My girlfriend and I stopped in for a quick bite before the Jeff Dunham comedy show. It was packed with at least an hour wait so we opted for the self seating inside the bar. That took about 30 minutes. Not too bad. Our waiter was friendly and polite. We ordered appetizers to keep it quick and simple. I had the chicken nachos without the chicken and shrimp. It was decent and warm not hot. I had a delicious glass of red wine. That was better than the appetizers. I give everything a 7 out of 10. Last night on a mission for Thanksgiving items I needed, I was in the area. Cheesecake is in Arundel Mills, so yes, let's stop. I hit the bar area order my Chicken Madeira and wait a good 15 minutes. It wasn't a long wait and when the food came out I dived in only to realize the chicken was tough so I grabbed my butter knife to cut it and low and behold I see raw chicken, the whole chicken was raw! I'm not sure how any chef did not notice this. The bartender quickly called the manager who said she would tell the chef but she never came back. Yup, this was off putting and you better believe I won't be back to this location and honestly my favorite dish was suddenly victimized because I'll never be able to look at that dish the same! Super GROSS! Ratings are low for reason! When I asked for the check yup, they charged me for my drink even though they failed miserably. Service was good and bless the bartenders heart but she smelled so bad, like an onion. I was holding my breath when she would come over, super sweet pretty younger girl but someone needs to tell her to wash her clothes or put on deodorant. Ooooooooh! A very great lunch visit here with my mom and sister! I wish I would remember the name of our server. He was full of so much personality. He had like shorter locs and a lil Baltimore accent lol He was very very helpful and patient as my mom took 100 years to order. The food was hot and fresh! The lunch portions are perfect. No Happy Hour at this Casino location. The food just was not good. It honestly tasted like hospital food. No seasoning, heavy and unfulfilling. I used to love Cheesecake Factory but they are getting worse and worse every time I go. But this location in particular is always horrific. Came here for a quick dinner. The one thing about Cheesecake Factory is that they have an extensive menu and you have to decide what you want out of the countless options! The ambiance was chill and quiet, as it was a weekday, which is the perfect time to come to avoid the huge weekend crowds. We opted for apps and got the spring rolls and chicken quesadilla. Our server was pleasant and took our food order quickly. Our server brought out that brown bread and let me tell you, it arrived warm and was good with that melted butter! The food arrived hot and fresh. The spring rolls were crispy and not greasy. The chicken quesadilla was good and not greasy as well. I washed my food down with a margarita, which was prepared well. We came here for my birthday lunch we ordered a round of appetizers. we had the Egg Roll Sampler,Cauliflower,Spinach Dip and Crab Balls. Everything was good except for the spinach dip it tasted like it was watered down so we sent that back and got the Fire Roasted Corn Ribs they were delicious. Good food, but long wait even with a reservation. We were meeting friends and I was able to make a 7:30 reservation. They wanted me to add one more for a total of 5. The app doesn't allow you to do that without rescheduling and then it gives you a much later time. Bad app design, but nothing the restaurant can do about that as it is up to corporate. So I called the restaurant and the staff member told me there was nothing they could do and we could just show up and likely not have a problem. Shockingly, upon arrival for our reservation, we were told it would be another 30-40 minutes beyond the reservation time. Ok, so we waited. Eboni our server was excellent and handled all of our needs. We ordered quickly and our food was up fairly fast. Two members of the party got the Bronzini from the skinnylicious menu. Another got a burger from the skinnylicious menu and I got the fried chicken bowl. It was good, filling and I enjoyed it. We all got dessert, but my friend is gluten free and they only have two types of cheesecake that are gluten free, one being Godiva cheesecake, which is one of my favorites. So we shared a piece and it was definitely filling and big enough for the two of us. All in all, the food was good, reasonable and filling. There were only about 4 pieces of mushrooms and minimal cucumbers. There were no other vegetables!!!! Even the three miniscule avocado slices were not green but a brownish color, definitely NOT fresh. The kimchi was flavorful and that was it!!! We also ordered chicken tenders, and they were how we always get them at Cheesecake Factory, bland but edible. They too were a little more dry than usual. I always add my own spices to them anyhow be it salt and pepper if I'm dining in or my own spice blend for takeout. The ambiance of this restaurant is always nice, especially since it's right next to the casino, but the food is mediocre. Certain appetizers will give you hope for what's to come during the entree portion. But then the entrees lack flavor and seasonings so you are just left with disappointment. During this experience we ordered drinks from the bar and we had to send them back several times because they just tasted horrible. Then my mom order a drink that had passion fruit in It, for the bar manager to come over and tell us that It doesn't have that flavor in It; so my mom had to show her what It says on the menu. Smh. My guests and I agree to cancel order and just order desserts. (Still want to have some semblance of a birthday celebration.) Mind you, an hour has passed by this time. Dessert orders are in. All cheesecakes. 15 minutes later, we still don't have the cheesecake. My guests and I decide to leave. I tell our waitress (who was very pleasant by the way) she tells her manager. I hear the conversation. Manager's response.... "I'm sorry." Yep. That's it. That was all he had to say. I'm shocked. Convinced this must be the standard. The guests decide to pick up cheesecake as we leave as a to go order. As a final kick in the ssa, they are denied the order because "they just closed". Here's the kicker, we had an 8:30 reservation. The restaurant closes at 10 pm. So we were ina restaurant for an hour an a half and only had drinks and bread! I know you're wondering, "why didn't you leave sooner?" It's because it was already late, and we didn't want to start over at another restaurant and we really wanted the dine in experience to celebrate my daughter. This restaurant is attached to the casino but the entrance is separate. It was so busy because there was a show at The Hall. Now The Cheesecake Factory is known for their brown bread and it used to be so much better than it was this time around. It was a bit dry. What's shocking is the 1/2 cup of butter the bring to the table! We read from a blog the ahi tuna poke nachos were a must order and it was lovely. The presentation was horrendous even for a chain restaurant and there wasn't enough fish but what's not to love about fried wontons and marinated tuna and creamy avocado? Our waiter was attentive although busy. The restaurant had the ambiance of most CF's .... Dimly lit. It is attached to the LIVE! Hotel & Casino so there is a bit more stimulation if you are seated in the area overlooking the casino, which we were. It did give us fun people watching while we waited. Typical wait for the CF. We had Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes (no avocado), Louisiana Chicken Pasta (I never deviate from getting this ), Chicken Carbonara, Kids Alfredo and cheesecake to go: vanilla bean, Adam's peanut butter cup fudge ripple and Oreo. Oooh, how I wish I could give the rating just based on the food. The food is always amazing! The portions are huge and it was HOT! However, the service is sooo slow. We sat at the bar and the poor bartender was swamped. The dirty cups just piled up around her. We got a manager because we wanted our check and a to go box, we even explicitly said "she is super busy," in hopes the manager would simply get the box for us. BUT she flagged down the bartender. We told her never-mind because we weren't trying to seem like she wasn't doing her job. She made some comment about the bartender needing to know....like she knows, but as a manager, you could help?? That was a misunderstanding. I didn't want another one to go. I ordered chicken tenders and french fries to go, and they were full of breading & old dried out chicken. It seems as though they need to change their oil . It seems as though they need to hire cooks that like to cook! Also, they gave me sweet potato fries that I did not order. My waiter did the best they could to accommodate me which I greatly appreciated and they did their best to handle the situation so I wouldn't have to deal with one of their managers. After getting home and opening up the food that I had to pay for again was just as terrible as it was in the restaurant . I called the following day and spoke to a manager named Sherry, who was of no help. She could really care less about my situation.
