The food here is absolutely delicious! I love how they have so many different options. The fries can most definitely be shared the serving portion is a lot. My rating is 10/10 on everything. The birria tacos were hands down my favorite though. The drink was very good I asked the host what he recommend and he told me that drink was his favorite unfortunately I forgot the name of the drink but it was very good. I absolutely loved the vibes here. The art work was very good you can tell the artist(s) really gave it there all. The staff was absolutely great from taking orders to making the food to serving the food it was all done within a timely manner. This location is very spacious it's great for large groups and for a party of 2. I will most definitely come back to try this place again. 10/10 read more

I love that there's one in Commerce now! Super close to my work and they have such a nice set up. I got the DUI dog. Pastrami, Carne asada all on a bacon wrapped hot dog. It was absolutely delicious. Just one was enough since the portion is so much more than just a hot dog. They're super customizable too. You can even add hot cheetos to it if you'd like. The dirty esquite was also delicious. My friend said the fries were cool. I love that they have more than just hot dogs. I'd love to try their Carne asada or carnitas fries next time. The area is also surprisingly great. AMBIANCE: This Dirt Dog location is tucked away in an industrial warehouse area but it's really easy to find. What makes it easy to find? Their iconic mural of influential people that have helped make what Los Angeles is today. Inside you'll find a spacious area showcasing their "underground hip-hop" theme. They also have outdoor seating and are implementing new ways to gather around with your friends! FOOD: First up was their Carne Asada Tacos. These didn't disappoint whatsoever! Thick dices of carne asada with a little fat still on some pieces (something I personally enjoy), a nice warm tortilla, and both green and red salsa options. I usually go with a green salsa but their red salsa won me over. Next was their D.U.I. Fries which had super crispy, skin-on fries, topped with pastrami, carne asada, chipotle aioli, and bacon bits. These were hefty and so delicious. I could imagine how the other types of fries are. One thing I'll add to this is that the pastrami pieces weren't diced the same as the rest of the dish, so you do get long pieces of pastrami. Not the biggest deal but I like nice ratios per bite. I also ordered their Elote Dog which was put in between Texas Toast and topped with everything you would find on a classic esquite. Again, on this one I think the bacon bits is a minor overkill for me personally but overall, it was a tasty version of a street dog. I want to touch on their desserts - their churro has a nice batter to it, where it's moist in the middle but stays crispy on the outside. The winner though was the Fried Oreo. Just get it, trust me! Okay, this place is good ! The staff are really friendly and the ambiance is kinda cool. I feel like it would be a cool vibe to come here at night. They have music playing and really comfy round lounge seating with huge booth seats. In terms of the food, it's similar to Dog Haus, except they give you a bit more. The hot dogs from Dog Haus feel a bit small. You can't go wrong with their OG chili dog. I think that one was my favorite just because all the cheese. The patty melt is really good too. It did have a slight hint of spiciness, but definitely not overly spicy. I think the lesson is that anything with cheese is good. Their esquite, which is basically like elote in a cup, is really good and they put enough lime juice. I wasn't sure about getting the oreos since I feel like I generally don't gravitate towards that kind of fried dessert. I did get a churro though and it was bomb. Even without the horchata whipped cream I think it would be good tbh. I'm definitely coming back here, but at night. The only con would be that it's not located in a traditionally noticeable area so it's not something you would come across randomly with driving. Worth checking out though. I might revisit, unsure. This place failed short. The stars given were only for cleanliness and GREAT SERVICE. Now to the nitty gritty. I ordered various items. The esquite would be nice with real fresh corn, not from a can. The bacon was so hard I thought I bit into a random object in my food. All the servers are so kind--willing to rush my order and help me in every which way since I usually only go when I'm on shift.
