While there aren't that many sandwich options, we went with the BBQ turkey bacon ranch, which comes with turkey, cheddar cheese, bacon, ranch, and bacon jam on a pretzel roll. It was a great combination, and I thought the bacon jam added a nice touch. I also decided to try a cheesecake when I went in to pick up the sandwiches. I ordered the strawberry and peanut butter. Found this cute little hidden gem on Holmes beach. Just when I was about to get my go pub sub this place caught my eye. I'm a sucker for hidden gems and cheesecake! Tucked away in the shopping plaza near Publix is The Cheesecake Cutie and Cafe. Upon walking in you are greeted by an absolutely adorable cafe and the sweetest employees. There are two cases of sweet treats! I honestly could not make up my mind because everything looked absolutely delicious. One case featured their cheesecakes and the other had a variety of buckeyes. I ended up taking the advise of the waitress and ordered the Greek Roast Beef sandwich. The deal also includes chips a drink and a cheesecake. For a small up charge you can get a glass of their home made iced tea. The one available was the Mote Beach tea. (Highly recommend, it's very refreshing). The sandwich was made fresh and was amazing! It had roast beef, tomato, lettuce, onions and a Greek dressing. A+ sandwich! Last but most certainly not least, the cheesecake! The star of the show! I originally selected the key lime but quickly changed my mind to the lemon blueberry. It is so flavorful, smooth and creamy! These ladies know what they are doing! The key lime was spot on what you would expect. The coffee cheesecake was rich and creamy. The seasonal peppermint cheesecake was regular cheesecake with peppermint drizzle. The fourth one tastes like coffee cake and had a great sweet crust. Ordered to go and they put them in a nice box with slots so they wouldn't move around and get squished. We know coming to AMI that we are paying pretty penny however, we were a little shocked today. We had finally visited today, we have been walking past for the past two years. The woman behind the register wasn't particularly friendly, very quiet. The menu is very small, very particular. They were kind enough to do a special order for us due to the kids, but a basic ham and cheese costs $12 using the same lunchmeat as Publix not even a block over. Next, we ordered a chicken salad sandwich. This too was quite pricy and in my opinion, terrible. I cannot even begin to place the sprigs and ingredients utilized. $38 later including the tip in that total, we will not be returning. Hopefully the desserts are to be raved about here. read more
