We stumbled upon this Wine and Donut Pairing while out for my birthday. They had a bridal shower just before and the guests weren't great about their event ending and this one starting. So it felt quite awkward waiting for them to clear out. Better solving between the events would've been nicer or making sure the first event ended on time so others didn't feel awkward. The place is very charming, though rather small. But it's great for the small town charm it is going for. They have a great wine selection and even had bottles on sale that we bought a few of. The wine pairing was $25 per person and it came with 6 tastings and 6 donut holes. It was set up at the bar so you did have to leave your table each time and take your glass to be filled and grab the next donut. It would've been nicer if it would've been passed around and we could've stayed seated. They do have a cute front and side patio that would be nice to use in the cooler months in Houston. Overall a great little place to pop into with some family or girlfriends to laugh and relax a bit.

The ambiance and service was amazing we should've got the charcuterie board it looked amazing wish my sweet red was chilled but the rose was amazing! I will definitely go back again.

I visited this place at 4 PM, just when it opened so I had the whole place to myself. The location is great! There is ample outdoor seating. It's located between a burger joint and a taco place plenty of food options for the family. I sat indoors because it was so hot out. I could see myself taking my family here and sitting outside. The kids can get burgers or tacos while I can enjoy a glass of wine outdoors. The service was excellent. I was literally the only one there so I don't know how it is if it's busy. I ordered a bottle of Malbec for $40, which I feel like is overpriced, but not AS overpriced as some other places. I also ordered a charcuterie for $30, which again, I feel like prices are ok compared to other places. I didn't get anything else. I really enjoyed the charcuterie, except the trail mix part. I feel like this cheapened the look and the overall flavor-profile. I would have rather have roasted almonds in lieu of the trail mix. The almonds would complement the honey more than the trail mix they had. The place was clean while rustic, really cute. I could see inviting friends here to hang out and just enjoy wine. The bathrooms were also rustic in decor, but clean. I'm not sure about their toilet design. The "rust" in the toilet bowl kinda grossed me out. There were no changing tables, but then again, this is a wine place, not really for kids. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I would totally go back. Note, don't expect food -food at this place. If you want food-food with your wine, then I would go somewhere else. This place is wine first, food secondary.

Just opened back up. Very cozy atmosphere. Limited wine selection due to just opening. Super nice staff. Support them. They're a locally owned business.

I love this quaint little wine bar in old Tomball. Great selection of local wines and beers as well. We tried the Sangria and a charcuterie board and it was perfect for to wind down the day. They offer tastings inside which I did not do and have ample seating accommodations inside and outside. They also feature select wine flights for the season. Will be visiting more often .

We went on a Thursday at 6:15 p.m. It was fairly busy but we were seated immediately. The waitress arrived right away and had our drinks out quick. I ordered my normal Grey Goose martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. The olives were small and were marinated which added a unique twist that I liked. My friend ordered a drink she was raving over, Dazed and Confused. It was lemony and incredibly refreshing. We started with the Foie Gras Meatballs. Delish! It's like a creamy meatball. I ordered one of the specials: Flat Iron steak (MR) with Brussel sprouts. The steak was a little on the rare side but it was still amazing. Lightly charred on the outside with a drizzle of a sauce I couldn't place. We finished with their little trifecta of desserts: Creme Brulé, Key Lime pie and chocolate mousse. It was a perfect finish to an amazing meal. Side note: my friend that recommended this restaurant had dined here 4 times in 2 weeks. She is obsessed! lol

We know exceptional hospitality when we experience it, and we absolutely know a GOOD drink when we FEEL it. And Bonfire delivers on all three--every single time. Everything about this restaurant is a 10/10 for us. What makes it even more special is that every time we visit, we receive the exact same level of service, food, drinks, and hospitality. Chef Joe is incredibly passionate about what comes out of his kitchen, and he'll personally come out to greet you and make sure you're having an amazing experience. From owner Tracy, to the General Manager, bartenders, the BEST server ever--Christian--and the entire staff, everyone makes you feel genuinely welcomed. And I have to give a special shoutout to my favorite bartender, who makes a Carajillo Old Fashioned like NO OTHER! I could go on and on, but I don't want to leave anyone out because this entire team is phenomenal. And let me tell you--the Chef's Table is by far the best table in the house! Watching these guys work that line with such precision, rhythm, and teamwork is honestly rewarding and refreshing. You get dinner AND a show! Locally owned, locally operated, incredible food, incredible drinks, and hospitality that keeps us coming back. Bonfire is a GEM--and we're lucky to have it right here in Tomball!

As this is basic Spanish food cooking technique is paramount and current chef clearly does not understand/have skills. The gazpacho was recently overly thick and creamy (more bread and olive oil) and was lacking fresh vibrant vegetable flavor. Plus it wasn't as chilled in past (did they originally use a little bit of ice during pureeing? And now stopped). The paella was a total mess. It arrived soupy with a quarter inch of liquid still in bottom of pan. While not "overcooked " to mushy. The rice was well past al dente. Obviously achieving socarrat was impossible. While yellow it was lacking ANY distinct saffron flavor that it used to have. I also did not notice any threads- have they now gone to powdered saffron and cut back on amount too???? The Torta San Sebastian was still "very good" but it's crust was overcooked and gummy. TBH, it really wasn't that bad and normally I wouldn't comment but given above complaints I feel it is part of a trend. We have been coming here about 4X per year. Will still come back to try Tapas, but again their basic Spanish Tapas require a deft cooking technique- so we'll see how those go. Oh well, As George Harrison wrote in 1970 "All Things Must Pass" This is not an uncommon trend in Mom & Pop places - once successful, staff get hired to replace overworked family and quality deteriorates I kept it at 3 stars because food wasn't terrible nor inedible. Just nothing special. Poorly made average American version of European classics. I am also holding out hope that it gets better- I have to believe other regulars have commented (or did they just quietly stop coming? Which is the worse)

We entered to a friendly staff who sat us immediately. The vibe is very modern with some Mexican influence. For drinks I got a Mezcalina, my wife got a normal margarita normally I don't love Mezcal, but was feeling adventurous and this drink did not disappoint, it exploded with flavor and was my favorite drink I have had here. The bar program might be the best of any restaurant in the area, as it should be since they have a speakeasy as well. In my previous trip they brought us complimentary chips and salsa, but the time they brought Mexican hummus and pita. I was initially disappointed, but this was one of the more unique complimentary dishes I have had, and loved it. For starters, we got the TOSTADA CHUTORO, which was a tostada with raw fish and caviar. There were two, and although smaller bites to share, the flavor once again really shined through. I would say this is similar to a ceviche dish with really fresh fish and bright flavors.

Food was good, but I'm not sure if I could consider anything spectacular enough to justify some of the prices. I decided on the Aguachile Wagyu, which was perfectly cooked and paired with charred herbs. Very enjoyable for a small high-protein meal. My friend ordered Tacos de Filete, which she said were, "okay." We also had a few drinks... They were heavy pours. My only complaint is that the tajin-salt rims were more for decoration (smeared across the side of the glass and not very hygienic) rather than for the palette. Worth mentioning: We were never offered any chips or salsa, although I've read reviews where other patrons enjoyed some before their meal. Our server was friendly, but a bit disconnected.... Maybe that was the biggest problem - - the experience was diminished due to lackluster service.
