First brunch of 2021 and I was so happy on this gorgeous day to start the year off with my friend. Located in PGA Commons, an art, shopping, dining, and living complex, this was my first visit to The Cooper. The Cooper opened in 2014 in the spot formerly occupied by the Water Bar & Grill. It is owned by the Connecticut-based Max Restaurant Group, which owns 10 other unique restaurants. It was the first location they opened outside of Connecticut and Massachusetts. The Cooper specializes in farm to table with food and beverages sourced from local farms, food artisans, small-batch distillers, and craft brewers. As soon as I walked in the door I loved the decor. There are so many rooms to dine in plus a large outdoor area. There are two bars, one inside and one outside. The table, chairs, and wall art are so elegant but also warm and inviting. Normally I would have hit up the cocktail menu but new year, new diet. I stuck to the water they thoughtfully provided at the table. My friend and I started with a basket of yummy carrot muffins served with maple butter because hey, they are a vegetable but one that tastes like dessert, LOL. For our meal we both ordered the spiced pecan apple salad and I had chicken added to mine. It was a spring mix of lettuce, pecans, and cranberries with a maple cider vinaigrette. It was so light and refreshing and was the perfect meal to start off the new year. I would love to come back one day for their happy hour and one of their charcuterie boards. After enjoying a wonderful lunch I walked around PGA Commons exploring a bit. There are residences above the businesses including this restaurant. I don't know how much I would like to live over a busy restaurant but I definitely like dining at The Cooper. read more

Ate here before the Pandemic and it was fantastic. Great food and a super selection of beer. After the pandemic we came back and it was ok but not the same. Last night we were told it was sold. That makes sense. Service was ok nice people but food was bland at best. Would not return, to many great options in this area. read more

I like this place. Not every last thing from the kitchen is perfect, but It's on balance producing solid tasty foods. Service is super friendly, and lots of outdoor tables for COVID times. Ate here with another couple this evening. Great space inside and out with a nice bar. We arrived a little early , but were seated right away. My wife and I shared a chopped salad which was plenty for two and really good. Our friends shared the grilled octopus appetizer and said great as well. For dinner two of us had the black grouper and two in our party had the skirt steak. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Meagan our server was terrific and attentive. If I have one complaint it's they are a bit pricey, but definitely a place to check out. read more

Had a great tasty lunch but service left a lot to be desired. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather and ambience. Salad was super fresh and really enjoyed the sweet potato fries. But our waitress was not at all attentive, never got drink refills and took 15 minutes to get our bill after asking for it. read more

Had an absolutely extremely successful family dinner at The Cooper with 13 of my family members. The lobster dumplings were definitely some of the best I've had in a long time. My only complaint is there weren't enough of them! My main course was atlantic scallops a la plancha, chorizo, corn, roasted pepper, chipotle butter, scallions. I strongly recommend this dish if seafood is your taste of the evening. The Chef is to be congratulated for one of the better meals I've had in ages! read more

I arrived earlier than my date at 1pm today and was promised by the maitre d' a certain table. Just one minute later, she took a person to that table. When I asked, she simply said "I had to." When my date arrived, I asked for another table which needed cleaning and asked her if it could be cleaned and she replied that she was not in charge of cleaning tables. She made no effort to contact someone to do so. Finally, I saw a waitress and asked if we could use the table she was removing the payment from. She was very nice and cleaned it for us. The food was very good and the waitress exceptional. I cannot say the same for the maitre d'. read more

Food was very good, especially the dark truffle mushroom risotto. The hostess was a little persnickety when we asked to change to a different booth(larger), and the waitress was pleasant, but we had to flag her down every time we wanted to order additional menu, items, or refills of drinks. We were going to mention it to a manager, who we saw go up to a table, and ask how they were enjoying their meal, but out of the 12 other tables in our dining area, the manager did not ask any of the others (including me). read more

The service was great but the food was really awful. I used to go regularly but after last night I don't believe that I will be back. The short rib was horrendous and actually made me nauseas. There is also a serious fly issue. I understand that we are in Florida and not all flies can be helped but when doors are left opened, then what else can be expected. We chose to eat insider for the weather and to avoid bugs but we were swarmed with flies including some massive ones. read more

The sundae is the best thing here. Honestly now I just go for that. The restaurant is nice and so are the staff. Just make sure you get the sundae. It comes with a side of hot fudge and it's just so good. Easily can share with 3-4 people read more

We meet at this place regularly, two groups from Vero Beach and Delray Beach. On 4/13/25, the food was good but the service was poor. The server had a very poor attitude, would not acknowledge when we spoke, and when she returned to our table, she would say "while I'm here, do you need anything," which is odd. When the bill came, we asked if service (tip) was included, when she said yes - absolutely no surprise to us because she knew her 20% was coming, regardless of her service. We were a party of six. Each one of us picked up bad vibes from her throughout the meal. If management cares, I have my receipt for the server's name, etc. Before posting this review, I checked the restaurant website for an email address to share our concerns first, privately. We even struck through the 20% and halved it - but the full charge went through as I expected. read more

Had a great dinner with girlfriends last night! Took advantage of a drink before our reservations from the bar since happy hour was til 6. I ordered the delicious passion fruit margarita. For dinner I opted for Jerry's meatloaf since it was chilly and I wanted something nice warm and comforting. We also got a bottle of burgundy to share. The waitress was very attentive and kept checking in on us. It's been a while since all us girls have seen one another so some us were chatting instead of locking down an order but the waitress was super sweet and patient. I had an amazing experience at The Cooper, I stopped here to try their restaurant month menu & to my surprise it was also happy hour when we got there. The happy hour menu has plenty of drink & food options. The 2 for 1 Don Julio margaritas were a hit! The waitress Kate was the best , ask for her if you go & the manager Rachel checked on us & she was also very pleasant & helpful. The ribs on the appetizer menu were delicious & they are also on the happy hour menu, my steak & shrimp entree was great , the salmon was good. 10/10 across the board! read more

The Cooper was my favorite restaurant from my Palm Beach vacation! Everything I tasted was simply amazing! Started with a delicious draft IPA, had literally THE most delicious French onion soup I've ever had (and I've had French onion soup from French restaurants such as Balthazar in Manhattan), a delicious beet salad with delicious dressing, linguine with braised short rib, and of course, the Cooper sundae, which my whole family shared and loved, but couldn't finish! OK so we love the location and the build out here. Been here like 4 times with friends and family over the past year. You can eat outside, inside and you feel nice and safe (covid wise or your covid risk tolerance) and the build out is very nice. Everyone is dealing with staff issues. Taking that into account. We have not had good service here. Food has been cold on several visits. The food itself I think needs refreshed as things lack flavor on a regular basis. In regards to service - it is just not attentive and fun. No one brings water or checks on us regularly. It is just not what you want when you spend a couple hundred bucks. The good though is the manager and others always apologize. The other good is the cocktails are spot on. Gold rush = awesome. Rum drinks are very good! Just overall I wish the service was better, more proactive and water should be standard on the table at all times. Food lacks flavor and serving cold food 3 out of 4 visits is just not fun. I like you cooper you will get this right! read more

This was our first visit to The Cooper, but certainly not our last! The staff went out of their way to be friendly, welcoming and attentive. They offered their food recommendations, all of which sounded fab. We were there for lunch on a Saturday and there was plenty of outdoor seating as well as trendy indoor seating. I had the Smoked Turkey Club Wrap which I very much enjoyed. It was fresh and flavorful and a very ample serving size.The sweet potato fries that I chose as my side were awesome too. My daughter had the Tuna Poke Bowl, the presentation was impressive and the tuna was very fresh as was the accompanying ingredients. Now the clincher, we dined outdoors and had our puppy with us, the staff were so kind and welcoming to her. They promptly greeted her with a bowl of water, can't beat that! I came here with my husband and parents for happy hour and I'm so glad we did. Their happy hour is everyday 4-6pm at the bar and high tops. We sat inside but they do have a very nice outside bar. I don't remember our bartender's name but he was awesome! He was so friendly and offered some great food suggestions and was always on top of our drinks when we were running low. Their happy hour menu is great and has lots of options. We almost tried everything! We had the Mac n cheese, chorizo dates, fried mozzarella olives, sliders, fish tacos, mussels, turkey burger, salad wedge and Korean bbq ribs. While everything was delicious, my favorites were the dates, olives, and ribs. The meat just fell right off the bone on the ribs. The happy hour food items run about $6-10 each. They have $5 glasses of wine, $4 draft beers and some mixed drinks on the HH drink menu. You can't beat these prices. I will definitely be coming back again. They aced all important areas: service, food and price! read more

We had a decent experience here for brunch once so we thought we'd head back for the summer prix fixe menu Our starters were good (especially the general Tso cauliflower!) with exception of the stale salad croutons Our mains came out, we had the surf and turf and the chicken The chicken was dry and nothing special The steak was bland and flavorless and was not a good cut of meat I wanted a drink handy before tasting the shrimp in case it followed suit After my food was cold I went to the bar but they would not serve me a drink because I was at a table. The water had an off taste so we opted for cocktails The drink experience wasn't great either. Although the Pinit mock tail was good sangria with lime and lemon and cranberry aqua each had way too much citrus taste The service was ok although they mixed up our dishes for both courses and left us for about 35 minutes without drinks and the bar tender wouldn't serve us We were about to leave when the server finally came by but at that point Cooper had already left our tastebuds less than satisfied. I'm being extremely generous giving this place 3 stars, considering I just dropped $150. The food reminded me & tasted like cruise line food. It looked good but no taste. Below is what we ordered -Octopus - tasted synthetically made if that's even possible, the texture reminded me of liver. -Tuna tartare - seemed fresh but bland was missing a sesame ginger sauce / eel sauce -Caesar salad - man was I disappointed, I was so craving a good Caesars. Instead I got a room temperature salad served sardines instead of anchovies. I could have made a better Caesars out of a kraft salad bag. The shocker was the croton, it looked nice & toasted but when I bite it, it just got like flat, no crunch! It was so weird. -Watermelon & Kale salad- if Dennys could make it, it belongs there. It was more like mixed greens with a little kale with prepackaged fruit salad dropped on it. The fruit had that pale appearance as if it's been in the fridge a little too long. - Kid's burger & Cooper burger- it okay, kinda hard to screw up a burger and fries. Service was good and fast, water was brought out immediately unfortunately the food wasn't as good as the service. The ambiance was nice, it may have been happy hour. Looked like a cool place to have drinks and hang out but if you're looking to eat maybe you should try another place. read more

First of all service was beyond excellent Tara took care of our table, my sister can be a pain but Tara was perfect! Food was my old go to there cheeseburger for me was ok not as good as I e had there was kinda like warm. It was pretty crowded for lunch even so reservations are recommended! Walked over from the office and was able to catch the first drink under happy hour! Paul and Tanya were amazing bartenders. It was super busy as it was Honda Classics event in town. Shortly after we walked in spotted a spot at the bar it got super busy. Had the meatballs and sliders both were delicious. Best part was a drink at the end of the night called Mellow Corn which is a house whiskey that Paul explained in detailed how it is crafted. I was surprised to hear they make their own syrups including the fresh ginger one. Its pretty cool and certainly compliments the craft cocktails will be back to try their brunch. At first I was reluctant but saw it was fast had pictures of the item you want plus additional items at no cost I ordered a stuffed omelette with coffee and sourdough toast . You select a table number your going to and they. Ting your order to you . A very cute girl with a big smile brought me out a large ceramic coffee mug with a nice deep flavored coffee . It was perfect . By the time I added cream my Omelet was also on its way and I could see the steam coming off it as she was carrying it up my table . Again absolutely perfect and exactly what I was craving for . You know when you get a great meal you just eat it slowly and savory every bite . Well next time your around PGA stop in and see my new friends at Soil good . You will not be disappointed, whether a great cup of "big " coffee or a beautiful omelette breakfast. As for the food, we've enjoyed pretty much everything we ate over multiple visits. I would certainly recommend any of their pizzas, especially the mushroom. The polenta is exceptionally good. Founder Tim Timoteo chose the name Berry Fresh because berries are synonymous with healthy eating, and his vision was to serve fresh, farm to table food in a welcoming atmosphere. With more than 50 years of restaurant experience, Tim built the business around quality food, reasonable prices, hospitality, and service with a smile. His son, Mitch, soon joined the family business as they expanded into Stuart and Jupiter, eventually becoming Director of Operations in 2018. After Tim retired, Mitch took over as CEO and Head Berry, a role he continues today. Regulars might still spot him taking orders at the counter or helping in the kitchen. Sadly, Tim passed away in 2023, but Mitch continues to honor his father's legacy while growing the restaurant into the local favorite it has become. Whenever possible, ingredients are sourced from regional farms, including peaches and heirloom tomatoes from Georgia and strawberries from Plant City, Florida. The menu has breakfast on one side and lunch on the other. Tim's personal favorites were the stuffed French toast and pancakes, both of which are still served today. I appreciated their weekday lunch specials, which let you pair a soup or salad with either another salad or half of a sandwich. I ordered the half BLT with the Bistro Salad, and it was exactly what I wanted, light, fresh, and full of flavor. Another dear friend of mine had an upcoming birthday and would be away on a cruise so we opted to dine here to celebrate. We sat outside on the covered patio and enjoyed lupper. We shared a variety of items and started with the Parker House bread which is paired with an insanely delicious caramelized onion butter and a trio of tuna poke tacos. Both of these appetizers were superb! The billowy soft roll blanketed in the onion butter was dreamy and the tuna inside the tacos was well flavored and very fresh. Moreover, the combination of textures: the crispy taco shell with soft tuna harmonized extremely well. After we enjoyed the starters, we shared the seasonal chopped salad. The vinaigrette was magnificent and the sweet potatoes were roasted to perfection and danced delightfully with the cranberries and goat cheese. Finally, we shared the Clubhouse California sandwich and fries which we had the kitchen split for us. The sandwich featured toasted multigrain bread with a grilled chicken breast, gruyère, avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a sriracha aïoli. We requested this be held on the side and served along with a side of honey mustard. Unfortunately, there was an error and this didn't occur. I absolutely detest mayonnaise which is why I preferred it be served on the side just in case I could taste it. Luckily, I didn't mind the aïoli being I didn't taste any mayonnaise. It also had a gentle kick due to the sriracha that paired well with the accompanying ingredients. We washed down our meals with club soda paired with lime and good ole fashioned H20. I had mentioned to our server Morgan that it was my friend's birthday so after our meal she and her team brought out a hot brownie with vanilla ice cream and a candle and sang "Happy Birthday." It was such a special touch and very appreciated. Our dining experience was delightful and I will definitely return. The inside of the restaurant along with the bar is beautiful offering great views and the restroom was very clean. There is some walking involved from the parking lot to the dining room, but valet parking is an option.

A few friends kept telling me about the Cooper and raved about the food, so my husband and I finally had the chance to check it out. My friends were right the food was great, and the service that we received from Farrah at the bar was OUTSTANDING! She walked us through the menu, asked us what we liked to eat, and asked if she could make a few selections for us. First we had the mussels, over the top delicious, then we had the salumi and cheese board, the spiced peanuts, fig jam, pickled veggies, seriously it just kept getting better. I have been to The Cooper 4 or 5 times already. The first time was for a friends birthday. Myself and 3 other friends sat at the bar and had drinks and appetizers while we waited for our table. Our bartender was Farah and she was amazing. From the moment we sat down, she waited on us hand and foot. And not only us, she took care of all of the other guests like that too. The next time I was there, I was with my husband. Again, I sat at the bar with Farah until our table was ready. She remembered my name and asked for all of my friends by name, she completely won me over. I never did sit in the dining room that night, and have only sat at the bar each time I've been back. Although the food is excellent some of the staff is ....well to be hostess blonde pony tail young disrespectful and fresh ! in her Twenties think she's the boss. Have to wonder who taught her manners. Manager does not care about customer satisfaction and to be honest some what of a jerk ..walked away from me in the middle of conversation.... We made a reservation through Open Table to celebrate our 42nd anniversary last night at The Cooper. One special touch was that they ask if you are celebrating a special event, I checked Anniversary. Upon arrival we were seated early and the service and meal could not have been better. The servers recommendations were all very helpful and added to the excellent experience. When we ordered coffee and a desert to share, it came on a plate decorated with "Happy Anniversary" and a card signed by all the employees. Nice place, but when we went yesterday the hostess said we couldn't have a regular table and had to take a tall table because they were expecting lots of people. There were at least 20+ vacant tables! We were insulted since there were no reservations, so we left and walked to Roccos Tacos. When we walked back to The Cooper 90 minutes later to go to our car, all of those tables were still vacant! We were a party of 4, so their loss, and we still don't know why the real reason we were denied a regular table, but it was insulting. read more

I went here for brunch on a Sunday bc I heard good things about it. I was very disappointed with the food though. The hash was dry. There was some sort of fritter on the platter which was oily and overcooked. I couldn't even eat it. The presentation was a fail as well. It looked like the chef just threw a bunch of dry oily fried food on a plate but they gave a lot to make it look like it was extravagant. Unfortunately, it was not. The hash was also over salted. Was here the other night and since I moved from New York this hands down has been the BEST place I have went to for dinner. The food was amazing and to top it off for once so was the service. Sunday brunch is the best here, with unlimited Bloody Marys or Mimosas from top notch liquor and ingredients. Meals can run from $10 to $25, and I've never had a bad bite since I started going here a year ago. Great beers on tap, and the staff is quite friendly and fun. I wouldn't say the food was bad, but it also wasn't memorable enough to make me eager to order it again. The real standout was the atmosphere. Tap 42 has a lively, inviting ambiance that's perfect for a relaxed lunch or meeting up with friends. The biggest reason for my 4 star rating, however, was our server, Nicole. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Her outstanding service elevated the entire experience and turned what could have been a 3 star visit into a solid 4 star one. Great service can make all the difference, and Nicole certainly did.
