I come to the Venetian quite often and usually start my day here. Everyone has always delivered good customer service and my coffees never disappoint. I do feel terribly bad that if I'm not carrying cash I can't tip them. Even the little shop next door asks for a tip when checking out. Get it together for your staff coffee bean. I might be ignorant to your staff's hourly rates but we are living in a world where costumers are used to tipping and anything helps. read more

Been a long time customer of the CBTL for a long time and spent thousands at their location. This store happens when corporate doesn't care and they hire angry disgruntled employees who go rouge. This is the worst location and probably the worst Coffee Bean ever. Staff is rude and short, don't serve correct drinks and have turn this store into a safe haven for angry employees. If you don't like what you do, quit and work elsewhere. No one wants your negative energy and attitude while vacationing! This is the absolute worse coffee bean I've ever been to. Service is clearly not a priority. I ordered $30 in food and drinks and they treat you like crap if you ask for anything else like an extra lid. They also got my order wrong and I wanted to have it fixed and they gave me a hard time about it. So ended up not getting it corrected. The employees all look unhappy or angry. We came back here again. Ordered a regular coffee and vanilla iced latte. This time I decided to try their southwestern burrito. Dave ordered a bagel with cream cheese. My burrito was really spicy but was pretty good. Their coffee is really good. I like mine to be like a bold, dark roast. Definitely my kind of coffee. Dave really enjoyed his iced vanilla latte...he even went as far as saying he would choose this place over Starbucks which is where he usually goes for an iced vanilla latte. This place is located in the million mile shops, with easy access from planet hollywood. Service was okay. Not friendly or welcoming, but they did their job so what else could you ask for. Main issue was my frap. I hate fraps that use so much ice that you drink the drink and still have half a cup of just crushed ice. It feels like such a waste to buy half of a frap when *the other coffee place that shall not be named* offers creamier, less slushy fraps that allow you to enjoy the entire beverage. Flavor was good, and they put on whipped cream without me asking. Prices were high, but it's Vegas. It's yet another Coffee Bean in the Venetian Palazzo - think this is now the 4th? This one is newly opened near the entrance to Tao and just like the rest, the pricing is higher than their non strip locations. I wouldn't bother with a review except that their very small counter seating area surprised me with a nice strip facing view and good people watching. It's kind of a weird and hidden location, but you could probably avoid the convention rush by grabbing a cup of coffee here instead of the more obvious spots. read more

Needed a caffeine fix during a trip to the Venetian, and The Coffee Bean seemed like an oasis in the desert - just what I needed! I love blended frappe coffees and their Chocolate Hazelnut did not disappoint; ordered the large (regular seemed disappointingly small) and did not regret it. The only decent cup of coffee you can get in vegas is at Starbucks and Starbucks was difficult to find on the strip for people like us where there's a Starbucks on every block where we live. Service is horrible, coffee is horrible. The lady taking our order didn't seem to be with it completely... maybe she was drunk or hungover. She didn't even know how to spell my husband's name which is a pretty simple name to spell. The whole time she had his Visa card in her hand. Lol. The lady that made his coffee completely messed up his order and he told her he wasn't going to drink that and she basically refused to remake it. She had that attitude where she feels it's ok to treat people like chopped liver just because she has pink or purple or blue short hair with tats and piercings. These people shouldn't be working in customer service. That was our second experience there, both times we got coffee, the coffee sucked. read more

This location is right near the Venetian guest elevators. Easy stop for morning coffee. The selection seems smaller than the options at the location in the Palazzo. But maybe my memory is lacking. They have nice little handle bags to carry your baked goods. And they offer drink trays. My biggest gripe- I was asked 3 times if I wanted my receipt. 3 times I said "Yes". I even said yes to the option "Would you like me to put the receipt in your bag". Get back to the room. No receipt. That ended up being $17 out of my pocket instead of on the expense account. I have worked for them in the past as a supervisor and have worked at several other cafes so I am typically pretty lenient and sympathetic with all baristas in the world. Having said that, my girlfriend and I wanted to grab some coffee for the road before checking out from the hotel. They had one girl as an expeditor taking orders to speed up the line. We ordered a reg hazelnut IB and a lg Orchard Peach iced tea. We paid and stepped aside to wait for our drinks. We received two reg sized drinks. No big deal- we let the barista know we had ordered a large iced tea. Conflict resolution at a coffee shop is quite simple. The cost of avoiding an argument and satisfying a customer far outweighs the cost of remaking their order. However, the employee here who decided to give us attitude, state that we had paid for a regular (regardless of the expeditor coming over and letting her know she had took the order for a large), and walked away after giving us back the regular sized tea obviously does not share my views. So double and triple check your order when you ring up everyone, cus they will NOT fix it for you. read more

Another Va Bene Cafe (at the Cosmopolitan) equivalent. Nestled in a comfy location along the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, this cute little coffee bean branch boasts really good coffee. I ordered a hot hazlenut latte coupled with a tuna sandwich, and also got my friend a swedish berry iced tea. They were all a wonderful burst of flavor and the coffee did a great job waking my groggy self up (I was book burying earlier during the day) My only problem was how those 3 items added up to nearly $18! Soon enough, I found out that my coffee was a startling $5 and the tuna sandwich was another $3-4. I immediately remembered how I had to pay the same amount of money at the cosmo for a comparatively smaller cup of coffee and a muffin. Deja Vu, per say? It's still the strip afterall and picking that location to hang out after an art gallery event at the Wyland Galleries meant that I shoud've known what was to be expected of the pricin g, let alone the fact that we were at the Venetian. So I'm scratching the whole pricing issue and focusing on the positive instead- their coffee! Quality was better than starbucks and our barrista was pleasant. Seating was a little cramped but lucky enough there weren't a lot of people lounging there at the time so we had ample free space and privacy to talk. It was a refreshing night and if I do stop by the venetian for another event in the future, I may consider coming back here. read more

One of the things I miss the most about LA life - the Coffee Bean. This place outshines Starbucks in every capacity ... I wish they'd come to the East Coast already! The chai ice blended is my particular poison. Delicious, perfectly blended, pretty low in calories and topped with a light whipped cream (unlike Starbucks, whose whipped cream alone is 100+ calories). This spot is a must-visit when I make it to Vegas, since I rarely make it back to LA. So glad it's here, in one of my all-time fave hotels, the Venetian. Worst Coffee Bean experience. Friendly cashier (he was the supervisor) but horrible baristas!! I waited an unacceptably long time just to get an iced coffee and iced tea. I saw 5 other customers who had much more intricate drinks receive theirs before me. I finally stood in view of where they make the drinks behind the counter and I saw my husband's iced coffee 3/4 done. And it just sat there. And sat there. Nobody even touching it. Eventually when a worker came to give ANOTHER person their order I asked about mine and they had "miscommunication" that it was finished already. Seriously? Get your shit together! I am addicted to coffee. I love iced coffee even MORE that I really should. CB&TL makes an iced Americano that beats any "normal" iced coffee, hands-down. 3 shots of freshly pulled espresso, a touch of water and ice. Add my 3 sugar in the raw packets and a little half and half, and it's PERFECTION! Never bitter. In fact, one time, wayy back it was too weak, and I told the barista and he remade my drink perfectly. The daytime staff is tops. Friendly and efficient, they remember how I like my coffee. A plus since I get it nearly 5 times a week! Steve is a great barista, and a friendly guy. The employees are very friendly and the location is great, but I'm not crazy about their drinks. My latte came out extremely hot, so tried to connect to the wifi while letting it cool. The wifi never connected and I didn't really enjoy the taste of the latte, so I threw most of it away and continued on to Starbucks to. The prices are pretty similar, but Starbucks is a little cheaper and offers more sizes and variety. I generally try to support small coffee shops, but it doesn't seem worthwhile when traveling. Starbucks provides a much more consistent experience and has great free wifi without having to deal with pass codes. Coffee Bean was definitely a waste of time and money for me, but I'll give three stars due to location and friendly staff. read more
