    Fresh Banana Cream Cheesecake

This was a quick visit to pick up dessert -- Key Lime and Fresh Banana Cream cheesecakes. It was busy when we arrived, which is typical of CF locations. The bakery seemed smaller but still had a nice selection. The restaurant was very clean. The team member who helped us was courteous and friendly. Our order was ready at the expected time and accurate. We can always count on the consistency in the taste of their cheesecakes. Presentation however often varies. Our order today was neatly packed and still looked great when we had it at home. Both were delicious!

I always love to visit the Cheesecake Factory for the best Long Island Ice Tea. We tried some different appetizers and they were delicious with the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls as our new favorite. The service was great and we also enjoyed the discount in using the Cheesecake Rewards App.

Tried out the fried Chicken Pot Stickers on the HH menu, under 500 calories so I wouldn't feel so guilty about ordering the cheesecake after! The Chicken Pot Stickers are really tasty! Loads of flavor! This place is always so clean and the staff is so friendly. They do make a point of paying just the right amount of attention to all guests.

Don't sleep on the Cheesecake Factory! With over 250 items on their menu, so many options can feel overwhelming, but once you find your favorite dish, you will return. Today I was able to try the new katsu bowl. The powers that be at The Cheesecake Factory are definitely keeping up with the trends. This was fresh and light except for the rice but what is a bowl without rice?! Everyone is always friendly and today wasn't super busy, but the Christmas crowd was definitely rolling in by the time we left. As always, they offered me the cheesecake menu, but I politely declined as I was stuffed from our lunch!

The Cheesecake Factory at The Collection is one of many restaurants this side of Oxnard has to offer. Great service & yummy food. Plenty of parking & also a parking garage. Paid Metered parking right in front is also available... You can choose either Indoor or Outdoor seating. If you are a rewards member, you can make online reservations. Love the variety of food options. So many menu items, that it makes it difficult to choose. Not to mention an extensive cheesecake menu. Omg lots of cheesecake. Will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. Pretty chill place. Last few visits, service has been great. Shoutout to Ricardo, Leilani & Danni who we have had the pleasure of having. Keep up the Great Service! :D

I called on the phone about splitting up a whole cheesecake and was told something else when we got there. I asked to to talk with the manager and Tara came and talked with us for a few minutes. She was super nice and told what the policy was and gave us an alternative that we were very pleased with. Thank you Tara! James & Sophia

Just want to give a s/o to The Cheesecake Factory at The Collection in Oxnard. I highly recommend! 10/10 experience. We celebrated my daughter's 14th birthday there on Saturday along with 10 of her best friends. The entire staff was very attentive and kind - from the hostess, busboy, waiter and manager. They were patient with the girls and really catered to them. The food was delicious! Everything came out in a timely manner & tasted great. We were nice and cozy outside with heaters too. My daughter was overjoyed and they truly made her birthday dinner a sweet success!

After a long and challenging day, my daughter and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner at The Cheesecake Factory--and we couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment we sat down, everything exceeded expectations. We both ordered the Miso Salmon, and it was absolutely exceptional--flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. We also shared a few appetizers: the Fried Zucchini, Brussels Sprouts, Buffalo Blasts, and Buffalo Chicken Tenders. Every single dish was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. What truly made the experience stand out, though, was our server Allison. She was the perfect person to help us end the day on a high note. Her energy was uplifting, and she struck that rare balance of being professional, attentive, and genuinely engaging. We even shared a few laughs throughout the meal, which made it all the more memorable. Thank you, Cheesecake Factory, for a fantastic dining experience--and a special shoutout to Allison for helping turn our day around.

Returned visit for another burger with sweet potato fries and some cheesecake this time! We sat in the patio again which had the heaters on. Our waitress was friendly and provided great service. I ordered the classic burger and added cheddar cheese. I also got a slice of pumpkin cheesecake. The burger was cooked medium-well as requested and the fries had such great flavor that I quickly finished them first! Don't skip out on getting that grilled onion on the burger if you like onions. It really added to the flavor of the burger and garlic flavoring. Cheesecake was everything I expected at then some. Usually I experience either over flavoring with pumpkin spice or not enough flavoring and this cheesecake is perfection.

Service was average at best. Very busy very noisy. I had the Korean BbQ chicken. Don't necessarily recommend it. Very similar to Chinese orange chicken. Very ordinary meal. My wife had the chicken piccata. She liked it. Good luck.

Been a minute, my usual stop was CCF in Marina Del Rey... Here in Oxnard it's Thursday early evening and not very many people here to eat. Hum...we took a four top out on the patio, todays weather was very pleasant. Our server was right out and we ordered drinks, water for M and I was brave and got the mint iced tea. The CCF menu is still thick, everything and nearly anything one would hope to enjoy. We decided to go to the lighter side of options, they have a separate menu for that too and after much deliberation we settled on a share. Ginger Chicken with quinoa and a diced veggie component for M and I chose the Cobb Salad with a house dressing. The chicken part was somewhat lite I thought. A Couple of side plates and we're eating half n' half, which worked out well. Food was good, nothing amazing but a good value, served up hot and fresh in a timely manner. The service was excellent we had a pro working this section, checking in on us and her other tables when needed. Veteran timing. With the plates cleared and another three hours home, M decided sugar and caffeine was a good idea. I seconded the motion and a double espresso with a nice size slice of raspberry cheesecake followed. There are more dessert selections than Dollie and Betty could have ever made, delicious too. We needed two dollie's to wheel us out to the car but nonetheless we were awake. Safely home now. thanks for joining us. foodguy-Martin ginger chicken with quinoa cobb salad

We came here for a quick lunch and it was delicious. The lady was very nice. It was not very busy. It was about 3 o'clock. It was perfect timing. My mom also had a passionfruit margarita and it was delicious. The only thing is that it has became very expensive. It was about $70 for two people.

I had an amazing experience today! Michelle S. was my server and was all smiles and so pleasant. I ordered the housemade meatballs and I highly recommend! They hit the nail on the head and I devoured them (along with the table bread and butter of course haha). The place was poppin' at 3PM and was a fun vibe.

I was merely a road-battered pilgrim, six hours removed from Oakland, washed ashore near the freeway at the velvet fringe of Ventura County, in that glossy new development called The Collection, where every building looks as though it was approved by a committee whose mission statement was: Let there be ambient lighting and retail optimism. My dinner choices arrived like mildly desperate contestants in a televised pageant. Cheesecake Factory told me the wait would be twenty-five minutes and that they would text me. Reader, I assume that text is now trapped in a ravine somewhere, being nursed back to health by quail. Then there was some steak place whose name dissolved from memory before I finished looking at it. So into Lazy Dog I wandered, hungry, tired, spiritually fragile, and very open to persuasion. And I have to admit: the place has a certain charm. From the back at night, Lazy Dog is weirdly enchanting. The warm lights, the patio glow, the bottles shining through the bar, the whole thing looks like a lodge designed by someone who wanted to seduce exhausted motorists into believing life is still full of promise. Yet the actual entrance is oddly easy to miss. The restaurant is basically playing hard to get. A chain restaurant with mystery. A flirt. A woodland princess in practical shoes. Inside, the vibe is part upscale sports bar, part polished suburban den, part "let's make everyone from picky teenagers to diet-conscious moms to semi-hungover road warriors feel included." Buffalo Wild Wings, but after therapy, better lighting, and a semester abroad. The seating is not what I would call voluptuous. You are not sinking into a cloud of velvet mercy here. But the room is lively, social, and good-humored. It hums in that specific modern way that says yes, you may order tacos, noodles, a burger, or a cocktail with fruit in it, and no one will judge your lack of culinary allegiance. The cocktail situation was fun. I had the raspberry sangria, which tasted less like old-world wine-country sophistication and more like Hawaiian Punch got hired by a vineyard. It was bright, sweet, cheerful, and only slightly ridiculous. A prom queen in a stemmed glass. I did not hate it. I also did not see God. 3/5. Service was reliable, friendly, and sincere, which in today's dead-eyed hospitality landscape feels almost mystical. No fake grandeur, no attitude, no emotional frostbite. Just kind, competent people doing their jobs without making me feel like an interruption in their evening. That deserves respect. The menu is broad enough to make you nervous. Burgers, Italian-ish things, Thai-ish things, tacos, bowls, pizza, noodles, probably a diplomatic treaty if you ask politely. Usually a menu this sprawling suggests culinary panic. But Lazy Dog somehow lands on the right side of chaos. Not transcendent, not revolutionary, but steady in a way that is more useful than many trendier places would like to admit. The fried hard-boiled deviled eggs were the surprise star. In theory, this is the kind of appetizer that sounds like America whispering, "What if we made the picnic more reckless?" In practice: very good. Crispy outside, creamy inside, faintly absurd, and impossible not to admire. 4.5/5. The shrimp tacos were also solid. Bright, fresh, avocado doing its usual California diplomacy, pickled onions bringing color and sass, and the whole plate looking just photogenic enough to make younger foodie civilians feel seen by the algorithm. 4.3/5. The shrimp Thai noodles were decent too. Not an oracle, not a revelation, not the kind of dish that makes monks ring bells in the mountains, but flavorful and more than respectable after a long drive. 3.8/5. That may be Lazy Dog's real strength. It is not trying to be a sacred culinary temple guarded by tattooed sommeliers and fermented foams. It is trying to be open late, fun, dependable, and welcoming enough to make a tired traveler feel the night still has one last good chapter in it. And after six hours in the car, that is not nothing. That is grace with parking. So no, this is not the hidden gastronomic throne of Oxnard. But it is a lively, late-night, good-energy landing pad with charming exterior glow, sincere service, fun drinks, and better food than a cynic might expect. Would I come back? Absolutely. Mostly because Lazy Dog fed me, comforted me, and acknowledged the passage of time, which is more than I can say for Cheesecake Factory. Also, points for being open until midnight, because some places close early as if adulthood itself should have a curfew. Lazy Dog, by contrast, understands the nocturnal needs of the weary, the under-caffeinated, the gossip-prone, and the mildly glamorized freeway drifter still chasing one last decent meal before surrendering to hotel-sheet oblivion.

The day before, the owner Michele couldn't seem to find the paperwork where we discussed menu, family style, decor, budget etc. Thankfully, we went in the day before to double check everything. Not only were we met with a misogynistic retort to everything we talked about but he did not clarify any details that we later found out would be important. The day of the event, we accidentally hit a bottle of wine bringing in the decorations. Total accident! During the party, we had to constantly find our server (super nice guy but terrible service) to take drink orders, to take food orders, and to clear the table and bring to go boxes. Drinks weren't refilled. We cut and served the cake we brought. Then our bill comes and surprising to us, we were charged a room fee (which I confirmed they DID NOT have prior to booking), charged a cake fee (just for them to store it in their fridge and NEVER told there would be a fee for bringing a dessert, despite Michele asking the day before if we were bringing our own or using them for dessert), and he charged us $50 for the bottle we accidentally broke. With all these extra charges, in addition to already paying a deposit, we were way over the previously discussed budget. I never would have agreed to his idea of everyone ordering individual dishes instead of family style plus his outrageous extra fees had I know it was going to blow the budget. He had every opportunity to tell us there is a cake fee (never have I EVER had to pay a fee to bring a cake- even our server said he felt it was in poor taste to charge us for that). We refused to pay the room fee because we already put down a deposit and were never told there would be these extraneous charges! The terrible ending happened when I slipped and fell (8 months pregnant) in the front of the restaurant RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE OWNER, who stood over me as I was on the ground, and said "you must have slipped on the wine you spilled." Never offered concern, never offered to help me and never apologized. A staff member from the kitchen ran out to help me despite Michel being an arms length from me, looking down on me. Such a disgrace. My dress was dirtied from their floor and I was left with bruises on my knees the next day. No wet floor sign, clearly the floor wasn't cleaned up properly or dried. We will never patronize this restaurant again. What was meant to be a beautiful event turned into a calamity met with a chauvinist owner who lacks customer service and compassion.

She didn't check in on us and we needed to ask the busboy for water as well. He was wonderful and friendly. The restaurant itself is nice. Great view of the marina however service needs work. Additionally, some food is premade as some dishes were out in like 5 minutes and my friend's Alfredo with grilled chicken took way longer to come out. We all waited to eat until she got her food as we all wanted to have dinner together as a friend date. We all wanted to ate together! My dish was a shrimp pesto pasta which was $35. Def more expensive than other restaurants but a huge portion. I didn't order any cocktails. I would come back and see if improved at a later date. It's fam owned, so check it out and see what you think.
