Does $71.12 seem like a good price for lunch for two? We had two beers ($9 and $9.50!) and a soda and I literally had the cheapest meal possible, $16 for 6 wings ($2.67 each!) 3.95% surcharge for $2.51. Beijing dry rub wings were pretty good, but I feel like I got burned. Not in a rush to go back.

Came here Saturday afternoon for a quick bite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place wasn't too crowded and they are big on the beer with 70 beers on tap.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had a ribeye hogie and chicken wings. Timing was good and bar service was decent. San which was a perfect size portion and fries were solid. Chicken wings we a little off, seasoning was good but a big difference in some of the sizes leading to a couple burnt wings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Divey feel to this spot with a bunch of mugs having over the bar area, but has a nice open feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall not a horrible spot, and it's worth trying.

Drinks, appetizer, dinner. Overall a really nice time. Wes, our server and bartender was amazing. Great ideas on drinks and tips on food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was moderately full and they seemed slightly understaffed but we were well taken care of.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drinks were very good and the Brussels sprouts app was tasty. Asian flavor inspired and use the lime- it makes the difference. The burgers - we both got the Fig Burger were excellent -but we had a snafu.. my dining partner does not like really pink meat so I orderedmed rare and he ordered the near medium. When Wes took the order I told him that near medium still meant juicy. He said he got it. The near medium burger came out dry. When Wes came over to check on us I let him know that. I had traded burgers with my friend and I was ok with the dry burger. Sometimes things happen. Well... Wes asked, almost pleaded to let them give us another one to make it right. We agreed. A bit later the new burger came out and it was perfection. Wes thanked us for letting them make it right versus taking the original burger and not being happy. Wes and this customer service action is part of the reason we go here. They over deliver all the time. They are nice people and care about their guests.

Ambiance 5 stars! Food 5 stars! Service 5 stars! Came here on a Saturday night and a game was going on. Place was fully packed with patrons. Everyone was having a good time! We managed to get a table at the back. This place has a huge long bar and a couple of tables for families/party to enjoy their dinner. They had the inside decorated with Christmas decor. Place is so cozy and quaint. We were immediately greeted by our server. We ordered nachos and oh my goodness the thing is never ending and huge. 5 people can share this! Hubby loved the beer here. Burger was nothing to brag about but still good. Vegetables that came on it were so fresh. Would definitely come back here again. Happy hour would be fun!

Corner Drafthouse Burger, No Onions, Well Done with Fries $21

3-4 Stars. I came around 2:55 pm when it was on and off sprinkling. We sat on their side patio since we had a group of 8. They luckily had thick sun sails to protect us from the rain above. They also turned on 1 heater, they had another one but it only lasted for a short period of time. The workers were really nice and patient when it came to us looking at the menu to order. Just something to note, there's a surcharge and for parties of 8 or more, they have an automatic 20% gratuity (even if you ask for the checks to be split). I ordered the $21 Corner Drafthouse Burger with a side of fries (regular). I requested no onions and they also ask you how you like your burger to be cooked. I'm not particularly sure, so I just said "well." The burger comes with tomato, leafy lettuce, cheese, and a secret sauce. The sauce didn't have lots of flavor if you were to compare it to 1000 island vibe. The bun was toasted, but quite fluffy as well. It also came with a very very juicy slice of pickle. The fries were beautifully done with a nice and light crisp and a fluffy interior. It was a good lunch, but I'm not sure it's worth $27.72! Notes: To drink, most of us just had iced water. In my opinion, the water didn't taste very good. The waitresses didn't think to give us napkins except for the 4x4 napkin under the French fry holder. We had to go back in to ask (we are on the patio). She did ask if we needed anything else, and at the time-- I personally didn't need anything. But half way through, I wish she came back out to ask-- I would have liked more ketchup...Maybe next time, they can fill up the little metal cup more. On the other hand, some people would say it's nice that she left us alone so that we could all converse. My friend had the $21 Cubano with Sweet Potato Fries. It contained mojo pork, ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mustard, garlic aioli on a pressed hoagie roll. He said it was delicious, and saved half to take home for dinner. The waitress said it was a popular menu item! My other friend, ordered the ~$23 Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger but subbed the actual meat patty with the Impossible Patty. She said it was a little freaky with how much it looked like a real patty when cooked. I also had to do a double take! Overall, it was a nice spot near Balboa Park (easy straight line walk from the bridge) to come with friends. For me personally, the price is already on the higher side and having the surcharge + the gratuity was a bit of an overkill esp since the gratuity was 20%. If I'm alone, I probably wouldn't come again. But I did hear that the pretzel bites are a crowd pleaser-- which is great for people that drink beer as well (because they pair well together). If you're one of those people, this spot would be for you!

Absolute perfection. A very cozy place with a very welcoming staff, I came here for dinner recently. Indulged in one of their varied offerings of local craft beer. The Harland Brewing Co. Japanese lager was wonderful. The real surprise was the quality and variety of food offered here. While most drafthouses or breweries generally only serve pub food, The Corner Drafthouse goes beyond that. I opted for the Chinese Chicken Salad, and let me tell you, it was marvelous. Great mixture of greens and add-ins within the salad, but perfectly cooked, warm chicken strips on top really made this dish special. I initially looked at it and thought I'd never be able to eat it all, but sure enough, I took it all in and enjoyed every minute of it. A definite place to stop that has an ample amount of indoor and outdoor seating. I did see a family come in, and crayons with a coloring mat were promptly brought to the table to entertain the little ones. Oh, I will be back!

Every time that I eat at Corner Drafthouse, it's a treat for my taste buds! Most often I haunt this Banker's Hill spot for brunch, but I went for early dinner/happy hour today and OMG!!! The pretzel bites are a must-buy every time. We got the Fig Burger and Cubano today to share and both were delicious. That burger is incredible. With friendly staff and a good beer selection, this is a great spot for foodies and beer lovers alike. They have trivia on Wednesdays and one of these days I'll actually bring a team to play... they also have all day happy hour on Mondays!

This is my new favorite Happy Hour spot. The cocktails are delicious and they offer flavorful bites. We had the Espress Yourself, Smoke and Petal, brussel sprouts, cauliflower and the wings. All were on the HH menu. They also have Tuesday all day specials. Almost each item was $10 which is a great deal these days. The service was great. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Check it out.

Came here on a business trip with co-workers in early December. Really cute holiday vibe on the inside, and loved all the open windows letting the warm California air in. Food was solid especially when you need something to pair with the cocktails. Holiday cocktails were sweet but tasty. Service could have been a little better in terms of attentiveness but staff was super friendly and nice.

We've been here a few times for drinks as it's close to our apartment & has a great casual/fun vibe, but this time warranted a review after we got food. The Ahi Tuna Bowl was surprisingly SO good?!!! The fish tasted fresh, loooved the chipotle aioli, and a massive portion. The wings with gochujang sauce were great too, pretty crispy, good sized & a tangy flavorful sauce. Westin was our bartender/waiter and was sooo lovely! He was very attentive despite it getting busy and him juggling both drinks& tables. We appreciated him for having us watch the games for about 3 hours, hahah. They gave football game day deals w/ $2 off beers & snacks, which is fun :) Such an awesome local sports bar!! Highly recommend.

We went by looking for a spot & luckily got in we quickly got sat at the patio section which was a nice chill vibes scenic and had heaters :) and our server Sarah made our night such a great experience didn't expect trivia night & turned out to be so fun!:)!! Sarah was attentive , kind, & very knowledgeable on the menu , suggested favorites we LOVED the Ceviche & Buffalo Cauliflower were a HIT as appetizers we knocked those out! As well as the Cobb salad for dinner & Cardiff Burgundy pepper tri-tip Chefs kiss ‍ Had such a great night overall drinks were on point Food was A1! Staff and Management are what every establishment should strive to be , Corner Draft House is where it's at! Greatest staff that treats you like family. Friendly familiar service that makes want to keep coming back. Amazing draft selection. The Mug Club creates a great local vibe. Decent food using fresh tasting ingredients. Had the chilaquiles. Cocktails were also decent, had a Paloma. What was not decent was the service. There was a miscommunication between the server and one a member of our party. The server was more or less trying to fix the error but then we had a very rude manager come out and give us a dog face. She could have just been gracious and fixed the situation but you can tell she was in a bad mood because I could see the "hangover" look on her. Ruined our table's experience. Will not be back. read more

The food is good... with the countless TV in the bar area you would be under the impression that it was a good spot to catch a game. That was my main reason for trying the place out. I was disappointed to see a number of Padre fans, with the Padre game on with no sound.. silent clapping over the music playing in the background.. we wanna cheer , but don't know if we get kicked out.. I wanna be out, but gotta leave cause I'd rather be home watching my game with a six pack that sure cost less then the two beers I ordered, and I can hear the game, get buck wild.. at this point I wouldn't even care if I was in the car listening to it.. you can't wear Padre like shirts and not play the game.. for shame.. dropping the mic, throwing a peace sign, and strutting out with my gangster lean read more

Consistency is key here! I've always had great service and great food at this restaurant. Tonight was no different. I was starving and not having a great night. I knew exactly what type of food I was craving and Corner Drafthouse definitely hit the spot! They turned my night around and made everything all better. I know there is "labor shortage" these days but you would never know that when coming here because the staff is on point! I will be back again soon! read more

Here we have one of my favorite places to go being that I live right around the block. This is the pre game, night cap spot that I take all my friends to.. I also like to come for lunch with my friends who live around the area as well. The menu options and happy hour have gotten better from when it first opened and this is just the place to be in Bankers Hill. However, this past time fell short of my expectations and what I am used to. One of the reasons I like to come here is because i am on a specific diet & am picky about turkey burgers! One day I randomly came In for lunch and ordered the combination of a protein style turkey burger with a side of Brussel sprouts (with extra charge, I don't mind). Mmm thank you server for giving the option! They always accommodate without hesitation, however, this time they didn't! Talk about consistency? No apology what so ever, but only a response of "let me see, depends on what the kitchen feels like making" in reference to changing my side to Brussel sprouts. I was immediately turned off by this response and opted to get nothing for a side. Not to mention when the server returned to confirm the kitchen could not do the request, their manager on duty was standing from a far listening to our conversation. At that point, I felt as if she could have accommodated the situation or given an explanation because the one the server had told me was insufficient. If you have the items available and have always accommodated in the past.. what was the difference from this time and any of the other time before? read more

After having an excellent dinner across the street we decided to have some after dinner cocktails. Great choice. I love classic cocktails and the Manhattans were fantastic. The boulevardier lacked the orange peel, but that's ok. Bartenders are not familiar with it. read more

They get 4 stars for two main reasons: 1. Their customer service, and 2. The food is really good! While their drafts actually don't seem to change that often, overall they have a decent variety already, but a mediocre happy hour. I believe it's a buck or two off "select" drafts and a couple bucks off all appetizers that aren't seafood. On that note, however, the seafood are my favorite ones...especially the tuna tartare! I get it regularly as well as the little ahi tostadas and the brussel srpouts - which rival Bo Beau's easily. They've also recently started a mug club which I fully plan on taking advantage of next time to get some add'l discounts! They also have music after happy hour on some nights and there's often quite the crowd in general there. I also plan on trying the brunch sometime! read more

I was looking for a place to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. This place made it happen at their beautiful patio. Communication when I was organizing it was beyond great, Ryan quickly responded, made things easy and understood exactly what I wanted. The waitress was so attentive with everything, shoutout to her! Stopped by for late lunch after some business in the area. Love the beautiful long natural wood table top in the dining room so much that I wish I could have a smaller version for myself!!! Nice decor all around, very sweet waitress, enjoyed the sweet potato fries came with my fish sandwich but the grilled yellow tail tasted kind of fishy and tough. Outstanding experience in every way. We went for pre-theatre (Old Globe) to take advantage of the restaurant's free underground parking. Ended up discovering a new fave restaurant! They have 70 beers on tap. That's awesome. They also have good cocktails. But the star is their food. We had a southern fried chicken sandwich and a Reuben (we cut them and share). Both were excellent--the chicken sandwich was probably the best I've ever tasted. All the flavors were both clear and yet blended well, and the textures were spot on. They serve chunky French fries, and they are exceptional. The ambiance is steampunk and fun. The service excellent. This will be our go-to, pre-theatre restaurant from now on. read more

This place had a great menu and fantastic beers on tap! HUGE amount of beers! The service was good and the food was GREAT! They have parking around the corner in a parkade and we will definitely go back (that's my mark of rating, if I'm willing to part with my $ and go back, we will). Ordered the southern chicken sandwich with fries (fries were as good as they get, piping hot and a perfect portion). The chicken sandwich was amazing! Can't wait to go back! read more

Great experience. Stopped by in the middle of a walk around the park. Had a great cut of salmon, on a ceased salad, and a couple beers. When ordering an ipa of bartenders choice there was no hesitation, chose me a great beer. Caroline is a great bartender, she made our visit great. Trip 2: Another great experience. Overall, I really enjoyed The Corner Drafthouse. We came on a Tuesday night which is their "Tacos and Ritas" night - $3 tacos and $6 margaritas. We decided to skip the tacos and order from the full menu. They have an extensive menu with sandwiches, salads, burgers and big plates. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (with a side of their homemade blue cheese apple slaw) and the Grilled Mahi Sandwich (with side of sweet potato fries). The sandwiches were delicious - especially the Buffalo Chicken. The Homemade Blue Cheese Apple Slaw definitely stole the show and was my favorite part of my dish!! Although we didn't have beer, they do have a large selection of craft beers on tap. I will make sure to return and grab one of their draft beers. I did find the prices to be on the higher side. Each sandwich was over $15 each! read more

Always enjoy coming to The Corner Drafthouse. Such a great place that's located right outside of Balboa Park. Which makes it an excellent place for brunch, lunch, or dinner in a great location. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The place is always clean and well kept, which is so important right now because of the pandemic. Today I went for brunch. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Toast and a coffee, basic. It was really good, salmon tasted so fresh and they gave you a really nice big bowl of fruit on the side. I have been for lunch and dinner before too and would definitely recommend it no matter what time of the day you go. I have yet to have one bad meal. The parking situation can be a hit or miss, but usually I have been having a lot of luck when I go. Think of this way, if you have to park a little away at least you will be walking in a nice park. read more

Aloha, we love San Diego and are always looking for the next best place to hang-out. Nice outdoor seating available as well as in/on the bar. They had the local brews on tap, lots of taps, including my favorite Sculpin, nice! We shared the crab-bacon-mac n cheese with truffle oil. It was good, but I couldn't find the bacon. The sandwiches were amazingly good. We will definitely be back. read more

Yum...I think we now have a bit of an addiction. The cheesecake starts as an appetizer and we also get it for dessert...it's THATS delightful! I'm not a drinker but the food and comfortable atmosphere will keep me bringing friends for sure. The parm fries are sinful and full of flavor. The braised short rib sandwich is melt in your mouth delish and the brussel sprouts are so good. Service was wonderful and the menu memorized to explain exactly what I'd be getting. The restaurant across the street was closed till 4 pm so we tried this restaurant after a Sunday visit to Balboa Park. We sat outside which was pleasant. There was a descent beer selection and the red ale was good. Both the burger and the mahi sandwich were excellent, very tasty! The mahi sandwich was a generous size as well. The sides - sweet potato fries and coleslaw were very good as well. Overall we were very impressed with the consistency of food quality, there were no misses. read more

Came here for dinner and ordered bacon sliders, tacos (pork, chicken, and steak), and macaroni and cheese. Our host seated us right away, even giving us a table that was marked as reserved since the place was packed. Seems like the locals here know this place to be good. Our waiter was super nice and super helpful as we had questions about the menu. The overall vibe of the place was a lot of fun. They were even filming something for a TV show at the other end of the restaurant for a talk show. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere. Sliders were really tasty. A little bit undercooked for my liking (closer to rare than medium) but that's okay because they were still hot throughout. My friend said the tacos were very good and said she would order them again. I ordered the macaroni and cheese and it was really not my favorite. I took a bite of it and it just kind of tasted like overcooked mush and the cheese was rather soupy. The tomatoes flopped on the top also didn't do anything for the dish. I wish that the cheese was a better quality and was baked in the oven. It seems like it was kind of just tossed together with the cheese sauce and the consistency gave me the ick. I definitely would come back to try their beverage selection and order the sliders again. Our waiter was super understanding and took the macaroni off the bill. I couldn't stomach more than a bite of it. It was an awkward situation to tell them that I didn't like it, but they didn't make me feel bad about it which I appreciate. The staff here seems happy and like they are actually friends and enjoy each other's company. That is very rare at restaurants these days. read more

I would not recommend this place. I came here on a Sunday afternoon. There were plenty of employees working but they were all talking to each other and not being attentive. It took 15 minutes for our server to come, I had to flag down the employees to get another drink, and I had to ask twice for our check. They have a good happy hour BUT the service was terrible. I would of stayed and ordered food if the service was good. read more

This place is so awesome. The food is fantastic, the drinks are delicious, and they have the most friendly and adorable staff. My boyfriend and I come here most Sunday mornings to watch football. Really nice interior and lots of TVs for watching the games. Staff is friendly for the most part. Food portions are quite large, though they could improve somewhat on the quality of the food. Some dishes are good, others could use a lot of improvement. The owner is often there and he is really cool. Very receptive to his patrons and genuinely cares if they are having a good time. read more

I was going across the street for a dinner reservation when the large amount of beer taps caught my eye through the open windows. I was immediately drawn in by Clay, the bartender who was a wealth of knowledge about Craft beers and local microbreweries in particular. As I searched the draft beer selection of over 35 beers, I was looking for the few that I had not tried. Definitely do not recommend the Corner Outhouse. oh fuck, sorry I meant to say Drafthouse* I normally don't write shitty reviews because I believe that shitty places generally just run out of business on their own, but this place is fucking special. My girlfriend and I were planning to eat at Azuki Sushi, but when we got there they said the wait would be around an hour. Both of us were fucking starving so we thought it'd be a good idea to grab a snack somewhere else while we waited for dinner. A quick search on Yelp and we thought maybe some fish&chips would be a nice quick bite. We got to the Corner Drafthouse and placed ONE order of fish & chips. We ended up waiting 45 fucking minutes for one order of fish and chips. No that is not an exaggeration, because Azuki Sushi texted us that our table was ready BEFORE the fucking fish and chips came out. So that basically defeated the entire purpose of us getting a snack in the first place, when I tried to cancel the order the waitress told me they were literally packing the food as we spoke, but we ended up still waiting longer for them to send it out. Here's the fucking best part. The fish & chips tasted like fucking shit. The fries weren't cooked all the way through and the fish was rubbery. Plus it's overpriced, 16 dollars for below average finger food? Even the fucking DMV has never made me wait 45 minutes. Y'all need jesus. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Dan S.

Dan Sobek, Owner of The Corner Drafthouse, is a classically trained chef graduating first of his class from the prestigious Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte. Dan managed the kitchens during the opening of the Five-Diamond, Five-Star Setai Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York City and assisted with the opening of Alain Ducasse’s signature Three-Star Michelin restaurant in the Dorchester Hotel The Corner Drafthouse is Dan’s first project in Southern California. Combining his techniques to complement each flavor combination he has developed a sensible approach to food sourcing the best ingredients possible and loves serving the Bankers Hill area.

We essentially ordered from staff who took our order in the middle of the floor, then we had to hold our drinks, some that came with additional shot glasses, in full hands, as we were never seated. We did find a barrel to set our drinks on later, but their process and expectations for guests was just really weird and impractical. The theme and decor of the setting was lovely, with moments of a lightning and thunder effect that made the experience more immersive. But we were not impressed by the sticky menus and sticky floor, nor the lack of service and minimal help from staff while there. We made the most of our time at False Idol regardless of their shortcomings. The bombay sling and enigma de muerte were pretty decent in quality and flavor, so it's safe to say the drinks aren't the problem here. And though we probably won't return, it was cool for a one-time experience.

It honestly felt like the car knew we weren't recognizing the place. It was such a funny experience that made FSD seem almost human. Once inside, we were blown away. The interior is absolutely top-notch--stylish, elegant, and full of character. The pistachio dessert and the chocolate mousse were pure heaven, rich, smooth, and beautifully presented. When I point out none of this is advertised anywhere, I'm informed it's on Open Table, and that we should've seen it there, and were dismissed. They said they could give us another restaurant recommendation and then proceeded to just dismiss us without even that courtesy. We go back to verify this age limit, and it's there... one TINY line 2 scrolls down on the page, WAY beyond any of the information needed to just book a table, which is the only thing Open Table is used for. Complete waste of time for a poorly advertised bar with zero helpful staff on a dumpy street by the airport.

His questions guided my indecision towards a Berkshire Old Fashioned that was fantastic despite my fumbling to get there. With the warm up round over and the old fashioned loosening up my creativity, round two was set to be a knockout. I love coffee (specifically strong espresso drinks), so I asked for a strong, coffee infused, punchy cocktail, but with a different base of alcohol from the old fashioned. What came out was the best cocktail I will probably ever have in my life. The bourbon cocktail with coffee liqueur (and a number of other garnishes I will never remember) hit the bullseye. Flavorful, strong, bold, delicious all at the same time. Unfortunately (?), this was a noble experiment so I'll forever be chasing the white whale of what this drink was. But that's the allure.

Every visit brings something new, fresh, and exciting to try. Both of my drinks were absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. I honestly don't know how the bartenders come up with these combinations, but kudos to the team for constantly pushing their creativity while still making every cocktail incredibly well balanced. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, Music Bar never disappoints. I'll definitely keep coming back to see what new creations they come up with next. Dogs were present at the bar and wandering freely without leashes, approaching our table. Having dogs on the patio is acceptable, but their presence throughout the restaurant felt excessive. At one point, a dog that appeared to be a local favorite wandered over, and one of the bartenders began hugging and petting it. This lack of hygiene was concerning, especially as our own waitress seemed preoccupied with an apparent skin issue, which made me hesitant about her handling our food. Unfortunately, my suggestion was conveyed in a manner that put the bartender on the defensive, prompting her to react with visible frustration. She slammed her hands on the bar, loudly declaring that she would wash her hands, which created an embarrassing scene for us and other patrons. Ok, so people giving them 1 star because you can't walk in with your dog? And you don't even eat there? Come on people. They DO HAVE a dog friendly patio, but that's it, makes since because they are a restaurant not a Petco. I've had several things on the menu, favorite apps are Brussels sprouts, buffalo chicken, sweet potato fries, tune poke, and cheese board. Classic pub food with a San Diego twist!! Entries; have had grilled cheese and tomato soup (very earthy and different style of tomato soup, but was very good). Their selection of beer is top notch, about 15 beers are available for happy hour but selection of over 70, sure they will rotate the happy hour selection. Fish and chips is the best, I prefer a large amount of batter for that extra crunch, and this is what they deliver! Couldn't be happier. HAPPY HOUR TIMES 4-6pm, which is great because there's not really any pub style places in Bankers Hill. $2 off certain apps and drinks. The place is not a dive bar, so don't expect a $3 plate of food. Prices are fair, $10-15 during happy hour which is great!! The quality of the food is great, fits right in with the "new trendy place" vibe. Service seems like they are training, but makes since because they are brand new! If I could give a minus 1, I would. I live in the neighborhood and have eaten here a hand full of times. The food is in consistent, and over priced. One afternoon I went in and got the sliders, they came out completely raw. I sent them back to be cooked. Still raw... I was told they were mixed up with another customer. Needless to say, I got food poisoning. I've never been so sick. I reported the incident to the Health Department. I had left several messages for the Manager (Lauren) to make her aware. She never returned my calls. A week later, I went in to speak to Lauren. I've Never met a ruder person, I was trying to explain what happened. She rolled her eyes, and just didn't give a s- - -. I went in for Saturday lunch with me and a large group of my friends about 11 or 12 people. Bri was our server and recommend you request her. She was very knowledgeable about the drink menu and gave us some great recommendations. It was March madness and there was a lot of people but Bri was so attentive we felt like the only people there! The beer menu was impressive, a good selection of local craft brews and since I'm a Michigan native loved the Bell's selection too! They also offer a great happy hour special Tuesday through Friday with $5 off pizzas. I don't remember the exact hours, so you'll want to check those before visiting. One of the things I love most about this place is the variety. There are three different brewery stations throughout the venue. I got a flight from the back room, where they serve mead, which is tough to find around San Diego. I ordered a flight, which came with six selections, and every single one was excellent. The staff here are fantastic. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and one of the chefs even came out to give the pups some pepperoni, which was a nice touch that definitely stood out. The space itself is huge with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a great place for groups to gather, relax, and enjoy a few drinks without feeling cramped. Overall, this is a fun and unique spot with great food, excellent drinks, and outstanding service. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back.

The main food available is from Pizza Cassette, which has delicious sandwiches and wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pizza pies. Drinks are available from a brewery, a trendy and unique wine spot, and a meadery! Truly something for everyone. It's dog friendly and great for groups to still feel intimate with standing areas, barrel table tops and picnic style tables. There's usually always something happening like trivia night or live music, but heads up, they don't stay open too late - won't be an issue for most, but in case you're looking for a spot at 8pm, double check the hours, especially for food.
