Finally made it to The Cavern! I was not disappointed. Upon entry I was greeted by the awesome bartender Tyler. The tap list is 30 deep with so many interesting choices. I love a hazy IPA so "Visions" by Woven Water Brewing -Tampa. They also serve burgers, hot dogs, fresh pretzels. The conversation with Tyler was the best part of my day! I can't wait to return!

This is one of our favorite little gems in Mandarin! Gail took over the business and is the absolute sweetest - she has done a lot and you can see a big difference in the atmosphere. There are 32 beers on tap, plus another beer cooler and your basic domestic options. This included NA and gluten free beers, ciders, and all types of sours and varieties. They've added some good food options (you have to try the burger) and really delicious hot pretzels. Saturdays and Sundays have a beer share event and you can bring food and snacks to share with everyone - it's a ton of fun and great to get to know people. There are networking events and also dart clubs/teams that come to the Cavern as well. Like I said, a true gem!

We wanted to support a local business So Tonight we grabbed some burgers, pierogies & beers. Meet the owner very nice and his staff as well. We found out this is their 3rd year is business! The pierogies so good.Burgers very good & the pretzel yum. ( we didn't care for the zucchini, fries or fries )All good comes out on paper plates- total bar food concept. They have lots of beers to choose from and they rotate the different flavors of beers. Make sure to read the bar menu over that taps. Inside clean doesn't smell like cigarette smell, lots of parking ,pool table, darts, cards & board games. Stop in have a beer & a homemade pierogi, and burger Support local!

We stopped in from out of town for a beer and brunch. What a great place! The service was beyond amazing. And the food was like a home cooked meal. Loved the beer selection! Definitely a must visit! Aarron is a great owner/bartender! Dawn and Tom

We made it to The Cavern this week. The burger did not disappoint!!! It was delicious, fresh and flavorful!! The fries were on point!! and The brussel sprouts were a lovely side dish. My husband is a beer drinker but I am not. I do enjoy mead and cider. It's hard to find mead on tap locally so I was jazzed. The bartender was a sweetie pie and the establishment had some great Halloween decor. We will be back!

It's A MUST to stop in at The Cavern on San Jose blvd, tucked in the corner of the shopping center near Outback. My wife and I like to finish off our date nights escaping the kiddos at The Cavern; trying new brews, chit chatting with familiar faces, and visiting with our favorite bartender, Gail! Tried out the new pool table too, it's a nice addition.

BEST burgers in Jax!! Aaron is so fun and awesome! Went the extra mile to tend to every person in the bar! A local family owned bar that recently started serving food...all hand made and locally sorced!! Expect a bit of a wait to get your food, but it is WORTH THE WAIT!! SO SO GOOD!!

They have updated the inside since I was there last. It was birght, clean, and had a lot of games and 2 dart boards. The owner was super nice and helpful. She helpede choose 2 ciders and both were really good. Do I remember the names? No...but they were delicious. My husband enjoyed a $1 something beer! If your in the area stop in for a drink!

I am thoroughly impressed. The place has been upgraded since I visited last. Two bar areas, some tables and a sitting area to relax. Board games, a couple dart boards and TouchTunes to have some fun. But my favorite was the food and drinks. My tasty spike smoothie was made with the fruit available, blueberry and banana. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed this Spiked smoothie. I chose to have mine spiked with a Fruit Punch Beatbox and it was amazing. Heathy enough drink and a bit of a buzz to boot. So good. Also ordered the grilled cheese on ciabatta bread with tomato and bacon. I loved the flavor. Then to top off my night had a Raspberry Cider. This may be a small Pub, but has enough to rave loudly about and come back time and again. I really recommend trying The Cavern, so many tap beers and canned libations to choose from, even non-alcoholic. I'll probably go for the heathy buzz again next time and sip a smoothie that can be mixed with whatever spirit sold here. Service is amazing and totally accommodating to your reasonable wishes. Can't go wrong swinging by this laid back Pub.

My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

Good food. Couple of gotchas but nothing much. Definitely will be back....

I've never had anything that wasn't delicious here. Most recently, I tried the Gringo Quesadilla and got it to the highest level of spicy that I could. It hit hard. It was delicious, but when they tell here that something is very spicy, believe them. I can't wait to go back and if you haven't tried this gem, I highly suggest you do.

First off we ordered steak burritos- paid extra... the meat was literally STEW meat- not steak! It was so disgusting. Secondly, the ground beef tacos tasted good until you realized how crusty the meat was- as if it had been sitting ALL DAY in a bin! And lastly the nachos were exactly the same crusty old chicken meat!! We ordered pretty much every meat there and all was DISGUSTING and we had to throw out because meat sitting around all day can't be healthy! My recommendation is to NOT come here for the food!

The brewery has a really cool vibe to it, and they also have plenty of TVs where they were playing sports. I know they are a brewery and probably really good at it, but I came here for the pizza. Their selection is small but mighty. When we asked the staff what he recommended, he said all of them (not making it easy buddy). Since they are on the smaller size, we decided to get three and planning to take home some leftovers. My favorite by far was the Pancetta Garlic pizza. At the beginning I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of garlic, but damn was I wrong. The garlic was cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth. I don't think I've ever seen a similar pizza anywhere else, and made it even more surprising. Frankly the other two we had were also very delicious, but I truly give it the top spot to the prosciutto garlic. Last but not least, I like that they had THC on the menu. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, it is nice to see other options available on the menu.

Unfortunately, I'm not in the area that much, and only once did I make the journey just to come here. What is the draw, you may ask? Great beer, great food, great atmosphere, great vibes! , That said, every meal I have had here has been delicious. The beer is pretty darn good & cold too! Of course, with the long drive...ya gotta limit it. But it's worth it for anything on the menu. I don't know where to start food-wise, I am trying to eat my way around the menu. The gator tail and fish dip are two of my favorites for small bites/appetizers. The Elk burger, the Taphouse burger, and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich are always amazing....and then there's the cole slaw...yummy! Delicious food, and they have more than just sandwiches. The menu offers a little something different. The atmosphere and vibe are always inviting, and the staff is super friendly. The prices are fair, portions are ample, and there is plenty of parking. The decor is fun too! Not to mention, they give a veteran discount with proof of ID. What more can you ask for? Well, I know what I can ask for! Around the Palencia & Kensington area, off US 1 to be exact...or anywhere nearby in that area. The folks there would love something they can walk to, ride bikes to, maybe even use a golf cart to get to...and yes, a short drive is good too. Jus' sayin'!
