I called this morning to schedule an appointment to get my hair cut and colored. I've never been to this salon so I asked a few questions. The women that was assisting on the phone said I would need a consultation before I could get services so she helped me find an appointment. She informed me that I would need to give her a credit card number. I wasn't opposed to it but I informed that I didn't have it on me and if I could call her back. She quickly hung up on me. She had my information and and could have easily called me back to say that she apologizes for disconnecting the line quickly if it was an accident. I took this as my interest in this salon was not welcomed because I didn't have my credit card number ready to give her. I just wanted to share my feedback with the manager/ or owner. read more

I came here for a bridal hair trial the day of my engagement pictures because my regular hair lady was off (I had never been to this salon). I requested Nicole because a coworker recommended her. I checked in and probably waited 15 minutes or so. She styled my hair in between another appointment. I wanted a Dutch French braid crown and wavy hair. Someone else helped out with the braid. One thing I didn't like was she used those automatic hair curling irons. By the time I got home my hair was almost flat - and it's not because my hair doesn't hold curls because it definitely does. Anyways, my hair still looked good for my pictures but I didn't end up making an appointment to come back on my wedding day. I don't think we had that connection that you usually get when you click with your hair person, ya know. Also, I was butthurt about $100 for a hair trial. read more

I am a spur of the moment kind of person. I don't sit and think about if I want to do something, I just go out and do it. So this morning I woke up and told myself I needed a haircut. 2 hours later I am on the phone with the closest salon to my work(4 min drive) and scheduled a same day appointment. I literally was able to hang up the phone and get into my car and drive over to the salon. I am also not picky. As long as it looks good and it's easy to fix then we are all good. I got to the salon and immediately sat down with Liz. She is so super sweet! We hit it off right away. I'm a chatter box so it's great when your stylist is not quiet and loves to chat too! I knew right away that she would get me. All I had to do was show her a picture and that I wanted it short. I like to leave my hair in the hands of the professional. I figured I know nothing about hair so I always tell my stylist to have at it. As long as it is easy and it looks good then we are good. Within 40 mins I was done and done! I walked out of there feeling like a new person! She cut my hair, gave it a good blow dry and that was it. No flat iron or curling (which is awesome because I am a mom who needs something easy). I randomly called David Salon for a same-day walk-in appointment back in March and was set up with Wayne Peterson... OMG, love, love, loved my cut, blowout and WAYNE! Have since been back for a trim and couldn't be happier. Wayne is the first stylist to ever ask me specifically both what I like and don't like about my hair. Also really love his blow-outs, which is very rare. I'm keeping Wayne for as long as he'll have me. Very nice salon, nice people and lots of great products (Ergo blow-dry brushes where have you been all my life!). Highly recommend David Salon! read more

I am so happy I found Sofia at the David Salon. I have fine, very curly hair and have a really hard time finding people who know how to work with hair like mine. I wanted a big change in my hair, and for some reason trusted Sofia to make that change happen, even though I had never had her cut my hair before. She gave me one of my favorite haircuts ever, and I get compliments on it all the time! She really took her time, and talked to me about my hair routine, and what could work for my kind of hair. I wanted to have my hair cut at a salon with excellent customer service but was extremely disappointed with my experience here. The hairstylist was experienced but I got charged $30 for "first-time" consultation fee which I was not informed about when booking my appointment by phone. Going for a haircut should NOT require a consultation fee, I mean I'm not going in for a surgery. I ended up paying an additional $30 - $40 above the discussed amount at an already expensive salon. I told the receptionist about my experience but it seems like the salon isn't motivated enough to make sure their customers are satisfied. read more
