The hosts were great and they always give us great service but the food had been the lacking the last couple of services where the she crab soup lacked crab, the swordfish over cooked multiple times. This time in particular we ordered the whole lobster and was offered to have it taken out of the shell for us. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. When we got the lobster we got a full tail but one claw and no knuckles. When we addressed with the server, she argued with us that that's how a lobster is and that there could be more meat hidden on the plate. It felt like she thought we were there to just get more food by saying "so what do you want, more meat" but if we had it in the shell we would have received our full portion. The manager on duty tried to make it up to us by comping the lobster but it was more than that. After going back and forth with the server we just wanted the check to leave. The manager on duty insisted to give us the lobster and take it home. The server wasn't very polite and argued with us about the lobster. There's probably 8 or so booths for seating and stools at the bar. We ordered whiting basket, hushpuppies and catfish sandwich basket. The fish and the hushpuppies are the stars of everything! Our fish was fried and seasoned perfectly, both my husband's whiting and my catfish on my sandwich. You will not leave hungry! Although it's not cheap, they give you a lot of food! The hushpuppies could've came out the grease a few minutes earlier, but they were still really good! I'm a sucker for a hushpuppies with corn and a little sweetness! I got the catfish basket. The hushpuppies have peppers and corn like mexican cornbread. The hushpuppies are really good but not worth a trip alone. The catfish was fried to perfection and seasoned good. The fries did not have any salt or seasoning at all which is weird since they are called cajun fries on the menu. They only have bottled water and all draft drinks cost $2 per refill. I got a pineapple lemonade which tasted good and house made. The cup was pretty small for a $5 drink and no refills.
