The Conch Shack is exactly what you want when you're in Key West, casual, local, and full of flavor. The food is fresh and well prepared, especially the conch dishes, which are clearly the highlight of the menu. Everything we tried was seasoned well and came out hot and tasty. All fried..... The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, making it a great stop whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a laid-back meal. Service was friendly and efficient, even when it was busy. Not quite a fine-dining spot, but that's not the point. It delivers solid food, good portions, and authentic island vibes. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for classic Key West eats.

For a little shack along Duval St, they had pretty good fish and chips (fries). I tried the conch fritters and it wasn't my favorite, but that may just be me since I've never had conch before. Reasonable prices for Key West food. The guy working the front window was pleasant enough and the food was ready within five minutes. They have very very limited seating outside the shack (nothing inside), but it's right beside an outdoor bar so you get to listen to their music as you eat.

Aww, I'm so glad we made it because my sister had been talking about this place for a while. She and my brother-in-law went to Key West some time ago and passed by this location. They didn't stop then, but after reading the reviews, they promised themselves that the next time they came back, this would be one of the first places they visited--and it was exactly the first stop we made. It reminded me of a small, quaint little mom-and-pop food stand that attracts a lot of people. When we arrived, there were already two families in line. The menu offered a variety of different options. We ended up ordering conch fritters and fries. I can't remember what everyone else had, and of course, by the time we thought about taking photos, the food was already gone. Now mind you, I had never had conch before--I'd only heard my sister talk about how good it was--so this was my first time. The staff was incredibly nice and made sure we had everything we needed. We sat outside, enjoyed our food under the umbrella, and soaked it all in. There's even a sign that says, "Do not feed the birds." And trust me--there are pigeons just walking around, patiently waiting for you to share your food... but don't do it `

Good food truck style restaurant for a quick bite to eat. You walk up and order and they have a few places to sit but its definitely not a sit down restaurant. The food was ready pretty quick. We ordered thier conch fritters and a lobster roll. Word of wisdom, in the keys they dont heat the lobster in the roll unless you ask so that was interesting. The lobster was amazing though, so tender. The conch fritters were also really good even though i am not usually the biggest fan of conch. Price was also reasonable.

Tried this place on our first night in Key West and it was the second best place we ate at IMHO. The lobster roll had a veryyy generous amount of lobster - although I could've done with some less butter on the bun. We tried the conch fritters - they were okay. I never tried before so I don't have anything to compare to. My BF liked the fritters and thought the empanadas were decent but not a fave. The service was friend and quick.

Excellent spot! It's definitely a shack (limited seating and drinks) but they house a lot of delicious food in here! They were my first official conch fritters and holy hell were they amazing. Packed with flavour! The dip accompanying them was also incredibly unique and delicious. The lobster roll - we went back again another day in our trip to get a second. So so so good. It is served cold (hot toasted bun) but this CT-roll-loving girl had no qualms about gobbling it down!

Ordered the shrimp basket and it was delicious! Shrimp very fresh and the hand cut fries perfect. The staff was friendly and I have no complaints.

Great conch fritters, pretty location. Has a few seats at the counter so you can sit to eat and enjoy the sights, like this rooster.

It was so hot today in Key West and needed a conch salad as a refreshing meal. The Conch Shack is just that, a shack on Duval Street in front of the Hogs Breath Saloon. Took a seat and waited about 15 minutes for a good portion of conch salad served in a basic basket. The conch was thankfully tender.

The conch fritters were hot, crispy and served with a delicious key lime aioli sauce. They were ready within 10 minutes as promised. This quick service food stop off of Duval Street had the typical Key West vibe.

Simple, quick service shack that can allow you to try Conch for the very first time if you haven't. Once finished, step next door to the lady shouting $5 for the $5 store you'll see all around Key West like ABC store in Hawaii.

We ventured in while strolling down Duval Street to grab some conch fritters and a cold beer. The fritters were prepared fresh to order and arrived steaming hot. They were packed with flavor. If you're near the conch shack, I highly suggest dropping by for a quick snack!

She has been GF for years, and has become accustomed to being disappointed with what she can't have. Imagine her delight (joy!) when they brought over plantains prepared GF - just for her!!! Right after I sat down a waiter came around the corner, almost tripped over my chair, which startled me. Not to mention there was a huge tray of food in his hand that almost fell on me, so again I was startled! It was totally fine though, accidents happen!!! Instead of acting professional and apologizing/laughing it off, the waiter throws our utensils on the table and runs away. Then 5 min later we get a new waiter who seemed annoyed with us because his coworker accidentally tripped on my chair???? What bothered us was how short our waiter was with us, yet so kind to all the other tables around us. We ate quickly and left but our original plan was to stay a bit longer and order drinks with dinner... Weird and unprofessional!

Started with the deviled egg sampler - absolutely delicious - three kinds: regular, topped with crispy chorizo and topped with a fried jalapeño. Food Blackfin is a beer and wine restaurant, so no cocktails. I'm not a big drinker, but I do enjoy when a place offers creative house cocktails. Since I'm not much of a wine or beer person either, I was initially a bit disappointed. That changed quickly when I saw they served Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. That alone felt like a small vacation in a glass. The menu offers plenty of choices to satisfy almost any palate. We weren't especially hungry, so we opted for a lighter approach: * Grilled Octopus * Tempura Green Beans * Spinach and Goat Cheese Salad Everything we ordered was very good. The salad was fresh and thoughtfully balanced, with bacon, goat cheese, apple, and honey bringing layers of flavor. It was served with a crusty baguette. We don't normally eat bread, but this was a welcome addition. The grilled octopus was tender, flavorful, and served hot. Always a good sign. The tempura items were nicely executed, lightly battered and not greasy. The green beans were crisp with delicate seasoning, served alongside a balsamic glaze dipping sauce that complemented without overpowering. Service Service was attentive throughout the evening. We never felt forgotten, and we never felt rushed. The pacing was natural and relaxed. Thank you, Gabor. Atmosphere The indoor dining area feels quiet and intimate. The outdoor patio in the back leans more casual. Surrounded by a tall fence and shaded by trees that form natural canopies, it offers a sense of privacy that can be hard to find in many of the more open-air restaurants along Duval Street. Even though this was a lighter, abbreviated meal for us, my sense is that Blackfin would be an excellent choice for a full dinner. We would definitely plan to return on our next visit to Key West.
