Stopped by this weekend for brunch and It was packed, the music was great and the vibe was amazing. Even tho they were full my food came out super fast and I could tell everyone was getting taken care of. The manager made sure we were all good at our table as he was also helping out other tables get their food. Food is usually good but the service has been downhill bad ever since Ryan left as a bartender. There is a new girl working it who doesn't pay any attention to anybody sitting at the bar. Today we left after one drink waiting for over 40 minutes when it wasn't even busy. Place has a cool design and has a good bar but the service recently is killing them. Flat out worse service, we sat at the bar last night around 6 PM. Two bartenders working, one who was taking our drink order and appetizer. Watching the other bartender who was consumed with either her friends at the bar or just flirting with them. never asked if we needed another drink or made eye contact with us while the other bartender was making drinks. Decided to leave and not have dinner. WE spoke to others about our experience and they said the same thing. Management needs to step up service, we will NOT be back. read more

Hard as a rock cut into small slices with the worst cheese we had ever tasted. The fried chicken bites were good but the sauce was so hot no one enjoyed it. None of us were happy with our meals either. The smokes dessert was disappointing. Four oversized marshmallows with 4 graham crackers and 4 small pieces of chocolate. I suggested to my girlfriends to meet at the Mckinney location and sadly regret it!!!! The location is nice. Our waiter was great. But the MUSIC WAS TERRIBLE. That 75% why people come to the common table on the weekend. We went on Saturday and have come to know Common Table to have Hip Hop Brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The music was HORRIBLE and the hostess should be telling guests that hip hop music will not be played upon entrance. We arrived at 10:15am and I assumed the music was temporary until 11am.NOPE. I figured I'd try the new common table in McKinney and I have to say I won't be going back. I will stick with the Frisco location. I walked in around 2 o'clock on Saturday place was more than half empty. The hostess set me down at a table and I sat there for a good 10 minutes. No one even said hi then I asked one of the bus boys who my waiter was he said he would find out five minutes more went by and the bus boy didn't even come back so I got up and left! horrible service management definitely needs to do something but I won't be going back. read more

We reserved the patio for my daughter's birthday celebration last weekend. The staff went above and beyond helping us set up the patio, rearrange some tables, and set up the bar. During the evening, they were very attentive to refilling the food items ordered so that everything was hot and fresh. Drinks were refilled quickly and staff always was friendly and helpful. The food was yummy. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Paula and Sheldon were especially helpful but each staff member was terrific. Kudos to all. read more

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant but it was really disappointing. The atmosphere is cool and the food is good, but the service is terrible. The staff wasn't friendly and the service is really slow. The waiter brought water to the table and disappeared. We waited far too long for him to take our order. When he finally came back he thought he was good enough to memorize our order, but he wasn't. He forgot my wife's cocktail. When we finished our meal the waiter was gone again. My wife took the kids to the car and I had to ask the busser to find him. The food is good but it's not worth the wait. We will not be going back. read more

Well I received a plate full of mashed potatoes, and a FATTY rib no bone, hardly no meat at all. I've had a short ribs before, but I was expect that rich gravy. I got a few carrots and onions. First time at Common Table in McKinney but not my last. From the moment I walked in the staff made me feel welcome and the atmosphere was inviting. Our server, Austin, greeted us and he made the whole experience fun by being friendly, warm, offering delicious suggestions from the great menu, and overall being a wonderful representative of the restaurant. It took us several minutes standing at the hostess table to be seated. Once seated it took another several minutes for our waitress to appear. The menu had a good variety! When our food arrived we were disappointed to hear that the kitchen was out of truffle French fries. They brought us another side as a replacement but it arrived after we had finished most of our food. The food ending up being pretty good, so we'll likely return. My husband and I went to Common Table for lunch today around 2:30 and didn't have a great experience compared to other times we have dinned here. Our waitress, Mikayla F, was not very attentive and paid more attention to her boyfriend sitting at the bar or sitting on her phone. We planned on ordering lunch, but only ordered appetizers that took way too long for being one of 3 tables in there that already had food. She eventually asked if we wanted to order food once our appetizers arrived and in my opinion, that should be asked while apps are being prepare. We also saw her hitting in vape in the middle of the restaurant and none of the staff acknowledged us leaving the restaurant. There was no sense of urgency and I probably won't go back! read more
