1st, it took 3 appointments for them to show up; 2nd, when they shown up, the contractor did not even go into the building when he arrived. Instead, he got information via the phone while he was on site (why not just do that before going to the site to save some time?); 3rd, after all these, the contractor failed to show up again on the next time he promised to return. If I could give 0 stars I would. Two young kids come and left both bathrooms absolutely destroyed while not even fixing the problem - telling us they will be "sending out a different" team but never coming again or communicating us with updates. I wish I could upload the pictures we took of the bathrooms afterwards to show how terrible it was. Not only was a it a health issue to leave sewage in our showers and tub but it was the worst service I have ever experienced. We have a newborn baby and had to spend hours bleaching and cleaning up the bathrooms after they left. Terrible. read more

As a woman who has to hire service providers all the time, I am very careful about "guys" that want your money but don't do quality work. Also I can't stand condescending jerks. -- I needed a plumber for a drain leak catastrophe and Axel has so far been very professional. Work area is clean and his people are so far respectful. Had a bathroom toilet back up over the weekend a while back. I was able to avoid weekend service and Axel and his tech came out first thing Monday morning. Very convenient and much appreciated. While he was quickly able to get my toilet moving again, I asked him to take a look at my sink and shower drains which had been moving slow. They were able to accommodate the additional request and got them rodded out and flowing better as well. About six weeks later, Axel was in my building taking care of maintenance items and I mentioned that my shower had been draining slowly again. He came in no questions and used an air hammer machine after he found no blockage rodding it out. Hopefully I'll be good for awhile. Axel provided a recommendation for a next step should I have a problem in the future. In this time of COVID-19, his whole team wore masks and did there best to socially distance. I'm still new to Axel but happy with my service thus far. I feel very safe having him (and his team) in my home and will continue using his services. read more

Axel was so awesome! He replied to my request for a quote within minutes and was able to come out the very next day. He was super responsive and easy to work with which is soooo appreciated. It was also him personally that I talked to and not a dispatcher or secretary. He came and checked out my leaky fridge and washing machine and new what the problem was and that it WASNT actually a plumbing problem, but a problem with the appliances itself. My bathtub was leaking into the unit below where we couldn't see. A plumber suggested by my buildings management company had come out and quoted the job for $1500. Said the entire waste and overflow in the tub needed to be replaced. I called Axellent for a second opinion because my building is less than 10 years old and couldn't believe that needed replacement. Axel looked at the issue and within 5 minutes said he could fix it for WAY cheaper. No replacement needed. I ended up saving a ridiculous amount of money and the issue was fixed. He tried to schedule an appointment at 930-1030, I said I couldn't make it till 1130, so he shows up at 1045. Inspects my bathroom for a sewer gas smell, at the time it did not smell since it would come and go, offers no suggestions on what to do next, seemed to be in a rush to get to his next appointment since I couldn't get there till when we scheduled it. I give him a call to schedule a new appointment to get the wall opened up to check on a leaking pipe to see if maybe that's where it is coming from. He texts me an hour before the appointment that day telling me he can't make it and I should find someone else, didn't even try to reschedule. I guess the smaller jobs aren't worth his time. read more
