The Cheesecake Factory at the Keystone Mall has long been a favorite spot when we're in Indy. During peak hours, one can usually expect a wait to be seated, as it's a busy place! Today we went for a very late lunch, early supper (4PM) and were greeted and seated immediately. Interior is quite attractive, and was the only pic (oops!) I took, showing our view from the booth we occupied. Next time, I'll try to get our food! Started with shared app of eight crab Rangoon wontons, using REAL crab! Very tasty! Hubby had the tuna poke "nachos," using seasoned crispy wontons as the Chip. Topped with fresh sashimi grade tuna, avocado, edamame, peppers, green onion, and a sriracha mayo. Very fresh! Generous portion. He loved them! I always have a hard time getting anything but the appetizer lettuce wraps as my entree...crave-able! Bibb lettuce cups, grilled chicken strips, julienned carrots, bean sprouts, fresh cilantro, lightly pickled cucumber, and three fabulous sauces to drizzle as you assemble the wraps. So many people brag about a well-known (PFC) Asian restaurant's lettuce wraps, which are okay if you've never had Cheesecake Factory's FRESH, crunchy, variety-of-toppings that accompany the perfectly grilled, tender chicken (which far-exceed the other wraps)...key words: fresh and fresh and fresh! While the server and food were both a 10/10, the wait and overall process truly took away from the experience for me. We waited 45 minutes just to be seated, followed by another 15 minutes before our server came over. Thankfully, we were able to order everything at once. We started with the fried zucchini, which was absolutely incredible! However, the bread didn't come out until my friend's dinner arrived. Our server apologized and genuinely seemed confused as to why my friend's food had been brought out when mine wasn't even ready yet. Honestly, with 8+ years of serving experience myself, it made me question the process a bit. Why have someone's food sitting in the warm area when the rest of the table's food isn't ready? I munched on the bread while waiting, and my meal didn't come out for another 10 minutes. When I asked for boxes because we planned to take the appetizer home, my meal was brought to me already boxed up. I was warned ahead of time that this would happen, but after already waiting so long, it just felt a little... meh. By the time we left, we had been there for about two hours, which felt excessive. Even ordering our cheesecake to go took a while, and when we finally got all six boxes, we were given one bag to carry everything in. I ended up struggling to get all the boxes out. The Cheesecake Factory will always be one of my favorite restaurants, and that won't change, but this experience definitely reinforced that you need a reservation or should be prepared to wait. And unfortunately, even after being seated, the service process was still pretty brutal. When you're spending around $60 on a meal for one, I would have appreciated some sort of acknowledgment of the extended wait--a simple apology, discount, or even just recognizing how long everything took would have gone a long way. Extremely disappointing experience overall, but thankfully the food was delicious as always. I had the Spicy Chipotle Chicken Pasta, which was SO good, and took home the Banana Cream Cheesecake. The cheesecake was, of course, amazing! I ordered a chicken Caesar salad-it was huge! It was a 'different' flavor base than I am accustomed to and I was heavily disappointed to see there wasn't ANY cheese on my salad. EVERY Caesar salad I have had anywhere else had parmesan cheese! We went yesterday (Saturday) and showed up at 3:30. We were told the wait was 45 minutes. We didn't get seated til 4:45. They let a child sit at the bar with their family, after I had asked if the bar was open seating. (This group had just shown up.) Our waitress was amazing, but overall, kitchen service was slow. The Mac and cheese balls were okay. The chicken parm was not great. Nothing was well seasoned and it honestly tasted like Cracker Barrel. The same could be said about my chicken Caesar salad. Just overall bland. The cheesecake couldn't save the day. The food was just not good, which I was devastated about because my wife is picky and I'd been hyping this restaurant up for years. I love going to the Cheesecake Factory. I wish they weren't in a mall because parking can be a nightmare. The wait for lunch today was only about 10 minutes. I love their turkey club, it's plenty for 2 people if you wanted to share. I usually get the cream of chicken soup but I guess on Fridays they don't offer that. So I opted for the Tortilla Soup. It had a good flavor but one bite was all I could eat because it was refrigerator cold. A good server would have said was their something wrong with the soup when she say I ate none of it. $8 is a lot for something you didn't eat. I took one star off for that. They were incredibly fluffy with just the right amount of citrus zing--not too tart, not too sweet. I don't always like going to the cheesecake factory because it always seems a little louder than the ambience I prefer. This visit we ordered pick up dessert after we went out to dinner at a different establishment. It was nice that when we arrived our dessert was packaged, neatly, and securely, and ready to go. It was nice that they didn't package the ice cream until I arrived so it wouldn't melt. I was also happy that they gave me additional whipped cream, eating utensils, and napkins to take with my order. We came here for my birthday - one of my favorite places ever. The server was so fun and helpful! She helped make it a special evening for me. We started off with drink and the best bread ever. We went there for a birthday celebration as a group of 6. We had a reservation, arrived on time but we didn't get seated until 10-15 minutes after (which isn't terrible). It had been a long time since I went to Cheesecake Factory but I was impressed with the menu still being huge. They have so many items. It took us a while to decide what to order. They also had a separate book for "skinny" menu. I ordered Peruvian Chicken bowl. Our server was good, but could have been more attentive. My husband and I had lunch at Doc B's and decided to walk around the mall and window shop to get a few steps in. That's when we had the great idea to grab dessert to-go from The Cheesecake Factory. I've only ever eaten here twice, I think, but I've ordered apps to-go and dessert more frequently. Their menu is just huge and overwhelming in my opinion. It makes me think "Jack of all trades. Master of none." Aside from the appetizers, the food is just mediocre, but the desserts are where they really shine. My husband ordered Carrot Cake (a classic) and I went for the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Cheesecake. Needless to say, our selections took care of that sweet tooth. Upon arriving, we headed towards the host stand and saw the line at the bakery. Walk-ins, servers and call-ahead/online orders were all being served from the one register. It was chaotic. My first time at The Cheesecake Factory -- finally! I'd heard so much about the massive menu, and yes, it's just as overwhelming (in a fun way) as everyone says. I had the glazed salmon with mashed potatoes, and it was absolutely delicious. We also tried the fried chicken -- so good! The atmosphere was great, though the tables were packed in a bit tight. Service was excellent from start to finish. And of course, we had to get a slice of cheesecake. It was perfect -- I just forgot to take a photo in all the excitement! The meal was good, service was good but the wait was unusually long. We were told 20 min wait for a table, however, we were not seated until nearly an hour later. It was apparent that there was a staffing shortage as the servers were extremely busy yet trying not to allow the frustration to be an issue. Once seated, it took another 20-25 min. for our meal to arrive. Our server was gracious, however when we asked another server who was passing by for some hot sauce, she returned and slammed a bottle on the table and it slid off and hit the floor and broke. I haven't been to a Cheesecake Factory in 10...15 years and I don't remember it being anything that blew my socks off...BUT this experience did. We were just in town 2 nights staying at the nearby Sheraton Hotel. Came in an hour before closing on Friday night and the place was packed. Our server was new, but still got adequate service. Enjoyed the flavor of the free bread, that butter is awesome. The bread is just so chewy and hard to eat. I love love loved their hot caramel royal coffee drink. Got the salmon bowl and was blown away by all the great flavors they incorporated into the dish. My brother-in-law got a chicken bowl and loved it. He commented on how impressed he was on how thin they cut the chicken. We really just loved it and now that we are back in TX, will visit our local Cheesecake Factory soon and more frequent. read more

Always surprised how busy they are with people constantly waiting. 830 pm and a 40 min wait. We were sat in a booth ( our preferred seating ) the chairs are uber uncomfortable. Our server greeted us after about 5 min. We ordered iced tea and the new pretzel bite w cheese fondue. Server brought out bread and iced water. We assumed tea was being brewed. Sever came back after a bit to get our order. We got a chicken Caesar salad and a chicken salad sandwich w fries. Our pretzel bites and cheese arrived. The pretzel bits were almost burnt. First dip into the fondue we could tell the mix had split. It wasn't smooth and had the consistency of cornmeal mush. Flavor was alright. Our main entrees came out. And they were fine not great not bad. We got refills on water and no mention of the tea. We finished our meal and got the check. Over 60$ for a salad with chicken, chicken salad sandwich with bacon and fries and the pretzel / cheese appetizer. Drinks weren't on the bill. So either he didn't hear us both when we said unsweetened iced tea or he realized he never got them and took them off the meal. The Appetizer was over $15 for burnt pretzels and split fondue. For as busy as they were it wasn't very noisy inside. After this meal we both wished we'd gone to the Brazilian Grill instead. I don't see the draw for Cheesecake Factory any more. read more

I'm here to write about my experience here at the cheesecake factory. The food that I got was really good. The food always delivers. What was so disturbing was to see the man busing the tables, clean up everyone's dirty dishes, and then use the same hands that he had just cleaned the dirty table and plates with, put out clean plates and silverware and napkins. I don't normally leave poor reviews but I would advise anyone considering dining at this location to reconsider. We decided to go to Cheesecake Factory for our wedding anniversary because we both wanted cheesecake. We arrived for our 7pm reservation and were told there was no reservation in our name. I definitely called the previous day and made a reservation, and checked my phone records to make sure it was the right location. Thankfully it was a Tuesday night so we didn't have to wait too much longer past 7 for a table. We got sat next to the bussing station and battled fruit flies the entire meal. We ordered an appetizer which was completely forgotten, and by the time our server returned so we could ask him about it, our dinners had arrived. The food was ok but nowhere near being worth $25 a plate. The old fashioned my husband ordered was $17, which was extremely overpriced for what you get. We picked this restaurant for the cheesecake, but were so disappointed by the end of our meal we didn't want to spend any more money here so we skipped dessert. I know Cheesecake Factory isn't the nicest restaurant in the world but when you're paying more than $70 for two dinners and one drink, you expect a little more in both quality and service. read more

Was very disappointed by the food and service at The Cheesecake Factory at Keystone. The food was below par (average at best). The good news: I must give a big thumbs up to my vegetables (when I finally received them). The mashed potatoes and carrots were excellent and the green beans were cooked to absolute perfection. After trying a piece, I brought the biscuit home to my dog, but the warm bread served to the table at the outset was delicious! Those who ordered dessert (cheesecake in one case, red velvet cake in the other) raved about the taste and quality. The bad news (service):There were 4 of us in our group. When the first of our orders finally arrived after a considerable wait, only 2 of us were served (by our "official" server) and both of those orders were missing components (the salad in one case and a vegetable in the other). The other two people in our party were served (by someone running out of the kitchen and presumably off the line) about 5 minutes later. One person still had to wait for the drink she ordered even before we ordered food. The bad news (food): The burgers were the size of chocolate chip cookies and I found the "fried chicken" in the Southern Fried Chicken Bowl to be inedible. The guest who ordered the Double Smash Cheeseburger left half of it on his plate saying it wasn't worth the effort to eat it. We got there a little after 5 and sat down right away around 5:10. They didn't seem busy at all so it makes sense why we were able to sit early. Appetizer came shortly after - not too long of a wait. Very breaded and not much filling - would not order again. 5:45 rolls around. Still no food. We tell our waitress we want to order cheesecake to go and she said she'll put the order it when we're about halfway done with our meal. Fair... but still waiting on our food. 6pm rolls around. Still no food. Mind you, we still have our 18 month old with us and all we ordered for him was a cheese flatbread. Finally 6:15 rolls around and we just ask for the food to go since our son's bed time was approaching and the food had still not come out yet. And the waitress still never mentioned anything about my wife's birthday. Very disappointing experience and we will not be returning. read more

Steak was amazing, the sauces, the pasta etc. The key is it originally comes with mash potatoes instead of pasta. Ask to substitute the mash potatoes with pasta. The best food hack of all time.
