The super popular pancakes were okay, I wouldn't call them airy but rather very dense and filling. My kids love ordering pancakes when we go out for breakfast/brunch, but I don't think these would rank in their top 5. The tofu scramble was something different, wasn't expecting chunks of tofu. They were mildly flavored, wish I could have tasted the ginger more. The mushrooms and kale were flavored well. My experience was just okay honestly. We ordered pancakes, avocado toast, chicken sausage and bacon. Pancakes - Fluffy, with an amazing hit of sweetness that was absolutely delicious. We came here around noon on a Saturday and there was no wait. FOOD We opted for several options including the: +The Buttermilk Cloud Pancakes +Mac Cadillac Burger +Smoky Tom The pancakes were so light and fluffy and came with a topping of strawberries on top. You can also choose to add blueberries or chocolate chips for an additional charge. FYI - we ordered it with CC and the chips were not infused in the pancakes / the batter, they were place on the top of each stacked pancake. By default, the mac cadillac burger comes with a beyond burger veggie patty, but you could also opt for subbing in a smash style beef patty. The burger was so tasty, cooked to the right consistency and very flavorful. I would absolutely order this again. SERVICE Service was standard and the staff was very friendly. A wonderful gem of a lunch and coffee spot! Super friendly service, and lovely personal touches like the beautifully decorated coffee cups and chalkboard. This was my second trip here and boy am I glad I came back. The breakfast quinoa bowl was a great mash of flavor. The quinoa was bland as expected.. and hella grainy so I already went in with a 0 for expectations but the egg and the other veggies (that they added cheese too) was a nice touch to bring it all together, so the bland quinoa wasn't even a factor in da meal tbh. The texture was great there was fried cheese in it which I loved however the flavor overall was so bland. I almost felt like asking for salt/pepper or some hot sauce. My friend got the Tequila Sunrise sandwich sans the bacon and she absolutely loved it. The home fries were tasty, perfectly crisp and I love the cut of them. The Cold Brew was good. Honestly some of my favorite food in Edison. The menu itself is pretty normal, but everything is so well made. I really like their vanilla lattes (the quality can fluctuate but when it's good, it's really good). I usually get the Mac Cadillac with home fries. It's a simple burger done really well. I am vegetarian but the crispy chicken bruschetta sandwich is apparently amazing. The place itself is really cute and there's a lot of love in the details. I came here with some friends for lunch to see what this new brunch spot was about since it opened a while ago. The service: The staff members here are very friendly and helpful with the menu. They have social distancing between guests and the tables that they are serving. Chicken Burger: The chicken is cooked perfectly and is not dry. The chicken has taste and has the taste of the jalapeno mayo. French Fries: The French fries do not have salt and I wish they had given a little more ketchup. On a quick Google search for vegan food, this place came up. This is the second time I've come to this restaurant. There is literally only one (sort of) vegan option on the menu and it looks like a plate of leftovers. The potatoes are unrecognizable. I was eating it and questioning why they did that to a perfectly fine vegetable. It looked massacred. The omelette was good but I felt like it needed more flavour even with the hot sauce on the side. The pancakes were really fluffy and delicious by themselves however, the cinnamon apples were not that great unfortunately, I wish they had peeled it and it was not as soggy. We've been aware that there has been a change in ownership, and have been back several times, desperately hoping that the food hasn't changed. The good news is that the breakfasts we usually order (a few omelets) has stayed the same. Same recipes, same taste. Great! What HAS changed is the service. The 4 or 5 times we've been back since new management - well, service has been just lousy. Today, we decided to go for lunch. I had a chicken sandwich, and it was okay. My wife made the mistake of ordering a burger - she's been craving a burger and that's why we came - and she was delivered a couple of frozen burger patties, that even with onions, bacon, mushrooms was still just a frozen burger. 17 bucks - and for that money we can go anywhere and get a decent burger. Service today was par for the course - plain crummy. We waited a long time to order (only after I made eye contact with one of the several waiters who were standing around on their phones or talking. Order came out reasonably quickly. My wife asked for mustard (yeah, a crime) and eventually was delivered a cup of honey mustard sauce. That was the end of the interactions, until I made eye contact and could get their attention to get the bill. A total lack of attention, no caring, no nothing - until it was my turn to dial in a tip. We paid 40 bucks for a most mediocre lunch with poor service. What a shame. This place used to be great. read more

It looks good and have a nice atmosphere. It is a pity they close at 8pm. The hot chocolate was undrinkable (milk tasted expired), the avocado was brown, the turkey in the wrap was pink like ham and tasted off. The fries were soggy/uncooked. When we called to let them know, the manager said this was not possible as the food was made in front of him and that we were making it up. He was extremely rude and unhelpful. As a loyal customer since they opened 5 years ago, they have lost my business and many others. The quality was made even worse by the managers aggressive behavior. I finally convinced myself to try it, thanks to some helpful reviews here! These pancakes were Big. By my estimate, they bordered on an inch think, but at the same time were extremely fluffy and moist like cake. The perfect pancake. Add the chocolate chips ($0.75), they are worth it! The Quinoa Breakfast Bowl ($12.50) was also delicious. The over easy eggs were done just the way I prefer; slightly runny in the center. In my opinion, it was a bit on the under-spiced side, but I still enjoyed it. It felt healthy and nutritious with the quinoa, avocado, and other veggies. We finally tried this place out on a Saturday morning. We waited about 15 minutes for a table for two. The line was getting longer behind us (around 11:30-12pm). Service was very friendly and pretty quick. We ordered the almond crushed French toast, Smoky Tom omelette, and a grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious! I'd recommend the home fries. My personal favorite was the grilled chicken sandwich - it comes with Gouda cheese and a delicious dressing. I visited here today for breakfast/ brunch. The place was pretty busy for 9AM but in a good way. It was nice to see so many people gathered for food over the weekend. Despite the amount of people there, the ambiance and service were really great. Our waitress was really attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. We ordered a London fog latte, some black coffee, avocado toast with eggs and a tofu scramble. I just had my latte because I had lunch plans later but everyone I was with really enjoyed their food.
