it wasn't a 1/2 pound of crab legs and he stated that they weighed it.. yea... two tiny crab legs does not weigh a 1/2 pound. Not a fan. The Gumbo was pretty good but it came with a long black hair in it. Overheard a lady in the kitchen tell the guy that went to get me another bowl that it was probably one of our. My wife's hair is blonde and I don't have any. The second bowl he brought out wasn't as good as the first. The whitefish tacos had no flavor. The jumbo shrimp was descent. The atmosphere is really nice and simple. I was anticipating to have some spicy crawfish and when I received the crawfish it looked good. When I got home to actually eat it, it was so bland like they boiled it and put it in a box. Watery inside. NO FLAVOR most importantly and they even give you a range of slice levels to choose from and i picked hot. The lemon was added in the box which I appre because it gets rid of the fishy smell on the hands, but not on top of the hush puppies which were mushy and lemon juice covered. Gross ! read more

He took our order placed his hand over my cup and tried to use his shirt to open a bottle. The condiment area was sticky. The condiment container needs to be washed. My husband has catfish and shrimp combo and it came with fries and hush puppies as well for $13.99. Catfish is crunchy and tasty, whitefish is buttery and flavorful. Shrimp is large and very fresh! I heard good things about The Catch and being someone who loves seafood, decided to try it. I had the Catch 22 combo of 1 piece of whitefish, 1 catfish, some shrimp, oysters, hush puppies, and fries. Everything was cooked beautifully and looked fresh. The catfish was excellent and I will definitely be coming here to order more. The problem for me (which is a matter of taste) is that the shrimps and whitefish were way too spicy for me. I don't like spicy food at all and the seasoning was visible on both the whitefish and the shrimps. If you like Cajun/Creole-style seasoning, then this is definitely the place for you. I will be back for more next month after payday (they are pricey) and will see if I can actually get the seasoning taken off if I ask. If not, no big deal; I'll stick with the catfish and oysters. read more
