On Ubereats had a great Hannukah menu. Ordered the latke and the honey pulled sandwich and was truly amazing. The chocolate cake was decadent and truly worth every bite! I will definitely order from here again. read more

My experience in this place was a disaster from hell. I noticed coming in the back part of the restaurant that they put their meat on the FLOOR in a plastic container before bringing it into the kitchen. I mentioned something to the assistant cook who became upset i asked about it, and then ran at me giving me a body check, then yelling at me to get off "his" property even though it is owned by the Government of Ontario !!!!!!! I went inside to speak to the owner but he never returned my call. I reported this incident to the city of Toronto inspector who basically did nothing about it. She went by and didn't inspect the area where they leave meat on the floor. Management is not pleasant to deal with, food is expensive and portions are small. I would pray before going in there. The Chicken Nest - This is the way this restaurant leaves it's meat before YOU EAT IT !!!! - Chicken Wings Near Me - North York, Ontario

I went out with a small group, to this restaurant. it's called the chicken nest because it primarily specializes in all kinds of chicken dishes. Some of the group ordered salad with chicken, and I ordered only vegetarian food, as I'm doing a special diet temporarily. The waitress was very attentive to make sure that the order was exactly what I wanted. She went back and forth to the kitchen a number of times, to check what they had and what they could build for me as a fully vegetarian, low carb option. You can see the photos attached the salad and cooked vegetables were amazing. In addition, I tasted the chicken salad and it was excellent. I have eaten here before and all the chicken options are great. Definitely worth the visit. read more

Just received my 3rd order this past Friday. I ordered Menu 1 and 2 on the Shabbat meals and everything was absolutely delicious. I just love honey garlic chicken wings but nothing in the past compares to the taste at The Chicken Nest. Next time I'm going to order a meal of them not just an appetizer. This is my favourite go-to Kosher spot near Bathurst and Lawrence in Toronto. The food is consistently delicious. They have a large varied menu. Try the soft tacos, crispy chicken sandwich, or smoked meat sandwich. read more

Passable, but incredibly overpriced. $18.95 for a half roasted chicken, which was no better or worse than a grocery store bird (or Swiss Chalet, for that matter.) We gave it a try for take out as it's in our neighborhood and we're always looking for something to try, but we won't likely order again. Not great value. Okay food, but horrifying service. TL:DR food isn't bad, manager told wife and baby to wait outside in the rain, then denied it. My wife went there the other day and was told hat there was absolutely no room in the restaurant for her small fold up stroller. The manager told her she must wait elsewhere, and when she said it is raining outside, he said "I cannot have your baby's stroller in here". He sent my wife and 2 month old baby to wait in the pouring rain while his restaurant was semi full. My wife's friends came about 5 minutes later to her rescue and put the stroller in their car, and then come back for the table my wife was sitting at. The manager pretended like he didn't recognize my wife from a few minutes prior and said there were no available tables for 45 minutes. When I called the next morning to complain, he called me a liar and said my wife must have misheard everything. He further lied saying her friends told him how amazing he was and that he would never kick a baby out onto the street. When I asked him what he suggested to my wife then, all he answered was "not how she remembers it". instead of apologizing, he called us liars. read more

Horrible. The portions were small for the price. $22 for schnitzel with vegetables, and I got a medium sized processed piece of chicken... pathetic and definitely not competitive. I also ordered the Chichen Nest Sub, which was advertised as 'piled high' for the price of $20. What I got was basically meat free, and amounted to $20 of a cibatta bun with fries. I also ordered their 'world famous chicken soup'... let me tell you... the base tastes store-bought... with a few scraps of chicken for authenticity. Definitely NOT worth the $8.50 they are charging. Had the pulled chicken with onions, it was amazing. I have been to the kosher Subway in America and Chicken Nest's pulled chicken with onions tastes just like Subways. I ordered some wings on the side, was very disappointed though. For five very little wings with next to no meat on them i was changed $7. I would go back to Chicken Nest but left with a bad feeling over the wings portion and price. read more
