Ordered 2 lattes at 10:30 this morning, waited in my for 5 min. Went in and waited until 10:46 to ask if my order came thru since 5 people came into the store ordered and got their drinks and I still hadn't received mine. When I asked the manager Jacqueline Herrera she said oh, there coming up. When I asked why others got their drinks first her response was that they were busy. (What does that have to do with everyone getting drinks before me.) I waited a few more minutes and since my drinks still had not even been started 20 min after I ordered I ask for refund. She said I'd have to wait another 10 min. A horrible, rude, dismissive, and condescending manager. No apology and still no explaination why others drinks were pushed ahead of mine. This Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is one of my go-tos. Conveniently located off the freeway, this location has ample parking as it sits in the edge of a mini mall. I normally stop by here when I am just about to hop in the freeway for a long ride. They share the space with McDonald's so the drive-thru traffic can be a bit gnarly. I recommend using their app to place and order so you can just walk in and pick it up in the counter. Overall, great customer service, great cold brews and efficient and convenient. read more

I came to pick up an online order I placed via Yelp. Apparently, I had made a selection that wasn't actually available (vanilla spiced latte, regular). I asked if they could just make it a vanilla latte instead. The staff were friendly and actually made it a large (on the house), AND offered a coupon on top of that for the inconvenience. I was really impressed with their customer service and I feel they went above and beyond to compensate me. This is the second time I've come in here and notice that they have poor cleaning habits. I love coffee bean and this one in particular ( la cienega and sawyer) USE TO be my go to one. I am willing to drive a couple extra miles to go to another one because this one has poor cleaning habits. Once mentioned to team member about something that needs to be cleaned the employee became visibly very agitated and reluctantly cleaned it. That'll do it. These people are always so nice to me and my friends from church. It makes the experience so much better. Their offerings aren't going to be life changing but everything is well made and they take care of getting order right. The nitro cold brew and the peach jasmine tea are my favorites. There is plenty of parking, which is a rarity in MidCity and Culver City. This is the go to coffee shop for Core church worship team and staff because we are down the street. This location is messed up every single time. I usually order from the Pico location but when they are not accepting orders I have ordered from this location. Every time something is missing. This last time two drinks were missing plus the bagels were not even toasted. I called the Uber driver and he said they didn't put drinks out. Sometimes I forget Yelp can be used for good. This afternoon I was waiting for my drink and an incredibly rude lady came in demanding that her nearly completed drink be remade. She did not have a receipt and claims she called "a coffee bean" and was told she could just have the drink remade. The supervisor on duty was calm, cool, and collected, and very clear in why she needed a receipt in order to remake the drink and the lady demanding the drink continued to escalate and finally left calling the supervisor a b****. This supervisor handled the situation a lot better than most of us would and I would like to commend her for not becoming agitated and remaining calm while being verbally attacked by a customer who most likely wanted to con a free drink out of her. read more

This is the first time I've seen a coffee bean location coupled up with a McDonald's. I must admit that I was very impressed by that and I think the idea is perfect for business. Of course I had to stop in seeing that this is my favorite coffee shop. It's beautiful inside and out. The bathroom needs to be repaired asap, but other than that it's an awesome location. The dining area has so many options for kick back and study. I love the huge table they have on the left side of the registers for those who may have to write a paper. The comfy sofa they have right in front of the register makes it very convient to wait for your order. The setup was very nice. My blended iced mocha was prepared perfectly just the way I like it. I didn't know that coffee bean sells hot chocolate. Just found that out and will be giving it a try. Very nice visit. read more

Well I have been to this location before and it's the worst for parking especially since it's connected to a McDonalds. Well this morning I go in for a simple London fog like I typically do after standing waiting for one of the employees that were talking to one another. The lady behind counter asked me what that was so I explained to her how to prepare it and I would like it extra hot since I was going to be driving a bit. So I get the order and it is not even remotely close and pretty sure they didn't use Earl Grey tea or almond milk as it was just dirty looking water. Unfortunately I had driven 15 minutes away already before I found out and needed to get into work. Also the general manager (it said so on his badge) interrupted me as I was asking for a stopper. Listen I don't care about last years numbers and orders or to hear them because I'm not an employee. There is a time and place for that which is not in front of clients or during mid conversation. So now I found myself ordering Starbucks and having it delivered for a premium which is where I will continue to take my business as this was the last time I will deal with your establishment. I stop by here a lot mainly because it's on the way to the 10 freeway down LaCienega from my house - so it's convenient to pull in and grab a coffee. I find their food selection to be small and a lot of the time it looks like it's "bought out" so I don't often get anything to eat or snack on - a full case just looks fresher and better somehow, you know? I'm not enticed by the food at this location. Usually not a line though so it's quick in, get some coffee, quick out. Great that the parking lot is easy to navigate and you really can't beat the location in terms of convenience. read more
