Great drinks! This place was right in tyhe strip near the beach and it offered a unique selection of drinks and presented them in cool scientific ways such as the use of beakers and flasks for glasses as well as the use of dry ice to make smoking effects in the drinks. The all around set up of this place was unique and what caught my eye as a tourist. I ordered the Flux Capacitator which came in a beaker with green silicone ice cubes. It's was very tasty! On our first night in Myrtle Beach, I took my wife and kids to eat dinner here. First off, the hostess was very nice and accommodating. The kids were very pleased as they had chicken fingers and grilled cheese sandwiches with fries, the typical kid fare. As for the Mrs. and I, we started off with the Bondfire Shrimp, which was an excellent choice. The shrimps were very light and fresh and cooked perfectly. For entrees she had a medium Wagyu Sirloin and I had the Sriracha Chicken sandwich with sweet potato tots. Everything was awesome, food was very good. The only thing keeping me from giving this establishment a 5 star review is that the seats were extremely uncomfortable. They are made of metal and have no cushions on them or any back support. I felt as if I was going to fall backwards in the chair. Other than that, the food was very good, the drinks were also good. We shared the Flux Capacitor. read more

Myrtle Beach is middle class with middle class taste and that's ok! I'm middle class and love a great burger, shrimp and grits and crab legs...but I do not expect to eat a twelve course meal in a tux, Anywhere here! So if you want to eat somewhere that is above average in taste and imaginative in sea food presentation, and see a lot of cool old chemistry glass-ware, check this place out. Probably the most unique experience in Myrtle Beach! Went for dinner and drinks and the dinner didn't disappoint however the "craft" draft list was lacking with most of the list being IPA's and Sours... really only 1 lager, 1 red and that was the list. For sure lacking in the beer department but most come for the unique mixed drinks in beakers with dry ice in them, neat concept but i'm ok with beer. However the food was amazing, from the appetizers of seared scallops and sweet potato tater tots to the main courses of Pork Belly, smoked salmon and ahi tuna. All very well prepared and accompanied by some great sides (risotto and Asian noodles with Bok choy). The dessert was fantastic, mango panna cotta as well as peanut butter truffles didn't disappoint! Super cool theme bar for the cooler-than-average science nerd with awesome drinks. We LOVED the Flux Capacitor - definitely one of the top 5 mixed drinks I have ever had. We only had appetizers but the fried shrimp bondfire was great. My husband and I are both beer-wine people and rarely drink liquor. We both got two drinks here because they were so intreging and we were not disappointed! We would definitely come back for drinks next time we're in town! read more

Just what Myrtle Beach needed. A trendy, hip place where you can escape the plethora of fried crap and buffet garbage. Doesn't seem to fit in this city but I hope they continue to do well. Ordered the smoked trout over bamboo rice which was delicious. The shepherds pie was personalized with jalapeño cornbread and a creamy gravy over the top. When searching yelp for a more hipster kind of place this one came up. Nitrogen cocktails and cocktails on draft seem to be very in right now (or at least they are in SC HAHA). This is a small, repeat small restaurant. I highly recommend getting a reservation. However if you walk in as we did they will accommodate you as fast as they can and the employees here are the shining stars. They were all really nice and did their jobs well and fast. I did try one of their cocktails, the Professors Punch (one of their draft cocktails). I honestly wasn't all that impressed with it, pretty watery and lacking flavor. My friends got different drinks and they said theirs were good though. The nitrogen bubbling under the martinis was fun! The food here is a win in my opinion. We tried the spring rolls and tempura vegetables, as starters. Both were really good, and I had the chicken club. I know they tout themselves as having a modern menu, but ehh it's not very modern really. What it is though, is good! In the end what more can you ask for but good food . read more

So going to experience a fun bar is worth the trip. HOWEVER, the food is mediocre at best. Lamb was so fatty that it was really not eatable. Risotto was cold. Trout and rice were bland and definitely needed seasoning. Wine offering was poor and odd tasting. Overall definitely not worth the expense. Me and my friends had a great time at this restaurant. It's different than anywhere else we've ever been. And the atmosphere is really cool. But it gets three stars because the portions were so incredibly small we had to cook when we got home because we were still hungry. After reading the reviews on here, we decided to check this place out last weekend. The drinks looked awesome from Yelp pictures and the extensive specialty drink menu was enticing. We arrived about 2pm on Sunday, with maybe 6-8 other people at the bar. Not busy at all. We were told because it was the country music festival, they only had 3 specialty cocktails. All the unique looking drinks on here were not served or even an option (we asked and were told they could only make the 3 cocktails). So my fiancé and I ordered 2 out of the 3 specialty drinks available. His drink was in a cheap, clear plastic disposable cup, loaded with ice and what tasted like straight liquor. Mine tasted like cheap lemonade, with maybe a splash of alcohol. There couldn't have been more than 4 ounces of the drink in either of ours. Both drinks $8. This was the poorest presentation and waste of money. Moral of the story, don't come on a weekend when there's something going on in myrtle beach. They'll get rid of their chemistry themed drinks and give you what we got. read more

Great find! The drinks were creative and as all syrups are made from scratch the higher price is justified. They even made unique non-alcoholic drinks for my daughter. Food was great as well, unique flavors and priced well for the quality. If you want a break from standard beach fair, but not the overpriced "fine" dining this is the place.
