I used to love coming to this location but the past 2 orders I've placed the smoothies haven't been the same. Today specifically, I picked up 2 smoothies and they said I selected "no banana" which confused me because it's a smoothie I'd order all the time and had never selected "no banana." They said the printed receipt said it, although when I looked at my order receipt on the app it did not. The only substitution I made was using almond milk instead of 2%. I called to try and fix it, but the girl I spoke with said it was my issue and she couldn't help. She also said the Jamba app isn't related to the store... like that doesn't even make sense. I even offered to share my receipt with her to prove I did not select "no banana." The smoothie is called PB & Banana after all.... I didn't even know you could remove the banana from a smoothie where the 1 of 2 ingredients is the banana. What would be the point of that? When I shared my disapproval with her about her terrible customer service (refusing to make it right by making 2 new smoothies), she replied with a fake laugh. I told her it was a shame because I was a pretty frequent customer & wouldn't be back... she then said "that's ok we have plenty of other customers so we don't need you." If you go here... make sure you taste the smoothie before you leave the store. And sounds like they recommend not using their own app for ordering because they don't have control over it. She kept sayin "well I don't work for the app, I work for the store so I can't help with that." Just a crazy thing to say. The TWO employees working this morning (2/7/26) stated that I was not allowed to pay with a $20 bill and request I pay with 2 $10 bills - when I explained to them that the "change" is the same whether I pay with 2 $10s or a $20 bill and that is has no impact on a "change shortage" to accept a $20 instead of $10s and that maybe a correction to their sign stating they are unable to issue change or can only accept exact change would make sense. They then turned super pushy and said they will get in trouble if they accept a $20 bill and that we needed to have change to pay. Got them 2 $10 instead and got the same change I would have with a $20. Then I'm met with absolutely rude behavior from these two young cash register girls who have somehow decided that because I have questioned this sign that they now can just be rude to a customer who has dropped in about once a month for the past 10 plus years (since those girls were still in elementary school) they didn't let me type my number in for rewards and ignored me immediately after snatching the money from my husbands hand. I really like this place but I do not understand why when Maggy is working the price is higher. I got the same thing yesterday for a dollar cheaper. I do not know this employee personally- she is always super odd when I go into Jamba Juice. She was working Monday March 26th @ 2:26 PM. I came in to get something simple with fresh fruits and juice to satisfy my stomach and help with the bug I've been trying to rid myself of. The beverage I ordered contained fresh squeezed orange juice. After I already paid and the nice gentleman started prepping my wheat grass and juice, he informed me they did not have any fresh oranges and their delivery was coming in then, but wasn't complete or checked in yet. He apologized greatly to me and offered me a wide variety of other options at no cost to me to make up for the loss of orange juice. It didn't bother me in the slightest, but it was quite friendly and accommodating. I made another decision and we moved forward. After receiving my juice and wheat grass, another manager came up to me an offered me a 50% card for my next visit due to the lack of my request. It was a great gesture from both of them and I really appreciated their customer service overall. Seriously I like chains because there are usually no surprises with them. (Unless you go to a Quickly- those places seem to always be different from each other.) You go in and know what to expect in terms of decor, service, price and options. This was no different. Jamba Juice is always clean, super well lit, and has younger kids working there. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the parking situation. If you've ever been in the Vons shopping center, it is always ridiculously hard to find parking! Other than that, I love this location. There's hardly ever a line, even though it's a small place. There's outside seating with tables and umbrellas. The staff is super friendly and they've never messed up an order. I order more than smoothies sometimes too. Their oatmeal is delicious and only $2 on Wednesdays :) I'm in and outta that place quick! I was reading some of the other reviews and I think the people who gave it 2 or 3 stars need to update their reviews. Most of them are from 3 or 4 years ago! Come on.....most people don't work at a Jamba Juice that long and if they do they're usually not the ones taking your orders or making your smoothies (managers, owners etc). I've been using their app during Covid but the app does not allow for any notes. So they cannot do any edits to any orders whenever I order it they don't put it in the freezer but ratherput it in the fridge so it gets melted, this y time I was there on time to pick it up she brought it out it was melted I asked if they could make it again and she said no she offered me a cup of ice instead. I had to write a review for here because they really are doing a great job. I never had an opportunity to go to a Jamba Juice on the East Coast. My friends would laugh at me and ask if I was speaking a different language if I did. This place has become one of my fav spots when I need something. The staff in here is great. I am usually up early for work and they are all very plesant, especially for 630am! I think I have been going in too much though because now they dont even ask what I am having, they just recite it back to me! AWESOME customer service. I even went in on the weekends and the girls behind the counter remember me and say hello. Maybe its my winning smile...I dont know =D Anyway, the staff is great, I am always offered a receipt yet I decline, and they are always busy but very plesant with their customers, even when there are like 20 people in a room that should only hold about 10! Lots of convenient shops nearby if a smoothy or healthy snack is what you your need to get through the day. The folks at Jamba are always cheery. I tend to visit Friday mornings on my way into the office, and always start my day off with good conversation with the people behind the counter. How they are so awake and happy at 7am is beyond me, but bless them for being so. They are getting pricier though! This is the only reason I took a star off of my rating. I remember when I was a kid, smoothies would cost a nickel. Okay, maybe they weren't that cheap. But I went in just a few days ago, and a regular size smoothie and a double shot of wheat grass set me back more than $8. I guess there's not much you can do about that, nothing is getting cheaper these days. Anyway, the smoothies are always good and new flavor combinations come out all the time.
