Our waitress was Claudia P on check #0145 on 2-15-25 at 15:00 at 600 Town Center Dr. Claudia was exceptional with her service. But the girl to whom I handed my $50.00 gift card when my wife and I were led to our table was a THIEF! This woman took our $50.00 gift card and put it in her apron as we were sitting in a booth. She took our water and Dr Pepper order along with our meal order-gumbo soup and spaghetti & meatballs. For some reason Claudia took over the serving duties from there. When the bill came, there was no credit for our $50.00 gift card. When the manager brought this waitress to our table, she DENIED ANY KNOWLEDGE OF OUR GIFT CARD! This was a lie! The female manager handled the situation admirably and made the adjustment on our bill. We appreciated the manager's consideration and tipped Claudia well. We left feeling disgusted having to deal with a liar. I was a police officer/ detective with the Cleveland Police Department for many years but never would I have expected such behavior from a restaurant employee. We are going to their happy hour from 4 to 6 everyday . They have a great selection of food my favorites are the bar burger stiffed mushrooms and the shrimp dish portions are huge and we have to share . We are all trying to get the most for our money . Went there last night for dinner . We got sat outside. Our server came to introduce himself got our drink order. Then not even 10 minutes in he asked if "Jennifer" came over to introduce herself since he was leaving for the night, we said no because she didn't . We thought he was going to go ahead and bring her to the table and introduce our new server that would be taking care of us and as they do countless times at restaurants. Nothing . She came over and just asked are we ready to order ... she didn't introduced herself nothing . We have her the order and proceeded to wait. When our order finally came and the runner dropped off our plates I was waiting to be asked " did you need anything else?" Again nothing . I always order the spicy chicken chipotle pasta and 100% of the time (except this one) they ask if I would want Parmesan, 100% of the time I say yes please. Not here. Keep in mind my pasta was getting cold due to them sitting us outside I was waiting for the server to stop by and ask if everything is ok and or if we needed anything. As a server should ... I was getting upset (mind you I'm 8 months pregnant I'm starving) Finally she stops by I ask her if I could get Parmesan since it wasn't offered she didnt seem sympathetic or anything. Okay? I mean what happened to the customer service. Then I had finished my Shirley temple and had my cup out on the edge of the table so she could see it was empty she passed by it twice and didn't offer to refill it or anything. I had to flag her down and ask her for a refill I was over her and my experience here so I asked for the check and a Togo box. We paid . We left As were walking out we clearly passed by her and she didn't even say "have a good night/thank you have a good evening " nothing... Girl bless Our total was $80 and some change and we left a $10 tip (mind you I didn't want to leave that much since I felt she didn't deserve that tip but my bf was embarrassed) Jennifer you made my experience at this Cheesecake Factory very dissatisfying. This place has improved, with better food and service than in the beginning. The wait staff is very attentive. This place has a fun vibe when it's busy, which is often. We come her a lot for late-night dining. We love their seared ahi. The fish portion on the dish is small, but the flavor is amazing. The rice on that dish is special. I also enjoy the miso salmon as well as the fish and chips. The fish and chips include crispy pieces of high-quality fish. The chips were crisp. The tarter sauce is tasty. My wife enjoys the skinilicious grilled salmon with mixed veggies. My son loves the Smokehouse BBQ Burger. We are addicted to the stuffed mushrooms. I'm giving Cheesecake Factory 5 stars because of the amazing food. No matter what, I always leave satisfied. We stopped by for lunch and drinks on Saturday after a long morning of shopping. It didn't seem as busy as I had seen it, and we were able to get a booth in the bar area. Bartender was our server. He was very friendly and attentive. Hostess booth is 50/50 on the level of service you receive (as noted per other reviews), and I was pleasantly surprised they were better in greeting us this time compared to previous visits. I always love the complimentary warm bread (sourdough yuuuum) and cesar salad. You can't go wrong with their avocado eggrolls and fettuccine alfredo as well. Prices are average/higher than average but when food is good it's worth it. Although we didn't get cheesecake this time (so many leftovers at home from Thanksgiving), we love the coconut creme cheesecake and raspberry white chocolate. You have to go through the front door and let them know if you're waiting for a table for patio seating or going to the bakery area to pick up your order. The food was good and fresh. I like the lunch specials (can't go wrong with either the salad or pasta). Also comes with bread and butter. And they carefully box the food up and seal it in a bag. And they have a lot of different cheesecakes to choose from. There are some signs directing people that there's one direction for flow of walking traffic but most people don't observe the signs and walk wherever they want (which I don't like). Great place to dine-in during the Covid-19 pandemic. Stopped in for lunch and was impressed with the safety procedures in place so opted to dine-in in their outside courtyard. All the staff practice good social distancing and sanitizing practices. Was going to have a lunch special but couldn't resist the Stuffed Hamburger, done perfectly and oozing with melted cheese and flavor, topped with sautéed onions. The brioche bun was crazy soft but didn't come apart with the oozing goodness! Their Arnold Palmer was great with this. Food was honestly pretty average and the calories are insane but the cheesecake was obviously delicious and I went home and froze it with the whipped cream and it was infinitely better! Honestly, most of the stars for this review is for the staff because they were super sweet and we loved the distanced outdoor seating layout. I'd like to start by saying I'm a frequent flyer at this place. Whether it be dine in or take out, The Cheesecake Factory is a regular on our rotation. With that said, I've dealt with many servers who are absolutely amazing have always had decent to amazing service...until our last visit. Went in to celebrate a birthday with dinner. It took a while for our server to make an appearance for drinks but we weren't too concerned as we were settling in. After a while a woman in uniform speed walks past us and shouts out, "I'll be with you in a minute"...uummm whaaaa??? We all look at each other asking who was she talking to?? Well turns out that was our service and this was her style of serving. She was cold, seemed miserable and always walking past as she spoke to you behind your back. We were seated next to a pony wall where the servers were all congregating. This is where she chose to stand while shouting at us instead of coming up to our table and speaking to us properly. She treated us like an afterthought and ruined our birthday dinner. I've never been so disappointed in service at this place. I couldn't even catch her name as she never approached the table, rather hid behind the wall. 2 other servers came by to refill drinks and drop our entrees (which they brought the wrong food). I'm not sure what was going on that evening 9/28 but it's left a bad taste in my mouth and a lasting impression (not in a good way). Get it together guys!! read more

The thing about the Cheesecake Factory is the food is always guaranteed to be good . It hasn't been one time I've come to the CF and it hasn't tasted good . As far as service it was very efficient . Hence, having tasted the best gourmet food by the top chefs in San Francisco. I couldn't get enough of this Cajun Jambalaya Pasta with shrimp and all those flavors savored into one meal. Oh my gosh! If you can only remember the diner scene of "When Harry Met Sally" .... yeah, "I'll have what she's having" ... or so, that's what the patrons passing by told me. Last week, my friends and I, who are all local business owners in Ventura County and frequent patrons of this location, had a disheartening experience. My friend, who faces mental health challenges and relies on a therapy dog that is blind and unable to walk, was asked by the manager, (Jess), to leave right after our meal was served, citing a health code violation. This claim contradicts ADA and Department of Public Health guidelines, which recognize the legitimacy of such support animals that have health conditions. The situation could have been handled with more understanding and sensitivity. At the very least, a friendly reminder for future visits, offering an alternative seating area like the patio, or acknowledging and compensating for the discomfort caused to my friend would have been appropriate measures. Moreover, this incident highlights a broader issue of inclusivity and compassion at Cheesecake Factory, especially towards members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with disabilities, and pet owners. It's imperative that your establishment reevaluates its policies and staff training to ensure all customers feel welcome and respected. Extremely poor reception staff. I think this is the first time I ever felt like I was imposing on reception to request a table. Late dinner on a week night, seating requested for two. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait. I observed multiple open tables and ample room on the patio. When asked about the multiple four tops, I was told I would have to wait for a two before I was seated. For 15 minutes I observed parties of four enter and be seated as walk ins, yet I was not offered the table? When we were finally seated, I made note of the half dozen vacant four top seating opportunities. I guess in the future I will express a larger party so that I am not made to wait. The available four tops were never exhausted during my experience. Finally seated, wait staff was courteous and reasonably attentive to my experience, making this level of the experience positive. Once food was delivered to us, unfortunately we did not see the wait staff again until the end of dinner. Empty drink glasses from mid experience to departure. We would have re-ordered our 12 to 17 dollar cocktails twice, had we the opportunity. All in all, not a great experience for the money. Food was well prepared and served hot. No complaints about the food's quality in all aspects. When wait staff was present, they were very personable. Not likely to return or recommend as the experience was nowhere near standards for the restaurant. Red Robin and Larson's are walking distance. read more

The only thing that stinks, was that they never told us our order was ready and we waited and waited... We finally went in and our food was ready (for how long), therefore it was not hot when we ate it. The mango key lime cheesecake is still as good as I remember it being! We were seated almost immediately at a tiny table stand like the one pictured in this review next to another party of 6 seated at the next few tables. This is the same seating they offer at many of the newer McDonald's. You can imagine the lack of intimacy. When we asked the server if we could be moved, she took us back to the front to speak with the hostess. The eye rolls between them and the various reasons that we couldn't be seated at the several empty booths would have been acceptable without the attitude. It seemed to be taking quite some time for our food to arrive so at 12:30 when we noticed that a family that was seated 15 minutes after us was eating their lunch we flagged the manager over. We asked as it had been 45 min since we placed our order and she not only got defensive but actually was argumentative. For a manager this is a very poor example of how to treat a customer. Our server on the other hand was very sweet and polite . I guess the take away here is that the manager with the earpiece should take a que from the server on how to treat a customer and maybe a refresher course on customer service is in order for her. read more

Let me preface this by saying I have never sent food back in my life or complained about my food. I have never left a bad review at a restaurant or anywhere for that matter. I was in the industry for a long time and I understand things happen or slip by or you have a bad night and I just generally don't want to bother anyone even if it's totally wrong or awful. That is until I received rotten food from this restaurant. Twice. I ordered the large order of strawberries that's like $10 and it was completely rotten. Like well passed expiry, mushy, moldy strawberries. See the picture. That is a obviously a health code violation and frankly dangerous so it was the first time I was ever like I HAVE to say something. This was in the beginning of October. The first time I called to just give them a head's up so that they could throw the rest of the strawberries away and prep new ones. I told the girl that answered the phone what happened and she said "okay hang on" kept me on hold with the elevator music for five minutes and then quickly took me off hold and hung up on me. I call back again thinking it was a fluke, I don't even get an answer just the phone picking up and hanging up. This happened three more times because I probably reached bakery and they didn't want to get in trouble for giving a customer rotten food. I called from my boyfriend's phone and the host answered and I told him what happened and he was mortified and was like don't worry you will not get hung up, let me grab my manager for you. I told the manager what happened and she was extremely apologetic and also mortified and I'm like it's fine, things happen, don't even worry, I'm literally just calling you to tell you to throw out the rest of the strawberries so you don't make anyone sick. She offered to send a gift card and handled the situation totally professionally. Tonight on 10/23, we order take out again. We eat here 1-2 times a week and I hadn't gotten strawberries since. But tonight I order strawberries with the rest of our food and I go pick it up from the bakery counter. I ask the girl that gave me the food if she could grab me some ranch and she like of course and heads to the kitchen. I have a feeling the strawberries are going to be bad and I go to check them. I see that half of them are rotten. I get that strawberries aren't in season and that the supply chain is messed up so they aren't as fresh as they normally are when they receive them. I get that stuff happens, I really do. If someone had just said "I'm so sorry, let me grab you a fresh container" everything would have been fine and I wouldn't be writing the first bad review of my life but that's not what happened. Another girl in the bakery sees me pick up a strawberry and I just show her the rotten strawberry in my hand. Without either of us saying anything, she grabs the whole container from me, throws the one strawberry I had in my hand away, goes to the strawberries in the fridge, and then comes back with the same container. There are clearly still rotten strawberries in it. I ask her if she grabbed new ones and she said "no I just replaced the one you had" and I grab another strawberry to show her it was rotten and another. I didn't say anything because it was loud in there and we had masks on so I just started picking out the ones that were bad. She grabs the container and lid with the other strawberries I had picked out and she goes "no it's fine I'll get new ones" and yanks it from my hands. She's clearly mad, turns around, aggressively throws the strawberries into the trash (which was a small hole in the counter so they don't even go in they just bounce back and go on the counter), and goes to grab new ones. This act had caught the other workers' attention back there and they all turned around and looked at me like what just happened. She came back with new strawberries and handed them to me. I was fuming. You gave me rotten food and then got upset with me because I had asked for not rotten food? About 5 seconds later the other girl that went to grab my ranch came back and she could feel the tension and was looking around like what happened? I looked at the strawberry girl and I said "you cannot get angry with me because you gave me rotten food and I asked for not rotten food. That is not acceptable." She pretended to not hear me so I repeated myself and I walked out. My boyfriend and I barely touched the rest of our food because we were so grossed out at the thought of what else is probably not good that they're still serving and we definitely didn't eat the "fresh" strawberries that were in the same bucket of prepped strawberries that were rotten for obvious reasons (would you want your food touching rotten food?) in addition to the likelihood that the girl spit on them. We will obviously not be coming back and I recommend that you don't either if you value your health and safety. read more

Came by for an early dinner and was very satisfied that I did. There was no wait which was wonderful because of the fact that this location is much smaller than others I've been to. Started with the buffalo blasts and fried zucchini, both of them were delicious! I don't remember liking the buffalo blasts years ago so they've definitely stepped up their game. My go-to is the Renee's special which came with cream of chicken and artichoke soup, Caesar salad and a chicken walnut salad sandwich. I finished with the dulce de leche caramel cheesecake which was a first try for me and it did not disappoint! Our server was very quick and attentive and had a wonderful personality. I understand that parties of 2-3 get tables sooner. Called us up to be seated but the table wasn't ready until 13 min later. ?? Took that long to clean a table !!? We know the food is always good. What the heck happened here. Yes the cheesecake is yummy, and with so many unreal desert choices, OMG you can enjoy any cheesecake version the cheesecake gods come up with. The fairly new location with all the beautiful interior decoration and outside patio in the Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard seems to be real busy, very popular! The place looks great! On a Saturday we ordered their chicken salad sandwich and a salad. What a big disappointment. How hard is it to pull together the right ingredients to make a chicken salad sandwich that tastes great? The toasted bread was covered in a grease or an oil. Yuk. The chicken and other ingredients all just fell out on to the plate, even with a tight grip on the sandwich segment. Flavor was pretty sad...not much chicken... Good to see they are offering "Skinny" portions on several items. They simply put way to much food on the plate, so they have smaller options. This equals more room for one of their giant deserts... makes sense. Quality here seems to have dropped a few notches, bummer. The staff seems to be green behind the ears, maybe they are just too young. It does take time to get in sync ... They weren't tuned in to what the customer needed to do like sit down... too goofy. You really don't go to the Cheesecake Factory expecting high quality food, but each time I've gone I have been pleasantly surprised. Turkey burgers can be a bit chewy if not done properly, but mine was tender and delicious. The fries were fine. My wife's classic burger was good but fell apart and was a mess to eat. My mother-in-law also got the classic burger. She asked for it medium well but it still had some pink, which she's not a fan of. Her side salad was requested with ranch dressing but came with Italian dressing instead. The white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake was divine. The waitress was just OK - waited a bit too long for the food (not her fault) but it took a long time for her to get the folder with the bill and my credit card. We will continue to visit the Cheesecake Factory 2 or 3 times a year for birthday celebrations- that's good enough. read more

Not a good experience! I have been to there other locations and always had a fantastic experience. This location was not what I would expect. Service was slow and the restaurant was not busy at the time I was there. I got the chicken piccata . My mash potatoes were dry , I felt like it was reheated from the lunch shift , chicken was dry and they barely had any sauce on it . My sons rice was dry and didn't seem fresh at all , he couldn't eat it . That seemed old and reheated as well . Waitress was not around for me to inform her I wasn't happy until the end of are dinner . She apologized and said she would give us a free piece of cheesecake .
