This review is for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location in Terminal 3 of the Las Vegas Airport. I come into this location very early in the morning. I wasn't sure if they were open or not. I asked the African American barista if they were open and her response was the lights are on. I was quite taken back by her response. I should have just left, but I still purchased a Latte and left them a tip. I would not recommend this location just because of this employee's lousy attitude. If you don't like your job find another one. read more

A perfect morning stop at the LAS airport. I grabbed two 16oz Vietnamese cold brews and they were so good. Smooth but strong! My partner enjoyed his drink very much as well. Shoutout to Kenyetta for her friendly service during the morning rush. Highly recommend if you need a great caffeine fix before boarding. read more

Coffee Bean is usually one of my go to spots when I'm on the road. I just need to grab something and I'm not in the mood for Starbucks. Usually coffee is pretty good. This one at the airport coffee was fine. Nothing special, but it wasn't racked or anything. I think issue is the service. I don't think he could find more unfriendly staff at a coffee place. I get it. It might not be an exciting day, but you don't have to be rude, not make eye contact and basically like I'm bothering you when I'm ordering most simple drink. I ordered a chai tea with almond milk, and it was excellent. They were happy to steep it a little longer, which made the chai wonderfully flavorful and not watered down like you sometimes get in airports. I also grabbed a spinach feta egg white wrap, and they heated it up perfectly--it was fresh, warm, and really tasty. Friendly service and quality food and drinks made this a standout airport stop. Great customer service! The crew working seemed to be a little older (seasoned baristas) and they were friendly and efficient. The coffee Bean product is always on point. This is a quick and easy stop to address your coffee or frozen drink needs. I will say, we tried the plant-based, Lenny & Larry's cookie, more out of curiosity, and they unfortunately taste exactly how you might expect. It was a combination of MET-RX bar meets Tiger's Milk bar, which is not what you want out of a cookie. The majority of the cookie ended up in the trash. #PASS read more

I have NEVER been treated with more disrespect and attitude by a service worker than i have today October 30th. As someone who has done 10+ years of customer service work and is a barista herself i am SHOCKED and disappointed in how i was treated. I stopped by this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on my way to my gate here in Terminal 3 and was looking to get an Iced Tea before my flight, as i'm sure many people do. It is roughly 6:45 am and i'm sure we're all very tired but that does not excuse the staffs behavior. I walk up to the counter and notice there are two types of tea : Cold brew tea and signature tea. I wanted to know the difference so i ask (my coffee shop does not offer "cold brew tea"). I'm hit with an immediate tone of disgust that screamed why would you ask that. I get a short response "one is more caffeinated". I proceed to ask what is in the Hibiscus Sunrise Drink listed in the Cold Brew Tea section of the menu. i am cut off and practically yelled at that it is a lemonade. I was more concerned about the flavors of the "sunrise". All the while the worker is rolling her eyes and looking impatiently at me (there was no one else in line behind me) I proceeded to be a bit lighthearted and ask why a lemonade is listed under Cold brew Tea she responds "It just is" very hastily. Afraid to be snapped at again i don't ask any other questions, i settle on the Peach Jasmine cold brew tea, pay, and walk to wait for my drink. I'm not even fully in-front of the waiting area for my drink and the cashier walked over to the guy on bar and complains that "everyone has an attitude this morning" and proceeds to point at me. Continues to complain LOUDLY while i'm not even 10 ft away and say things like "it's not that hard to read the board" "she has no much attitude" and uttering more words of how stupid i am. the other two workers stare at me. I receive my drink, grab a straw and walk off. All three proceed to yell rude comments at me me as i walk away about how i had so much attitude which is just utterly insane to talk to a PAYING CUSTOMER like that and to talk about a customer like that when they are right there. Never in my life have I treated a customer like that or been treated like that. There was no good morning, no smiles, and the drink was most definitely not worth $8. This was ridiculous. read more

It's been awhile since I've been to a CBTL since I moved out of LA, so it was nice to have one at the Las Vegas Airport. The service sucked, but what do I care? I'm here for my large caramel laden drink, not for smiles. I will say though, really think before you get that drink if you're about to hop onto a plane and you have stuff to carry. I had a carryon and a backpack and I had to hold out my phone which had my boarding pass and I had to hold my drinnk. Getting onto the plane, I needed help, asking someone to hold my drink as I put my bag in the overhead bin, put my bag under the seat, put my seatbelt on, and wiped everything with an antibacterial cloth and even I knew I was being completely annoying. Not CBTL's fault, but my recommendation is don't get something that will tip over easily if you put it down if you have your hands full loading onto a plane. read more

Lady at the counter was so rude and loud. Yelled in everyones face about their order. Took 20 minutes for me to get an overpriced mango cold brew tea. Waited 10 minutes in line with 5 people in front of me. Waited another 10 minutes to get my drink. At the 10 minute mark finally saw the employee START to pour my drink. Literally like 3 ingredients and it takes you that long to mix them together. Tea itself is alright, better than starbucks which is the only other option around here. The service is awful! One of the staff is very, very rude. The cashier charged me 2 times for a cup of coffee. After I left, my wallet app informed me that I was charged twice. I went back and I asked why I was charged twice. One of the staff answered it will correct itself bec my card declined the first time. I asked if she was sure and this server (see pic) looked at me and in a very rude manner said, you can call corporate and complain to them if you don't believe me! We arrived at the Harry Reid International AirPort in Las Vegas yesterday at 7 am bleary eyed and sleepy and in desperate need of a nice strong cup of coffee. We got into the long line in front of The Coffee Bean. The line moved swiftly and as we approached the front we could hear each customer being greeted with "How are you today beautiful people?" All the while in the background we were hearing an energetic: "Double latte for Alissa!" We met Juan who was friendly, funny and just a sweetheart of a guy. His disposition made me feel better even before I got my double cappuccino which he called my "bougie" drink. He and my husband had a good laugh. We found out that the ball of energy (at 7am) was Brian. Juan and Brian are a dynamic duo. Great customer service, great coffee! Thank you guys! read more

If I could give them minus stars, I would! They have the WORST customer service ever! Went there on Christmas Day before our flight. There was no one else in line. I walked closer to the checkout where the person at the register asked what I wanted to order. I said I was still looking at the menu options, and she turned to a co-worker and said, "if you're not ready to order then why are you up here?" Well, because I couldn't see the menu very well, and needed to get closer! Wow, they need to train their staff to treat their customers better. read more

Good morning! I got my early morning coffee fix with a hot cup of mocha and a cheese danish at the airport. Of course it's a bit more pricey at $12 for a regular (small) mocha and a danish and they were both delicious. There were approximately 5 people in line so it was not too busy at 7am. However, they did forgot about my danish so I stood there awhile just watching other people who ordered after me come and go with their orders. After awhile I inquired about my danish in which Rain got it for me. It was cold and it was suppose to be heated up and warmed. I didn't say anything since she didn't seem to care nor ask if I want it hot or cold, while the cashier previously asked if I want it warm and I did say yes, I'd like it warm. So I ate a cold danish. No apology or any offer to reconcile. My mocha was too sweet so I asked if they could add more coffee to dilute it, which she added a bit more coffee. Again, no smile or any question or concern if it was to my satisfaction. It was mostly chocolate and not much coffee, if any. Isn't a mocha latte half coffee & half hot chocolate? It tasted more like 99% hot chocolate lol I do love this company though and always had good experience in the past so I'll give them another chance someday read more

Could be better. Drink was made wrong. Employee argued when brought to their attention. Employee relented and remade the drink but still not well. Overall not an amazing experience. Will not be back. Employees need retraining on how to make drinks correctly and to fix their attitude. This was my worst service/experience in a coffee shop, they have the worst employee attitude. They don't label the coffee hence I asked what coffee is it to the guy. Your opening staff this morning, 8/1/24. Were very rude. Not to me but to another customer. They ordered their drinks before me, and my drink was dropped off first but no announcement made. So the gentleman asked if the drink was his and your staff snippishly reacted speaking to him like he was incompetent, mind you they never announced the order or what the drink was, just thought I'd share and warn people flying in the morning, the morning staff are in fact not morning people. If I could give a negative star review it would be -10, the worst service I have ever received in any coffee shop. There was no line, 2 employees working so no rush. Ordered 3 drinks and 1 was okay, the other two really bad, the employee had the longest nails possible and was struggling to make 2 blended drinks, one was super watery was definitely not a blended drink, then she struggled to make a strawberry smoothie, she had to redo it and it still looked like blended milk, then 3 employees walk back probably from their break and the lady making my drinks just walked away with attitude and did not finish my drinks. So of course I said wait a minute she can't even finish my drinks and the manager with extremely bad customer service said she needs a break and someone else will finish your drink, I said are you serious she just needed to put a lid and add whip cream. The manager yelling said someone will finish your drink while walking away. Again no line no rush. The strawberry smoothie was horrible it was blended milk. So I had them redo for the 3 time it was okay but never returning. It was my first time trying out the coffee place and had the worst experience. 1 star is for the coffee however 0 for customer service. They don't write names or the actual order on the coffee cups, so as I was waiting for my drink someone took mine thinking it was theirs. I brought this up to the barista and she was beyond rude! She was mumbling under her breath the whole time saying "I don't have time for this" like WHAT? If they would've added a note to the coffee cup indicating what it was, this wouldn't have happened. The cashier seemed to be calming her down, which is ridiculous! Coffee Bean is such a rare find for me, once I find one I have to get a drink! The Ultimate to be exact. Honestly the only drink I have ever ordered and I don't know if I would be adventurous enough to try out another drink. I tried out one location initially but they didn't have any coffee beans to make my drink (it is an essential ingredient as they grind it up so that you can actually taste coffee beans) but luckily there was a second location just on the other side!
