This is a great location right next to Magic Mountain. It is very spacious with tons of seating inside. They even have an outside patio area if you prefer to sit outside. This is probably my least favorite location lol They always have to mess up one of my drinks and I sometimes just let it slide and deal with it but sometimes it's too much. I always order a matcha latte with almond milk and extra ice. THEY NEVER WANT TO PUT EXTRA ICE. I'm willing to pay for the extra ice but they always end up putting easy ice. I got my drink today and after the first sip I realized there's a cinnamon flavor in my matcha!!! 1. It tastes horrible 2. Someone other than me could be allergic!! So they need to be careful. I ended up throwing out the drink but honestly safety and cleanliness wise, this is not good when they use the same spoons for everything with different flavors. read more

I had a gift card that I'd been carrying around for a couple of years and decided to use it to buy some whole bean coffee. The hardest thing was finding a convenient location as it seemed like most of their stores have shut down. I honestly wasn't even sure if they were still in business, but I found this place on Yelp. There were customers sitting outside and a few inside. I didn't experience any mask issues like other Yelpers mentioned but I wasn't there long. There was a promotion that day, so I received a free tea with my purchase. Overall, the store was clean and the staff was nice. This is a "newer" store, as I remember when the construction was going on in this lot. The old Marie Callender's shut down, but there's a gas station, a McDonald's and a hotel here, all very close to Six Flags Magic Mountain. read more

First time here at The Coffee Bean, we were passing through and needed a coffee fix. This looks popular with the steady flow of customers coming through the door. The interior was very cool with the gray walls and dark wood top tables. Brown chairs at seating area reminded me of the 60's. Ordered a mocha coffee hot for the hubby and it was a bit too sweet for my taste. He liked it because he has a sweet tooth. I order the original mocha blended and it was delicious and refreshing. Had to top it off with whipped cream, yummy. They have a wall display with a verity of coffees and teas for purchase, so we went with the lemon chamomile tea and immunity booster with hinger and turmeric. I will be having this later, sounds good, i hope it taste good. Just a note; Lots of traffic to the bathrooms and they did need a bit of attention, but no too bad. read more

Stopped to fill up the car and noticed this spot next door. A few people on electronic devices when I walked in, but not super busy. There was a nice cashier who processed the order. I popped into the restroom while they were preparing my tea, which was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. I got my items and headed out. The Chai tea was delicious! I also got an iced coffee, no cream/sugar so I was expecting just standard black coffee over ice. I don't know what they put in it but wowwww. A little chocolatey,slightly sweet and 100% gone. This drink was so dang good it was empty before I knew it (which is what prompted a review). If you're nearby, stop in. Get yourself a treat. The good: They have a drive-thru! I've been here a couple of times and enjoy that it's conveniently next to Shell gas station. I've always stopped here after getting gas. The matcha blended ice drink reminds me a lot of the one at Starbucks. It was tasty and not overly sweet. Their whipped cream tastes good too. I love their vanilla iced latte and the quality of their espresso. I also love the crunchy round ice that comes with it. I had a pesto wrap with egg whites that was fragrant with the pesto flavor and came hot. The bad: The woman who took my order asked if I wanted a side of salsa with my pesto wrap and I said yes. I didn't realize it during the time because I just grabbed the bag from the drive-thru and drove off but I didn't get any salsa. The wrap would have definitely benefited with salsa or some heat. The matcha blended ice drink was good but there were a few chunks of ice in it that made it less smooth. I like this particular location because, despite always being busy, the drinks made right and come fairly quickly. The restrooms are well maintained and stocked with essentials. Place is spotless and they had a great selection of snacks, food and beverage options (lately I've noticed places run out of things or just not have it in stock). 1st time trying this place en route back home. Needed a pick me up, so decided with this option instead of Starbucks. Let's just say, I experienced what I would with Starbucks. Staff was not attentive, a little more preoccupied with personal conversations of who's dating who and who loves who. When we finally were able to order felt like we were a burden when we asked a simple question as, which tea do you have since the menu board didn't display tea. When our order was ready the staff set it on the counter without calling out a name. Why was my name taken for my order if they weren't going to call or out? I even had to help out the gentleman before who was experience the same thing. No name calling just our purchase sitting on the counter. Decided last minute to order a pastry item after getting our coffee and tea. Went back to the counter and had to wait for about 5 minutes to be helped. They kept saying, "we'll be right with you," asked for a cheese danish and was informed out of the product. Asked for a coffee cake instead and currently sitting here waiting for it. We came in to get some coffee on our long trip home. There was only one man on his laptop sitting in the lobby, and then a few men came in right after us. After my wife ordered the coffees, two employees, a girl wearing a mask and one with pink/red dyed hair, were standing around not making a single drink for about 5 minutes while they complained loudly and with vulgar language about another employee. Once they began making drinks , it was for the drive through and were also making drinks for the men who came in behind us. We then talked to a supervisor twice to let them know we were missing a drink. It took 20 minutes for us to get a cold brew while blended drinks and teas and cars in the Drive were being served. I get it, they hate their job (and loudly talked about it) but come on- it's your job. read more

This location is quite possibly the worst coffee shop I have ever encountered, and being a barista myself for 5+ years I feel I've earned the right to say that. I walked in and not one person greeted me as baristas do in every other coffee shop. Once I got the counter to order the young cashier, who didn't have any sense of customer service, just kept giggling with her coworkers as I was speaking to her. I ordered my drink and showed her the BOGO deal I had on my phone, which I have attached to this review, and she said "Yeah we're not doing that anymore" when the deal clearly says 'through 3/19.' This BOGO can be used multiple times as there is no barcode, so I stated that at the other Coffee Bean location close by had no issues with the deal. The cashier proceeded to say "It was a one day only type of deal, I don't know why it's being advertised for like that," so I ended up only ordering one drink, which ended up being 80% ice. Not worth the money and I should've walked out. You're better off going to the nearby Coffee Bean than this location. Also wanted to add that the baristas making the drinks were on their phones the majority of the time I was there. read more

This review should not exist. Places such as Coffee Bean, Starbucks, or McD's exist in a realm where a 3-star review is by default: you always know what you get, for better or worse...So just by taking time to review one, there is a good indication either: a.) something went wrong (more likely) or, b.) the service was outstanding and needed to be recognized (less likely). Unfortunately, my experience was the former. Conveniently located right next to the hotel we were staying at, I walked over to Coffee Bean to pick up some hot drinks and baked goods for breakfast. Obviously, the drive-through is the priority here (just like Starbucks), so it took a minute to order once I walked in. Seemed like all the employees were busy making drinks for customers in their vehicles. Once acknowledged, I ordered 2 (two) Jalapeno Cheese Bagels WITH cream cheese and 2 coffees. Coffees came out first, fine. After a few minutes, I heard that the bagel was ready.... A bagel. As in 1 bagel, not 2 . I asked if that was my order as I actually ordered two, but the employee just checked her screen and said there was only 1. This is the same employee I tipped 15% in advance just for doing her job to take my order. I was not expecting an apology for not getting the order right, but putting another order in at that time would be appropriate. Mistakes happen, and that's fine. Something like " Looks like I only got 1. Would you like another? I can ring you right here." But she basically just called it a day right there. I could only concur that 1 bagel will be fine, and not to worry about it. To make things worse that 1 bagel had no cream cheese on it at all, but I didn't notice that until I got back to the room. It surely was not worth walking back and complaining about it. Since we plan on staying at the same hotel again, I might give this Coffee Bean another chance. However, next time here I will make sure to double-check my order and not tip in advance. The quality of the products is as expected, but I will make sure that my order is right-in and out. read more

I was on a work trip and came in for coffee two weeks ago to this location, I was wearing a mask scarf that covered by nose and mouth but the supervisor or manager told me, "your mask is not sufficient". Luckily I had a flimsy paper one in my purse as back up. Funny thing is my beautiful scarf is thicker than that disposable blue mask. They gave me a hot chocolate instead of the NSA vanilla latte with almond milk i ordered. I can't have regular dairy. I got in my car drove away and didn't drink it for a min so it could cool down and i had already driven far enough away to be too inconvenienced to turn back.
