Mediterranean salad with a sweet dressing. Oh, sooooo good.

This place was so awesome. From the moment we sat down until we left the wait staff was very nice and engaging and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere was quaint and personal and just a wonderful atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

Pros: overall it was a good experience. I just stumbled upon this place walking through the town . Originally went for brunch but the regular menu was to hard to pass up . The staff were friendly . It took a little while to get a table due to the rush of brunch but was able to sit at the bar and the bartender was very helpful . The food was good and drinks really good . The ambiance was casual and comfortable . Cons: would've loved more mimosa specials for brunch . The food was good but I believe could've been more flavorful .

THE PERFECT EXPERIENCE! My friends and I have been eyeing this spot for months and finally got to go. The drinks were perfectly priced (and they have a happy hour!), some of the appetizers were also half priced during that time! The dishes were made with authenticity and love! I appreciate the waitstaff being so attentive and willing to give recommendations! Lots of seating and very spacious! Music makes you want to dance

I found out about this restaurant from an influencer on Instagram and I'm so happy I decided to have lunch here with my family. It's located in Tarrytown New York. The menu had plenty of Cuban style dishes to please your palette. I had the Camarones al ajillo with white rice and beans, my husband had the salmon with rice and beans, my sister had the bongo bowl which you can customize to your liking with different proteins and yellow or white rice and beans. My son of course had his favorite from the kids menu the chicken fingers and fries. The chicken fingers were a little over fried, but other than that the food was flavorful and fresh. The service was excellent. The ambience is trendy and casual. I want to go back and try their brunch menu so stay tuned for that review...

    Avocado salad with steak

Solid brunch spot but the hunt for a good Cuban sandwich continues. Here's what we ordered: 1. Guava/cheese empanada: 3/5. I was expecting a chunkier filling instead of the oozing liquid that burned my tongue when I bit in (definitely let this cool after it hits your table). It tasted like fruity, sugary extract. If you told me it was strawberry instead of guava, I'd believe it. 2. Shrimp fritters: 2/5. Extremely salty and not a lot of shrimp flavor; the exterior was well-fried though. 3. Avocado shrimp with steak: 4/5. The steak came in these thinly sliced sheets that reminded me of Korean beef bulgogi but was tender and nicely seasoned. Salad had generous chunks of avocado and cheese, though I picked out more than a few slimy, rotten leaves. 4. Cuban sandwich: 2/5. This was the item I was most excited to try and it fell flat. The sandwich was basically two large slabs of bread with a small amount of actual meat/cheese/pickles in between, which, fine, but the bread itself was stale and dry. Sweet potato fries, while a generous portion, were drowning in their own grease. Our waitress was nice but was clearly swamped by the brunch crowd. Little things got missed, like red onions in the salad despite my request for no red onions and no water/drink refills.

Out again with my gf Allie needing a bite after getting are nails done . The cube inn is conveniently located off main street and we walked in ; and we found a friendly bartender who welcomed us offered a drink and menu. Fabulous we sent in empanadas chicken and beef which we split ...and were quite good. Then we shared a picadillo which is ground beef served with rice black beans and maduros (sweet plantains). I enjoyed I've had better but it was good and the staff was very nice . I saw them quickly make room for a group of 10...nice . The coconut minus was good too. I think I want try there brunch next and i appreciated the places warmth thank you .

What a great place! We had eyed The Cube In for quite some time, and we finally had an opportunity to go recently when we went to Tarrytown for a concert. We hit up Tarrytown early so that we could dine downtown, and I'm glad we decided on Cube Inn. We all ordered from their drink menu to start, and all the drinks were tasty! Next up, we tried some appetizers. My favorite was the chicken wings. As for mains, we all stuck with Cuban-inspired favorites. I had the Picadillo, which was utterly delicious. Tony had the pork, which was tender and tasty. One of our neighbors who went with us that night, tried the Cuban Sandwich. He said it was really good. And when I looked over to the table next to me, I noticed a few people had ordered burgers. I had food envy, as these looked really tasty, too! I would definitely return to this place if I am around Tarrytown during dinner time! And, I recommend that you check it out as well. You will be pleased!

The bodeguita and a virgin pina coloda 8/10

The food was ok, not bad at all... however, nothing that gave that urge to return or try anything else on the menu. I like when food leaves me wanting more or wanting to return for other options. The place is dope, I love the ambiance, the drink menu is pretty amazing and the service was absolutely great. Food- 7/10 Drinks- 8.5/10 Ambiance- 9/10 Service-10/10

The service was excellent! I didn't care for my paella. It was too salty and the pieces of chicken were too big. The Ropa Vieja, rice and beans and plátanos were really good. The Margarita was good also.. will definitely go back by choose another dish.

Abdul, our bartender, remembered my name, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. It's those personal touches that create a memorable dining experience. During our meal, we accidentally ordered the wrong paella. We knew it was our mistake and never intended to ask for a replacement. However, the owner overheard our conversation and immediately stepped in to make it right without hesitation. That level of hospitality and customer care is rare and speaks volumes about how they treat their guests. The attention to detail extends to the bar as well. Their Old Fashioned is made the way it should be--with a large ice block that keeps the drink cold without watering it down. As John Taffer often says, "If an Old Fashioned doesn't have a large ice block, they're not paying attention to detail." Basque clearly does. If you're looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a restaurant that truly cares about its customers, I highly recommend Basque. Give it a try--you won't be disappointed.

The seafood paellas are portion perfect ie; large, the tapas favorites include garlic shrimp, octopus, croquetas, Iberico ham, lamb chops, and seasonal specials. Because the dining room is relatively small, expect a noisy environment. Weekend waits can be long because of this restaurant's popularity, but it is so worth the wait. The staff is friendly, the clientele is neighborly, and you're guaranteed to enjoy your restaurant experience here. For Piermont, it's one of the strongest dining experiences available, particularly if one enjoys sharing plates. If you're going for the first time, I'd order the garlic shrimp, a few tapas to share, and one of the paellas for the table. Thank you Benny for bringing Piermont to our neighborhood. *For those across the river in Westchester, enjoy Basque in Tarrytown.

Almost a perfect 5 stars - see below…read more What a nice complete dining experience from start to finish Great friendly staff- we started with very easy to use valet parking. Vida is a beautiful restaurant with both downstairs and upstairs elegant indoor dining areas. No wonder Westchester Magazine gave Vida an award for dining room/bar decor. A top feature includes elegant sconce ceiling lights and a formal dining room table for 12 placed on an Indian tapestry rug in the upstairs dining room. The outdoor area is very well designed. The restaurant designer deserves major credit for taking a porch overlooking two major roads and cutting down poor view scapes and noise. Your eyes while standing and sitting at tables along the porch edge are drawn towards the curtains and well designed wooden features. Roadway noise is minimized and allows conversation. The food is unique- no standard Westchester lasagna or meatballs here. We had tasty crispy zucchini ( $22) flowers stuffed with fresh ricotta. The small plate had two flowers, three would have been better for the price. The next small plate was 3 sea scallops ($24) with a stacked diced tomato and cucumber salad. Very fresh with a nice sauce. Here again, 4 scallops would have been nice for the small plate price of $24. The third and 4th small plate with crispy 1/2 sized small potatoes ($18) with a spicy cumin or paprika based creama. Excellent hearty dish with the carbs needed for a full belly for two people. The 4th small plate ($28) was the winner - crispy rice stacked with fresh tuna steak and vegetables. A delicious memorable dish. Great spice use. The two mocktails were excellent along with a cold16 ounce pilsner and a large 6 oz + pour Chardonnay. If you are looking for a different place to go for a memorable diner- Vida is highly recommended. Yes. It's a bit pricey- but the dining experience is superb. Note- if it's important to you- bring cash, a $5 charge for credit card use.
