This place is great. I went to school in the Hudson Valley and recently moved back home. Artsy, off-beat cafes were the norm around there, and I'd grown to like a local spot that also featured art. I am pleasantly surprised to find that there is something with a similar vibe right in Marlborough. There's a painting of a huge sumo wrestler on the back wall, which is hilarious. There's plenty of comfortable seating, WiFi, and great coffee drinks. I haven't tried the food except for the quiche, which was meh, but if I'm looking for a great cafe, I'm looking for ambiance, wifi, and phenomenal coffee, all of which can be found here. read more

Good place for a drink and a bite to eat early in the morning. Staff is friendly, the paintings on the wall give you something to look at if you're alone or not in the middle of conversation, and the coffee, of course, is great. One of the tables even doubles as a chess board, so I managed to play a fun round against my girlfriend while we had our drinks! read more

Great place in Marlborough, a town dominated by at least 5 Dunkin Donuts and several Starbucks. I've only tried their coffees, but their pastries look great and their tea selection i s more than you would expect form a local coffee shop. Barristas are always super friendly and know their stuff! Two words: COLD BREW! Once you try cold brew coffee you will never go back to iced again. Col brew was huge in the Pacific NW, but it's hard to find in New England. Their hot coffees are great as well, but do yourself a favor and try the cold brew. read more

I've driven by here a thousand times and for see reason stuck with my usual coffee places. Finally went today. Had a great cold brew, was a clean friendly environment, and had some creative lattes to try next time. Parking is somewhat limited but didn't have a problem. Has some cozy spots to sit with a laptop, much cozier than you know where. * I'm giving it 5 stars based on a single iced coffee and being exactly what I hoped/expected. read more

I didn't realize how much I liked this place until I moved back to the Worcester area. I used to live down the street and would pop in and grab a coffee. The coffee was always tasty and the employees were efficient and friendly. It was a nice place to relax and enjoy your drink as well. I haven't quite found a place comparable in my area now that had both the low-key relaxing vibe with the excellent coffee. There are decent places but there's something about this particular place that I prefer. Definitely worth a visit. read more

Coffee was so good and the staff was really friendly. The only thing that was hard was the parking because it is mostly street parking and I think there are only three spots in the designated lot. I got the latte and my sister got the hot chocolate and the drinks were by far better tasting than many chain coffee shops that we frequent! Will be going back soon. read more

Now that I've moved out of the neighborhood, I REALLY miss and can truly appreciate what The Coffee Loft offered. The coffee and tea here were the best, and that's the staple of this place. I have never come across a Chai tea for example that has matched up to the flavors and aroma here. Free wifi, friendly staff, quiet place to work, relaxing place to chill out with the live music, and long opening hours. The only thing missing? Better food options. Great place that is worth going out of the way to find. But, parking is very difficult. Be warned. I am a tea drinker. Most coffee shops, including the big green one, put tea bags in a cup and pour water over it. This place users high quality loose tea in an infuser and let the water steep properly. It was served at just the right temperature and in a porcelain cup. Fantastic. They have gluten free sweets that are nice and tasty. Get them warmed. read more

This is by the far the best coffee shop in the area. Went in here looking to get away from the usual Starbucks, and I was very pleased. The staff was very welcoming. They have a great selection of coffees, teas, and small snacks. I got iced coffee and was very pleased. I am a huge fan of The Coffee Loft! Whenever I visit my hometown I make sure to stop by. The baristas are so friendly, coffee is awesome, and ambience is quiet with some great art displays. Great spot to meet someone for coffee or get some work done. I normally drink my coffee black but once and a while I will get a latte and on multiple occasions the baristas have made awesome designs in the steamed milk (for Halloween a skeleton and in the winter a snowflake). The parking can be a bit challenging with only a couple spaces. This is a hidden gem in Central MA! read more

I love the Coffee Loft! I've been coming here pretty regularly for a couple of years now, and it's one of my favorite local spots to hang out with friends. I always have some great conversations here. The atmosphere is great and the artwork is so cool and avant garde (they have their own museum in the back, too!) The drinks are pretty good - I usually stick with iced teas but have had their lattes and the quality is nice. Tons of sweeteners/add-ins to garnish the drinks with if necessary. I'd love to see them expand in the food arena, as they only sell granola bars/oatmeal/pastries. read more

Visiting my parents locally and decided to check the area for decent coffee. Yeah, there was the standard terrible Dunkin' down the street and a Starbucks in Target, but luckily found The Coffee Loft less than ten minutes away. Totally worth the trip, the Witches Brew is a tad bit darker than I would roast myself, but still delicious and not bitter at all. Service was excellent, tons of tea and coffee choices. My aunt, cousin and I stopped by just to see what this place was about. Unfortunately the pumpkin coffee tasted like there was cleaning fluid in it. My cousin got a Simosa iced coffee which wasn't the best. We got avocado toast and the bread was barely toasted, the avocado tasted bad and was from a package. There was only salt and pepper as toppings unlike what it said on the website. The coffee cake was the only thing we ended up eating. It was obvious that the workers were trying hard but made many mistakes with orders. Very unorganized. Disappointed. read more
