In full disclosure I know the owners, but if it sucked, I would call them out. Place looks amazing!!! My 24yo daughter and myself opted to sit at the bar. The owners had tall plants separating barstools so everybody was distanced. The bar is gorgeous. Servers had masks on the whole time, they were doing exactly what they needed to do. I saw some people waiting a little, but for a place open for only two weeks, it was running very well. Food was amazing!!! We had empanadas for an appetizer, Juliette had the vegan paella and I had the Chicken 1959 sandwich. All spectacular. Chatted with the owners a little, (and he's actually doing the cooking). New place in town! Sat outside last night with Maine street closed off. Shared the el Cubano with maduros and tried the beef, shrimp and chicken empanadas. Also had the classic margarita on the rocks. Soooo delish!! Will definitely be back. We met the owner too and she was fab! read more

First time eating here and it was Ok. I mean that the decor, and vibe were chill but the food was just Ok for me. I had a salmon special served with rice and beans, and sweet plantains. The salmon wasn't seasoned well and the beans looked a bit dry on the plate. My family enjoyed their food especially the beef dish. Service was just Ok as well. We were met at first with a semi cold waitress, but luckily we didn't have her for the rest of our meal. Overall I may be back to check out the sandwiches. read more

I ate at the Cube Inn and it was great! The staff was so nice and the service was on point. When you eat here, you must try the Masas De Cerdo (pork wings). They are amazingly seasoned, tender pork chunks. Holy crap they were amazing! We had the Cuban Sandwich and the Pan Con Lechon and both were on point. Phenomenal! Dined here the other night and had a wonderful time. Incredibly kind and polite waitstaff & barstaff. They were so sweet and professional. They ran out of lemonade, so the bartender personally went out to grab me some limeade. (Seriously, they really went above and beyond; I was content with just lemon water, but they care about their guests so much, that they did everything to make our dining experience perfect.) Not only that, but our server was extremely respectful of and responsive towards my various dietary needs and restrictions, (as I have six major gastrointestinal disorders), and made sure that my dishes didn't contain any dairy, beans, onions or garlic. The food was also really great and very much worth the price, especially when you factor in the amazing ambiance of the entire restaurant. Stopped in today before the TaSH Holiday Market--a great find. Chicken and pork wings were delicious, as was the Cubano and Havana sandwiches. The portions were large (took 1/2 my sandwich home). Happened upon this place while walking the vibrant Tarrytown Main Street scene. Delicious authentic Cuban fare and drink. Co-owner/chef hails from Cuba and his wife/co-owner runs front of the house with loads of verve and hospitality. This is a cute place, small and trying to feed way too many. Not great.for dinner but it's ok for lunch 1. We were served chicken wings undercooked red inside. They were not taken off the bill. 2. The yucca fries and tostones had to be wiped off before eating because of the salty seasoning. 3. The shrimp fritters were tasteless. 4. Very slow service 5. The drinks were mediocre 6. Went there a quarter to six, it was packed. Parking was easy for a Saturday. 45 minute wait but got in just about 30 minutes later. Went in there and felt intimate and lively at the same time. The decor was pretty cool and not garish and Cuban music played in the background but also didn't drown you out. Wait staff was quick and my friend and I ordered right away since we spent the wait time looking over the menu. I got a Havana Mule (delicious) and she got a Caipirinha. Drinks mixed well as the vodka/rum ratios didn't hit you like a Mack truck. Next up was our croquettes and empanadas. Tasty and not oily at all. Unfortunately the ceviche was not available. Next was our entrees. I had a pork sandwich with the yucca fries. It was great and not overly salty at all plus the mojo for the sandwich was great. I could put that on anything. Friend had the ropa vieja (slow roasted shredded beef) it too was tasty. Not overly salty and easy to chew. The sauce was tomato-y which I like. At the end we ate too much to grab dessert. But that key lime pie was calling to me. Two thumbs up from me. read more

If you're looking for a place to perch up for a while to have food, drinks, and watch a few games on their TVs... this is NOT it. To preface, this WAS a go to place for my husband and I since they opened. (We visit Tarrytown a 3 or 4 times a year). They have a lively vibe and a handful of TVs that air a variety of sports. Which is what we both were looking for in our afternoons/nights. We have always sat at our tables for long periods of time, and try order plenty throughout our stay. We had never had any issues with table time caps or issues with us staying for a while. So we thought it would be a great place for my MIL, who is elderly and has severe rheumatoid arthritis (it makes it hard for her to stand or walk for long periods of time). However, this past weekend it was apparently not okay. So after we payed our bill and slowly finished our last drinks, I figured I'd let my MIL sit for an additional couple of minutes while I popped by the restroom. During that time a member of the staff rudely told my husband and MIL that they had to go, like now. That they had met the 1.5 hour table time cap (that was never communicated to us, and there was plenty of time to do so on their part). Now mind you, we continuously ordered throughout our time at that table, but apparently even if you are paying... if they don't want you there.. then you'll get bullied right out the door. I was livid with the guy that told them this, since it upset my MIL, and confronted him. Needless to say we will not be going back, nor will I be recommending this place to anyone I know, anymore. Beyond the rudeness of that staff member: The servers aren't very attentive, you have to flag them down for anything beyond the initial food order (for instance it took me 15 mins just to find our server for the bill); The food is just okay, I've never had anything that I've loved; I haven't liked any of the cocktails that I've had there, we mostly stick to beer or wine. And that selection is alright. Like I said, the highlights were the atmosphere and the TVs. Not anymore though. read more

We stopped here for a quick snack and couldn't stop eating :) We enjoyed the ceviche, pork wings with spicy guava sauce (though we wish they reduced the sauce and thickened it so we could get more of it on the meat!), and empanadas (guava and beef)!! The food was awesome! The drinks were amazing. The staff hustled and made sure we were taken care of. The husband/wife owners were charming and gracious. This place is a gem. So much of the Westchester's food scene changed for the worse, with many establishment closings during Covid. This place is a breath of fresh air from all the chain establishments and standard pubs that dominate the food scene. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. If you are going to the Tarrytown Music Hall, do yourself a favor and stop in for a drink and something to eat. You will not be disappointed. read more

This is my second visit to this Cuban inspired restaurant and I have mix feelings about it. I like the ambiance they are trying to create but I am not to impressed with the customer service. It is a new restaurant in Tarrytown that had open later due to Covid restrictions but is doing the best they can to move forward to grow their business. Really loved the Cuban sandwich and the salad. Tostones just needed some salt but were perfectly crispy. Drinks were great. Loved the Cortadito. Service from staff & owners was very friendly and never overbearing. Decor is great. Clean. Spaced out for social distancing perfectly. Tried it out for the first time after much anticipation and it was fantastic! The beef empanadas were perfectly crunchy and the filling was delicious. The guava cheese empanada sounds weird, but trust me TRY IT. Me and my friend shared two sandwiches, the Cuban and the salmon sandwich. The Cuban was even better than I could have expected, possibly the best iteration of the sandwich I've ever tasted. The salmon sandwich was also great, something I'd be happy to order again when I'm in the mood for something healthy and delicious. All in all I am so glad this place has opened up in town and I will be back soon to work my way through the menu! read more

Excellent Cuban food. Flavorful garlic and spices. Drink menu is impressive also. Fresh ingredients and well crafted recipes. Enjoyed the latin music, decor and the overall ambience. The service, however, was a bit lacking. If you think you will need salt/pepper, hot sauce, napkins, silverware or extra plates for your meal, ask for it before your food arrives. Or walk over to the service bar where all the servers and busboys are always hanging out, chatting, and ask them for it. Chelsea our server was so awesome! The owner checked on us throughout as well! The empanadas are amazing, the guava was our favorite!! We ordered more!! I had the ceviche and it was delicious! We will go back to get the 5th Star, my husband's pork roja was not hot, but was easily warmed up! Out little outdoor table on the side made us feel like we were in Cuba. I would have loves a little Cuban music & a little table light (fake candle) for some ambiance, but I realize it's in a neighborhood.
