From meeting Brooks at the front door to Leah (Who was the sweetest and so knowledgeable about the area from other places to visit for meals and hiking trails ) Everything that Leah and her fellow staff recommended was like sitting at your grandma's table for Sunday breakfast and "LINNER"! Starting with breakfast was fresh coffee and tea that was the best around. We had chicken and waffles, egg white omelets, Denver omelets, crispy bacon and legendary home fries and oversized bowls of fresh fruit. We had a wait time to go sit down so me and my friend decided to take her dog on a walk while we waited. when we finally got to Ricky we're seated outside since we had a dog with us. We were informed that the dog could not eat outside due to regulations. I thought this was so odd because I've never heard this before since we were outside. I got the buffalo chicken grilled cheese to eat. I was kind of disappointed with my girl she's considering it was just a grilled chicken breast covered in hot sauce, instead of being shred it up. my friend got the veggie burger, what she thought was pretty good. The cow an eatery is where I ended up. This restaurant delivered on all my requirements and some. The services was fantastic, the food was great, the parking was free, and they had soft served ice cream. I ordered 1/2 Lb. Burger with bacon and cheese, french fries, vanilla oreo milk shake, and ice tea. The 1/2 Lb. Burger was delicious, and the french fries were crispy. The restaurant is like a little diner with a huge menu. They even have a happy hour menu. They have an outside window you can order to go, or you can go inside, sit down, and be served. Cute, adorable eatery in Morrison! We got up early to check out Red Rocks and was delighted to find this cute little street. We walked into a couple of stores and realized we were starving! The big cow out front caught our eye! They have a tent outside to help with crowds/social distancing but we were able to eat inside. It's a quaint little diner and we were at the cusp of breakfast and lunch so were offered menus for both. We split a patty melt and some thick crinkle flat fries. Stoped by after family pics in the mountains. Service was great, patient with our questions from a party of 4 adults, 2 kids. My son, grandson and I shared the Holy Cow Burger and we still had leftovers! Loved the challenge and the taste. The kids had grilled cheese sandwiches. One added mac and cheese which is very good. Stopped in here the other morning for breakfast and so glad I did, was greeted by a friendly smile and promptly seated. The menu choices are accommodating for all taste palettes and appetites, they have something for everyone and I was happy with their vegetarian choices so I had the Emerald Scramble a dish filled with tastiness and flavor served with sweet potato home fries and sourdough toast, I also had a coffee and large OJ. So my boyfriend and I go to the Cow every Sunday. We typically get the the fried pickles and the buffalo Mac and cheese. When we go to the actual restaurant our experience is 4/5 or 5/5. But recently we ordered delivery from there for our Mac and cheese, and it was awful. I'm including pictures of both our in store and delivery orders. The ones we got off of door dash are absolutely disgusting and essentially were craft Mac and cheese with buffalo chicken. I tried submitting our complaint to door dash, but received absolutely nothing. I hope you see the issue with the inconsistencies and disgustingness of our delivery order though Grubhub. read more

This Morrison gem is one of my favorite places to eat. Coming from Texas where you can get chicken fried steak at almost every restaurant, I wasn't sure what I would find. The Cow had THE BEST chicken fried steak I have ever tasted. The entire meal is perfect! My husband had the fish and chips which he loved, I had to sneak a bite also and it was so good. Disabled not welcome! I went in recently and a manager/owner named Chad was extremely rude to an adult I serve with disabilities. Awful start. We are Deaf and this is why all people must learn ASL (American sign language) to remove communication barrier. We waited for a couple of minutes. Then we went in. We came in at 10:55 and wanted to order some juice and coffee. I wanted breakfast then my partner wanted lunch so the server told us we couldn't order lunch. We were like sure then it was 11am then the server made a mistake and said 11:05 then she left but we weren't finished making orders for breakfast and coffee. My partner learned they had more options in coffee selections. Then my partner wanted to clarify for coffee options. The server didn't know what's the difference and not helpful with us. Came here for brunch this past Sunday. There was a little bit of a wait but just enough time for us to walk down the block. The parking lot was small but we did manage to find a spot. If not there is plenty of 3 hour parking on the street. They had an outside set up to put your name in and a texting system to notify you when your table was ready. We were seated outside in the rented area. They seemed to have a really good covid set up with additional outdoor seating and the servers wearing masks. We got the biscuits and gravy, the breakfast burrito and the cinnamon roll. If you're thinking about getting a cinnamon roll just get it. My friend and I split it and it was perfect amount. The green chili on the burrito was divine. I also got an americano and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the coffee. They also gave us to go coffees when we left. Food wasn't out of this world but pretty good for a small town. Affordable between two people we paid about $20 each.
