Couldn't say enough good things about this place! The staff are all extremely friendly, personable, and attentive to your order. I got there and they were a little busy but was still able to get my hot sandwich within a few minutes wait. The Luau is a slice of pizza with a nice kick as a sandwich. It's not something I'd normally order but glad I did. The cookies (peanut butter) was spot on. Had a nice soft center, lots of crunch peanut bits and a very good size. I've been meaning to write a review for The Dons for a while now. The best addition to our neighborhood in a long time the staff is always very friendly greet you when you come in and looks like they actually like working there. The food is excellent and good proportions for the money. I also like that they have a wide menu from salads to sandwiches and are very flexible if you need to do a customization and their cookies are delicious as well. My go to favorites are the tri tip French dip sandwich and the Cubano. I'm hoping they continue to get steady business especially during this pandemic and stay in Mountain View for a long time. read more

This place just opened up this week where the old Subway used to be. I stopped in tried "The Slammer" on dutch crunch and it was delicious. The dutch crunch was just right and didn't cut up the roof of my mouth. The employees were super friendly and gave me a card for a free side and also hooked it up with a free cookie since it was opening week. Working nearby, we used to either make the drive to Sandwich Spot, Roger's Deli, or Ike's, but now that this is much closer we will be hitting up this spot most often. read more

The food isn't terrible, but it's just not to my taste. I've had a couple different sandwiches, most recently the chipotle chicken. You get some good heat with that sandwich, but that's the only taste that comes though. The fries would have been good except the fact that there was way too much salt on them, I just couldn't eat more than a few of them. You get a free cookie with your sandwich, which is nice, but I didn't really care for the cookie either. I had a few bites but didn't finish all of it (same as my sandwich and fries, which is a bummer because I came hungry). read more

OH WOW!! I visited today (Sunday) at about 2:45. Lots of customers. This was my first time here. I ordered the NOLA which is a spin on the New Orleans Muffalat sandwich. It was really good and very close to the original. I ordered the Cobb Salad for my mom. It could have easily fed 2 people. They accidentally forgot to add the blue cheese crumbles, but that's ok, human error. The 2 young men who were working were hustling and working hard. One thing I really admired was I thought I paid with a 20 dollar bill and said keep the change. He called me back and said I gave him a 50! What honesty! I'm from Milpitas. OMG! This place makes the best sandwiches (and mozzarella sticks and onion rings). Their soups look good, though I haven't tried them.
