Service started out good but the waitress started to lag after the food was brought to the table. I couldn't get a refill on my drink while eating and had to drink water to eat my food. Worst meatloaf I have ever eaten. The meat was hard and burned. Forgot to bring fries that were ordered but added to the bill. Should have learned from the first time I went to this place. We had the most horrible experience at this location, after 30 minutes to an hr later we had severe diarrhea and we had a list of symptoms . I had ordered the herb salmon and a chicken Alfredo with my partner. The one star is basically for the rude bartender and horrible service we had. We sat during happy hour (wasn't busy at all). The bartender with ginger hair took our drink order- no "hello" , "how are you?"- you know-basic greeting/acknowledgement. Just walks up to us and stares for us to order as if it's a total inconvenience we're sitting in her section. I'm a server, I get it sometimes we have bad days, but I would never treat my guests the way this lady does. It got to the point where we asked for a different server from the manager because we couldn't take the attitude anymore. The manager came over and said she would have another server come over- we waited 10 minutes and no one came until an asked the host if we can be seen. We are not rude people. If anything, my experience in this line of work has taught me to be kind and understanding towards anyone who works in the service industry, which is why I'm so confused on why we were treated the way we were yesterday. On top of that, the manager refused to give us the name of the bartender, but looking at a few other comments I can assume who it is and that this isn't the first complaint this bartender has had. I would absolutely never step foot in this location again as long as the same staff is working there. So...been here twice already and not really feeling it. The first time we were with our dog, and thought it would be "no-biggy" to sit on the patio. Nope, no dogs allowed, unless a service animal. Ironic, since Lazy Dog is right next door and they are certainly dog-friendly, which is where we ended up going. Gave this place a second shot, and again, not really impressed. I always thought of CF as the gold-standard for casual dining and customer service? We attended with a party of three on Sunday afternoon. Waited an extended time to be greeted by our server, evidently there was some mix-up on who was attending our table. Warm food was served cool. Bartender was a tart as well. I understand they have "poached" an awesome manager from a nearby restaurant, so I am hoping he will get in there and shake things up. There are plenty of other dining choices in the Collection, recommend you check them out. Hopefully this CF location will elevate their service to what is expected from this brand. read more

I really like this location. Sometimes service can be a bit slow but the servers are always nice anyways and the food comes out quick once the order is placed. I often get slices of cheesecake to-go with a coffee or other beverage and they make sure I have everything I need for both before I leave. One time, late at night, they brewed a freash batch of coffee just for me, I loved it. Us coffee drinkers know how that goes. Iv never had any real issues dining in either. Today my crispy chicken sandwich was so good, I asked for a side of mayo, then a nice gentleman (food runner?) ask if Id like to have the buffalo sauce on the side as well, Yes! Seems like it's always crazy busy at this location but they seem to handle it okay outside of running out of things and the rude hostess. If you make a reservation it's a bit more bearable. Our server was great - I felt bad that I kept ordering items that they didn't have cuz it seemed to make him feel bad. When I finally found something they actually had available, it was okay. Nothing to write home about. My husbands steak was over cooked but he said it had good flavor so there's that. Probably won't be back unless it's specifically for cheesecake. read more

The cheesecake factory at the Thousand Oaks Mall is incredible and wonderful. The food and the service gets a five star. However, the one in Oxnard the collection is nothing but an upholstered sewer. Service is horrible. Food is extremely mediocre. Drinks, well water down. Avoid this place at all cost on each occasion that I have been there we all over here customers arguing with the manager and the manager arguing back. It's awful. Stick to Thousand Oaks. read more

The managers and workers at the door ignored us for 20 minutes after we got the text message that our table was ready and sat 5-6 parties before we reminded them that we were waiting, the meal was not any better we were served horrible burnt cold chicken, the waiter kept saying he forgot things like water, bread, they brought the wrong drinks 2 times, they forgot our appetizer but brought out appetizers for 2 parties that were seated next to us. Then he said well, I forgot your appetizer and you food is coming out so they just never bought it out maybe to avoid getting management's attention? I've been to Cheesecake Factory many times before. This was a first for this location and honestly my experience here was not what I'm used to visiting Cheesecake Factory. The food was cold and the service was terrible. We were here for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Mostly due to the fact that's we were never checked on or helped. When we ordered desert it didn't come with forks so we asked and the server said I'll be right back with them. She never returned. I had to get up and ask someone for forks. The Cheesecake Factory is an iconic place known for their decadent and plentiful cheesecake. But surprising to me was their appetizers and pasta. I tried their egg rolls with some hesitation, but I was wonderfully surprised! The deep fried crisp was good, and the tasty filling was great! Next was the Cajun pasta that had a mild kick but the creaminess of the sauce countered it resulting in a rich but savory pasta. The wonton chips were a nice touch and added an extra texture that really brought it all together. Here's to Friday night celebration of my sister finishing her credentials program!!!! She wanted to celebrate at home with some dinner from the Cheesecake Factory. So, we are at home and had the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, chicken bellagio and the kids spaghetti and meatball for the little one. Each of our meals were delicious. We got the standard bread, which was dried out so that was a bit of a bummer, our food was on the cold side and the presentation was a bit on the messy side. We ordered 3 slices of cheesecake which were splitting and falling apart but that didn't detour us from a wide variety of flavors. The mango key lime cheesecake had a sweet but tangy flavor that caused a quick pucker. The 30th anniversary cheesecake, with its thick layer of cake in between the cheesecake, is a total experience in your mouth if you like it rich! The Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake had a perfect mix of chocolate and peanut butter mixed with the cheesecake and is one that I will try again at another time. Our waitress was Claudia P on check #0145 on 2-15-25 at 15:00 at 600 Town Center Dr. Claudia was exceptional with her service. But the girl to whom I handed my $50.00 gift card when my wife and I were led to our table was a THIEF! This woman took our $50.00 gift card and put it in her apron as we were sitting in a booth. She took our water and Dr Pepper order along with our meal order-gumbo soup and spaghetti & meatballs. For some reason Claudia took over the serving duties from there. When the bill came, there was no credit for our $50.00 gift card. When the manager brought this waitress to our table, she DENIED ANY KNOWLEDGE OF OUR GIFT CARD! This was a lie! The female manager handled the situation admirably and made the adjustment on our bill. We appreciated the manager's consideration and tipped Claudia well. We left feeling disgusted having to deal with a liar. I was a police officer/ detective with the Cleveland Police Department for many years but never would I have expected such behavior from a restaurant employee. Bravo and welcome Cheesecake Factory to Ventura county! So happy and excited to have a new dining place in town I believe they have been open for only 3 weeks now but I feel like customer service got it down! We were seated in a fairly timely fashion with a table of 6 adults and 1 baby Our foods came out all correct as ordered. The steak Diane was to die for! I will always order this. It's like steak medallions with mushroom and garlic mash. The Cajun chicken spicy pasta was actually pretty good too but not great. The banana Crème cheesecake is the best!! Smaller location compared to others in the area. The wait times can be pretty long. They have a system where they'll text you when your table is ready. Even when it is, you have to wait in another line inside for a few minutes. There's outdoor and indoor seatings. Since this place is smaller, it IS a little bit cramped. Other customers kept bumping into my chair. Also, there are less menu items Service is ok. They have complimentary fresh bread & butter. Your food can take a while to get out, though. The smart thing for them to do is bring out more bread while we wait... but they don't. They DO apologize for the food taking a while though. I've had the impossible burger here 3 times "can i please get the impossible burger with fries." The first time it was delicious and juicy. Fries were fresh. The second time... the burger was overcooked & dry. I had to use a lot of condiments to help it out. The fries were stale. 3rd time it was like they squished 3 patties into 1 giant patty & had cheese . Each time seems inconsistent. So the reason for the 3 stars: I just wish there was more of a consistency with the food. When food takes a while to come out, servers should follow up with the customers & even ask if they want more bread while waiting. Little things make a difference. The food and service are both awesome consistently. I dine at this Oxnard location, do curbside pickup and order with a delivery service multiple times a week and it's always great. I'm not sure what the bad reviewers are talking about. I can name at least 3 of the waitress/waiters that have been amazing to us. Reena is awesome! Roger and Sal are so great too. We've ordered from the kids menu, multiple entrees, drinks and desserts and they have always been on point. We were so glad that this location opened up so close to our Riverpark area. We've tried so many Cheesecake Factories from Las Vegas to all over California and this is one of the best ones! If I can change one thing, it would be if they could expand it to serve a larger amount of people :) read more

We went here to celebrate our daughter's birthday. This is the closest location to us, an hour & 40 minute drive. It's a chain restaurant, we have come to love and expect the experience and food to be the same at every location. Well we were happy with our food. Our server was nice, but just missed the mark. We had to ask other wait staff for various items and for service. We love the food, but wish the waitstaff was a little more on top of it. The restaurant wasn't that busy, it was later in the evening and the dinner rush was over, no excuses. We were super patient, but it made our dinner drag on far too long. Went to CCF for Sunday dinner & enjoyed our food until our waitress (Karie, Kelly, prob Karen a blond Caucasian woman too old to be wearing pigtails) made a scene in front of us & other patrons by yelling out that she couldn't serve our 26 yo nephew wine because he had no documentation proving that he was legally in this country. Before her embarrassing and appalling outburst, she tried to explain that she & the restaurant could not legally serve alcohol without proper identification, which we clearly understood. Our nephew only had his tourist visa on him in that moment as he had left his passport at our home. She must have been having a rough day or annoyed that we earlier interrupted her asinine conversation about green hair dye with the table across from us, because she kept rambling on that without documentation like a U.S. passport or drivers license, she couldn't accept any other form of identification that our nephew had. I don't think she appreciated that we pointed out that he is a tourist & why would he therefore have a U.S. drivers license or U.S. passport. At this point her tone was very pointed & was insinuating that our nephew was here illegally. She must have noticed that she was digging herself into a deeper hole & went to grab an on duty manager, whom by the way was no better at understanding the situation and kept reiterating what our pigtailed Karen could not articulate. This "manager" nonchalantly brushed us off as if we were merely complaining about a cold dish. We weren't going to sit there and go back and forth with her because it seemed pointless. We weren't even upset about the wine, but about the way we were just ridiculed and made to seem less than by someone who is supposed to provide customer service. Ten minutes to go by and Karen with the pigtails makes it a point to discuss the situation that had just happened with the waitress she had temporarily covered (whom was also rude towards us when we first sat down) and in plain view of us. She made an already uncomfortable awkward situation that we were trying to get away from even worse. Our 1st rude waitress took her sweet time in bringing us our check & returning with our change. Too add insult to injury, she sarcastically wished us a good night in Spanish as to mock us. Sad to say we will not be returning to Cheesecake Factory and will let everyone we know that "illegals" will not be served alcohol at this establishment. read more

They have a great selection of food my favorites are the bar burger stiffed mushrooms and the shrimp dish portions are huge and we have to share . We are all trying to get the most for our money . Went there last night for dinner . We got sat outside. Our server came to introduce himself got our drink order. Then not even 10 minutes in he asked if "Jennifer" came over to introduce herself since he was leaving for the night, we said no because she didn't . She came over and just asked are we ready to order ... she didn't introduced herself nothing . We have her the order and proceeded to wait. When our order finally came and the runner dropped off our plates I was waiting to be asked " did you need anything else?" Again nothing . I always order the spicy chicken chipotle pasta and 100% of the time (except this one) they ask if I would want Parmesan, 100% of the time I say yes please. Not here. Keep in mind my pasta was getting cold due to them sitting us outside I was waiting for the server to stop by and ask if everything is ok and or if we needed anything. As a server should ... I was getting upset (mind you I'm 8 months pregnant I'm starving) Finally she stops by I ask her if I could get Parmesan since it wasn't offered she didnt seem sympathetic or anything. Okay? I mean what happened to the customer service. Then I had finished my Shirley temple and had my cup out on the edge of the table so she could see it was empty she passed by it twice and didn't offer to refill it or anything. I had to flag her down and ask her for a refill I was over her and my experience here so I asked for the check and a Togo box. We paid . We left As were walking out we clearly passed by her and she didn't even say "have a good night/thank you have a good evening " nothing... We are here for the first time on Mother's Day. When we put our name on the list they said it would be up to 45 mins but it was only a 15 min wait. Our waiter sal was really fast and kept checking on us. Food was pretty good and large portions. My daughter especially liked the strawberries with whip cream. read more

This place has improved, with better food and service than in the beginning. The wait staff is very attentive. This place has a fun vibe when it's busy, which is often. We come her a lot for late-night dining. We love their seared ahi. The fish portion on the dish is small, but the flavor is amazing. The rice on that dish is special. I also enjoy the miso salmon as well as the fish and chips. The fish and chips include crispy pieces of high-quality fish. The chips were crisp. The tarter sauce is tasty. My wife enjoys the skinilicious grilled salmon with mixed veggies. My son loves the Smokehouse BBQ Burger. We are addicted to the stuffed mushrooms. We save bread to sop up every drop of that incredible sauce that comes with the shrooms. read more

I'm giving Cheesecake Factory 5 stars because of the amazing food. No matter what, I always leave satisfied. We stopped by for lunch and drinks on Saturday after a long morning of shopping. It didn't seem as busy as I had seen it, and we were able to get a booth in the bar area. Bartender was our server. He was very friendly and attentive. Hostess booth is 50/50 on the level of service you receive (as noted per other reviews), and I was pleasantly surprised they were better in greeting us this time compared to previous visits. I always love the complimentary warm bread (sourdough yuuuum) and cesar salad. You can't go wrong with their avocado eggrolls and fettuccine alfredo as well. Prices are average/higher than average but when food is good it's worth it. Although we didn't get cheesecake this time (so many leftovers at home from Thanksgiving), we love the coconut creme cheesecake and raspberry white chocolate.
