Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. I loved it all and enjoyed the conversation with the bartender with the I Love Indie Horror hat. Some good ones out there that aren't being made like they use to!!

That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment. Stopped in little after lunch time and surprised to see full bar and few tables. I had coconut with me so we sat outside on the patio. Roadie and Kat are very friendly and welcoming. They provided water dish for coconut. We ordered fried green beans and onion rings for appetizers. The green beans are addicting. I really didn't even need ranch for them. They were tasty on its own. If i see clam chowder it is a must to try. Was not disappointed, ordered ab extra cup Togo for a friend to try it out. The fish n chips just wow. The fish is so flakey and tender. Also, I think the bar should be able to validate a valet ticket, especially when one drink can cost $25. The food is typical bar food. Nothing stands out here as unique or exceptional. I come here for the ambiance. That said, the outdoor area is fabulous. I love the views and sitting by the fire pits on a chilly night. However, in the summer, spring and fall, when it is hot outside, I do not understand why the fire pits are on! No one wants to sit by a fire when it's 80+ degrees. I'm sure it looks cozy and nice from the hotel rooms, but it is not practical. Last weekend a few of my friends met there and we sat outside. We saw 6 mice running around very close to us. I understand this place is in what used to be a field, but at a 5-star hotel, I expect better rodent control. A qualified, experienced exterminator could handle this. I am happy that the Omni is so close to my home. Living in Prosper, I am grateful that we finally have a classy place to go.
