There's no better way to celebrate National Cheesecake Day than at The Cheesecake Factory with HALF-PRICED CHEESECAKE SLICES. I made reservations well in advance and rolled in at the very senior-citizen-approved dinner time of 3:00 pm with seven of us, my kids and their friends in tow. Our waitress absolutely understood the assignment. She kept the kid-sized drinks coming (a strategic move to avoid 47 refill requests) and was incredibly patient, friendly, and personable with our crew. The hardest part of dining here is surviving the novel they call a menu, so of course, I did my homework beforehand. We started with the Jambalaya Arancini and Soft Pretzel Bites. The arancini were perfectly crispy on the outside and moist and flavorful inside (an instant reorder). The pretzel bites, though? The table demolished them. They also give you an absurd amount of beer cheese, which I happily took home... and may or may not have considered eating with a spoon. My Chicken Parmesan "Pizza Style" was hands down one of the best meals I've ever had at a chain restaurant. It's crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. My son completely annihilated every bite of the pasta in the center. Then came the main event, cheesecake. We tried Peach Raspberry, Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll, and Red Velvet. The Peach Raspberry is a standout: light, fresh, and perfect for summer. Even as someone who doesn't usually go for cinnamon roll desserts, I have to admit they absolutely nailed it. The girls loved the Red Velvet but wished for a bit more cake and a little less cream cheese. The biggest surprise? Feeding seven people for under $150. Food was mediocre, overpriced and I was most irritated by the tiniest portion of salmon they gave me when I added it to my Ceasar salad for $9. The entire portion fit on fork. Huge rip off. Felt short changed walking out of that restaurant and we visited for my birthday. Huge disappointment. Nothing was good. If you want a real restaurant where you get value and quality for your money with outstanding service then visit Texas Roadhouse just across the street from Walden galleria (and their salmon was huge and cooked perfectly along with their steaks). This was not my favorite choice in all of the times I have been here. We ordered it because we saw it ordered by someone at another table when we were last here and thought it looked great. The top layer was pretty good, but as is often the case, the bottom layers of chips are less well dressed with the melted cheese, pico de gallo, jalapeños. There are scoops of sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole in the center of the platter. There is almost enough of each of these items to scoop with each chip, but not quite. Second time here, and I usually avoid chain restaurants, but my friend was very confident I'd like it. The ambiance was nice, not too loud. They came with hot sauce, blue cheese, and celery on the side. When they hit the table, my friend thought they were chicken tenders because of how perfectly golden they were . Super fresh, crispy on the outside with a tangy filling inside, and piping hot. Not too spicy either, so I did end up using the hot sauce. Great way to start the meal. 8/10 (My friend got the pork belly buns and rated them 7/10.) For our entrée, we both got the Louisiana chicken pasta with extra sauce and with a dash of salt & pepper she really hit the spot. The pasta was perfectly cooked, with mushrooms and tomatoes sautéed down into the sauce. The chicken cutlets on top were also very fresh and super crunchy. I loved the presentation of the sauce on the side, perfect for pouring it right over the pasta. I'll be honest, she did lack a little... je ne sais quoi. Nothing that hot sauce couldn't fix, but still noticeable. The sauce was quite thin/runny, but all in all I was pleasantly surprised by this meal and can't complain. 8.8/10 Now the portions here are pretty large, and as leftovers... she didn't do too well. Extremely oily, I was soaking up oil for a while before I could eat it. Onto dessert, the star of the show: lemon meringue cheesecake. I definitely found my favorite flavor. Perfect balance of creaminess and tartness from the lemon zest. Not too sweet and they torched the top so it had a little char. Super nice touch. 10/10 Overall I'd give this experience an 8.7/10. They have brunch during the weekend and we shared a waffles and strawberries dish. The waffles were very good, so were the strawberries that came with a big dollop of whipped cream. I know a lot of people that tell me they enjoy going to The Cheesecake Factory but I think it's overrated and I would rather go to a local spot to eat like The Yelling Goat in Lancaster/Depew. Now as for the cheesecake, yes, one hundred percent, go pick out your favorite! Slices are hugs, it's worth every bite and everything I have ever tried has been DELICIOUS! I've had breakfast here a few times and I haven't found anything that wow's me but would order the chicken and waffles again, in addition, something has always been wrong or disappointing with my order. Last time I was here, the waitress was happy to see us, it was a slow morning. I asked for a cup of coffee and was served a lukewarm warm cup of coffee that I absolutely could not drink and I didn't feel bad for sending it back and asking for more but I hate doing that. Immediately makes me worry that the rest of my order will also be neglected in some way. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was horrible, I had a hard time forcing myself to eat it. The food was very good I split the vodka posts and the 5 cheese pasta with my friend and they mixed so well the spicy vodka pasta was great with the creamy cheese pasta. First off, I have always been a fan of The Factory. Cheesecake is one of the few desserts that I can never turn down. I usually always get the same thing even though the menu is HUGE. I ordered take out the other night and wanted to treat myself to a nice little dinner since I didn't want to cook. I ended up getting the classic burger and fries. I really love the burgers from here. They have a great size, taste like a real burger should, and don't go overboard on the toppings. The fries here are good too. But it's not called the Burger Factory. The cheesecakes are where it's at. I got the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Cheesecake which was phenomenal. It was very sweet and definitely needed to be split between two people or a break between but it was so delicious not to wait. The big thing here is the pricing. The quality is good but I am also not trying to spend $100 for two quick dinners. That's the only reason I don't eat here very often. Tasty strips of chicken with carrots, bean sprouts, coconut curry noodles to place onto your lettuce leaves. Served with three sauces... peanut, sweet red chili and tamarind cashew . EXTREMELY DANGEROUS they're lucky she didn't swallow it! $7 for a BOTTLE of Mich ultra beer, simply outrageous. Manager comped the chicken meal because of the wire. Well we didn't start out good. We had a reservation waited about 15 extra minutes for a table, which wouldn't be so bad but our friends ordered appetizers and we also all gave our food orders at the same time. We waited over 30 minutes when the waitress brought out one food order and a salad for one member of our party ( there were only 4 of us). Then a second person got their appetizer about 10 minutes later while two of us just sat there and watched them eat lol. It took another 15 minutes before the other 3 were served their dinner. The waitress kept going back to try and find out what happened, but took her forever to come back to us where we should've been a priority since we were sitting there and waiting, and she could see what was happening at our table she kept apologizing. Eventually, she told us she would send Kevin the manager over well he didn't come so then she came back to the table and apologized some more and then she said she would get Kevin again. Kevin did eventually come, and at least he made it right by us, he did take off two of the entrées and apologized profusely. At least after getting the food and eating it everything did taste good. The steak frite was too small with a ridiculous amount of fries (needs to come off the menu) we will eventually try again and thank Kevin for taking care of a portion of the bill. read more

Went here today with my friend for her birthday dinner, while the food took a while our waitress was AMAZING and so attentive!! I wish I had gotten her name! I originally wanted the teriyaki salmon, but our waitress informed me that they were completely out of salmon - while kind of a bummer, I just ordered something new instead - the chicken Katsu. It was delicious! I do think the rice overpowered the rest of the meal a bit, I'd prefer a bit more veggies less rice next time, but it was still great. My friend ordered a side of Caesar salad and some Mac and cheese balls and was extremely satisfied. Honestly, the side salad of Caesar is enough to be its own meal - it's huge! I ordered 3 pieces of cheesecake - 2 for my parents and 1 for me, and they were all delicious from the bites I stole. We got the pineapple upside down, red velvet, and peach. Always enjoy my desserts that I order from here. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the food service was a bit slow and we found ourselves waiting a while. Completely understand though - things happen and kitchens get caught up, it's not a big deal at all in my opinion. The restaurant was clean, as usual, and it really wasn't that loud at all as well. Don't think I've ever been when they are not crowded but we got seated fast, and our server was very attentive and food timing was good. I went out the box and ordered chicken and waffles, which I have only had twice in my life. The waffle was amazing, cooked perfectly,and the chicken was fried and seasoned to perfection. Loved it. The table also got the orange chicken and lemon ricotta pancakes. The serving sizes are very large so value to portion is on point. Everyone loved their food. But during my most recent visit for dinner, I feel like the dine in dinner experience has gone downhill. Focusing on the positives though: they have a huge menu, prices are reasonable, and cheesecake is incredible. But what wasn't great was the absolutely disgusting bathroom at 6:30 at night on a Thursday. Garbage overflowing, paper towels on the floor, a leaking sink with a wet towel to control it, and only two stalls for a giant restaurant. Service was only OK too. The service was excellent! We had a reservation and from the time we came in until the time we left the communication was immaculate! Never unattended or searching for your waiter. We were seated almost immediately upon arrival. We ordered crab bites, crab wontons, street corn ribs, thai lettuce wraps and louisiana pasta. The crab bites were to die for! The sauce is the perfect touch. The wontons I was not a fan of, the crab tasted too much like the sea if you know what I mean. Street corn ribs were excellent! The thai lettuce wraps came with three small slices of chicken, which my partner expected more. Definitely more of a vegan option. This was my first time going to the Cheesecake Factory and my expectations were high, but it didn't take long to shoot them right down. #1- my niece made reservations for 7pm, in which case our table is not ready until about 7:10 PM. #2- it took so long for just so much as get our waters to get to the table. The only two who were satisfied with their food was the one with her fried chicken I believe it was and the gumbo that someone else had. No one else else liked their food. And the girl who liked her food, said there was no alcohol in her drink which there was supposed to be. Even their Diet Coke, which I was drinking was flat. To go, I ordered the Reese's peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. It was not great. Plus, it didn't look anything like the picture that I took of that one in the beginning of the evening. The piece I got was a lot shorter and smaller than the cheesecake that was in the counter. Everything was completely overpriced and ridiculously so. The portion I got of pasta and the cheesecake were so small and I paid $50 for that. The only good thing about this experience was the restaurant was nicely lit up and decorated. I enjoyed a celebratory lunch here on a Saturday. We were seated right away but there was quite a line by the time we finished eating, so if you come for lunch aim for an early one. The crab won-tons were good and had more crab in them than I expected (most places it's mostly cream cheese). I really enjoyed my jambalaya pasta - the linguini was a bit over-cooked but the shrimp was perfect. Plus, it's such a huge plate that I brought home leftovers and had lunch for two days. Win! Husband's burger arrived warm, not hot, but was very tasty. Fries were just okay, nothing special. I got a slice of the coconut cream pie cheesecake and it was excellent; it's a splurge at $11/slice but worth it to me for special occasions. Decor is large and gaudy and reminds me of Vegas so this was kind of like vacationing without dealing with airlines. The seating feels very squished together, and if you are just a table of two, there is a row of little tables with a shared bench on one side and chairs on the other; a bit closer to other patrons than I prefer, but it feels like a lot of restaurants are putting in a lot more seating and less floor-space. Everybody is squished these days. It's just a thing we have to deal with. (not knocking down anything for this, just commentary for those who don't want to be super close with strangers while eating). It was pretty loud with the high ceilings and large number of people in the space. I'll end on a high note - five strong stars for service! We started with the calamari, it was a extra filled plate which usually is a lot less. We were very happy nonetheless. For dinner I had the Parmesan herb crusted chicken. Amazing!! Green beans were great & the mashed potato's were divine as always. Comes with 3 chicken breast so it was filling. My husband had the carne asada steak. The steak was tender and full of flavor. Haven't been in close to 10 years but quality and quantity is still the same. Food was way too much and menu is still insanely large. We got a few things and 3/4 was great. Forgot the photo of the kids brunch French toast. But that was great too. Our server Mark was nice, polite and very attentive. If u like their stuff them u won't be disappointed. We were too full but otherwise we would have gotten a cheesecake. We ended up taking the pasta to go. Really needed to order 3 things instead of 4. Even with the supposedly lunch portions. read more

our eldest cat passed away and no one was in the mood to cook. So we ordered out. What a disappointment. The food was cold, the portions very small, and everything looked like it was just slapped together. We complained and were told they don't give refunds.
