I'm an escape room enthusiast and I loved this place!! My team was only 3 and we did Sky Lounge and SASHA back to back, and escaped both!! Our gamemaster, Jerry, made the whole experience, especially when we were escaping SASHA. He really paid attention and offered hints only when we were really struggling. I do appreciate that he really abided by the level of help we requested initially. Most places will give you X number of hints which can add pressure to the experience, but Wild Goose offers unlimited hints but based on your groups preference. We are frequent escape room visitors and decided to give this place a try! We selected the SASHA room which was AI themed. I like how this theme was different. since a lot of escape rooms are like relics, zombies, etc. We made a reservation and everything was fairly quick to get us situated and started in our room. I would say this one was not as exciting compared to other rooms, and a bit small. I like how it did not rely too heavily on locks and codes. The Game Master was not too involved and honestly not very enthusiastic. I think when you do have game masters that are really fun, it really improves the game. We did the elevate sky lounge room! I arrived Friday evening around 530pm and it was easy to find parking. But it is located in diamond jamboree so it can get very busy and parking would've been much more challenging later on Friday. They give lockers to put our personal items in. The room itself was fun! I like that there were two rooms. It was somewhat challenging and we needed 2 hints. Unfortunately one of clues we were unable to get because there was a slight mess up in one of the clues the room but they told us the answer because of that. Booked an escape room for the first time for a 21st birthday, reserving S.A.S.H.A. for 9PM. We arrived early to the plaza and were greeted as we walked into Wild Goose. We scanned the QR code and filled out the release form. We were provided some friendly information about the room and then led down the hall to the front door. At the door we were given instructions on how the "house" worked and what would be expected of us once inside. We were given a 60 minute time limit to solve the mystery of S.A.S.H.A. but little did I know time was continually added to the clock. And to think, I thought we were doing so well...LOL! Regardless of the time remaining on the clock or how long it took to finish the room, we had a great time. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. I can see why this wasn't rated for individuals new to escape rooms but I did want us to be challenged, which we were. The puzzles were interesting and usually a combination of two pieces that had to be put together in order to solve the puzzles we had. Each puzzle solved was one step closer to gaining control of the house from S.A.S.H.A. Overall, the three of us had a wonderful time exploring the rooms and solving the puzzles. The facility was clean and well organized. We were given everything we needed by the staff prior to starting. We did receive help from S.A.S.H.A. if we asked nice. This was to help us move forward in the puzzles. All in all, I would recommend this escape room! read more

We have done all of the rooms at Wild Goose Fullerton and one of their rooms in Huntington Beach, but this was our first time to their Irvine location. They have two escape rooms here, S.A.S.H.A. which is also at their Fullerton location, and Elevate: Sky Lounge which is only here so we grabbed a few friends to come and try it. They are located on the second story of the Diamond Jamboree shopping center. Their reminder email had some useful information about parking. The lot on that side of the building was pretty much full, but there is a parking garage behind the center which had plenty of spots so we parked there. Your car will also stay cool in the parking garage instead of it sitting out in the sun for an hour or more. Out of the many escape rooms we have done, many of the rooms at Wild Goose are among the most challenging. I definitely mean that as a compliment. This room had an interesting theme and I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a lot of fun and it was definitely a good challenge for us. It is a mix of linear and non-linear with a big variety of puzzles including locks, mechanical puzzles, and unique puzzles. Strong teamwork and good memory were extremely helpful. We didn't know if we were going to make it out in time, but we managed to solve the last puzzle with a mere 52 seconds remaining. We only needed a few hints, but our game master Sam was great and she helped us with the final push upon our request for help when the clock was running low. It is always nice when the game master asks ahead of time if you only want hints when asked for, or if you would like nudges when it seems like you are stuck. She was great at honoring our desire for "only when requested". She took our group picture and emailed it soon afterwards. They have discounts if you do multiple rooms on the same day, and they also give you a code for a small discount for your next visit. Came as a party of four on Sunday night and did the Elevate: SkyLounge room. It was empty and the check-in process was easy. The person who checked us in was friendly and walked us through the instructions very clearly and was helpful throughout. We really enjoyed the creativity and, though we did use a hint, it was a good level of difficulty where it was still enjoyable for a smaller group. Would come back again! read more

Recently, my friends and I have been going to a lot of different escape rooms in Orange County. We actually had plans to go somewhere else unfortunately that business was unprofessional and we had to change our plans in the very last minute. It was so nice how accommodating and friendly Wildgoose escape rooms. The Irvine location is the person at the front desk named Sam was super helpful and nice and the room that we got to choose to play in was called Sasha where the AI robot room smart house takes over and locks you in and you have to escape it. It was really smart and they made it dark inside too to make it harder to try to figure out the clue and the robot was talking as if you had no control on finding the clues overall really fun really smart and I would easily go back to try other rooms and apparently other locations that wild goose has has other themes as well. read more

Very cool and clever rooms! My group arrived slightly late but the receptionist/gamemaster gave us a grace period. He started us quickly after we finished the waivers and we entered the room almost immediately after. There is usually only 1 person running the 2 rooms but he was very efficient and we never felt abandoned during our game. The room was very clever too! We did the S.A.S.H.A. Went here for a family outing on Mother's Day with our kids and we had a great time! Our game master was Sam and she was very friendly and helpful. We played a newer game with an AI theme called SASHA. We really liked the puzzles and the tech that was used in the rooms. It was very modern and our whole family had a blast. I love the location of this Escape Room because it's surrounded by various food places. Also, we were quickly greeted by Duc when we went to do Elevate: Sky Lounge. He is absolutely a great game master even though he was working both rooms simultaneously by himself. There was never a moment we felt that we didn't have his guidance when we needed it most. Wild Goose has consistently had pretty great rooms, I've done about 4 of their rooms and decided to try Sky Lounge today! Very interesting concept, my partner and I spent way too long in the first room! But once we entered the second room, it was quite awesome! I loved the aesthetic of the room and there were quite a few puzzles for a small area, each were unique with a satisfying reward each time you hit a milestone in the room. I would say it was quite immersive I felt the desire and pressure to get the lounge in order before 'guests' arrived haha, but our GM Keefer was great and appreciated him asking about comfort of the hint system during our game! Our game master was named Natalie and she was very flat in her demeanor (she did not smile or speak in an enthusiastic manner). She was like an unhappy clown at a kid's party and that's an unfortunate memory I will associate with this location. We booked the S.A.S.H.A. room day-of on a Monday when my cousin was in town. The location itself has plenty of parking and is upstairs in Diamond Jamboree. The worker was really nice but we felt his explanation of the room was actually quite speedy. The room itself was reallllly cool and had a lot of cool multi-level components to the puzzles which we liked. The puzzles weren't SUPER hard but still fun to do and figure out. One thing we didn't like was that we didn't ask for hints but the worker or the system kept prompting us in a certain direction which kind of made it feel not as satisfying for us when we finished because it felt like we got help when we didn't want it. Family's first time here and we left incredibly impressed. We do escape rooms 2-3 rimes a year together, and were blown away by the Christmas room! We were a little hesitant, as online it said it was pretty difficult (christmas themed, how difficult could that be, when we are all adults), but we left saying it was one of our favorite escape rooms ever. We were laughing most of the time, and it was the perfect room for 3-4 people, as we all felt like we had something to do. The clues all went so well together, and there were some surprises along the way! We also loved that they don't give clues unless you ask (we actually felt accomplished figuring them out (even if one took us 10+ mins) vs being nudged due to time). The Escape Rooms is located on the second floor in a very busy plaza. No need to freak out about finding parking, just be patient and someone will eventually leave. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes early and check in and sign the waiver. You will watch a short video about the rules. There's also a small locker for you to leave your belongings. I had only done one escape room prior to doing the Elevate: Skylounge. It was my date's first time doing an escape room and he enjoyed it very much! Sophia was our game master and she was pleasant. Considering we weren't well experienced, we were given useful hints. It was pretty challenging in the beginning and there were moments where we were stuck. If it's your first time, don't be ashamed to ask for hints. I'm actually really glad that Sophia dropped hints along the way because we wouldn't have escaped. Plus it makes for a good experience for first-timers! I only recommend doing escape rooms with someone/people you communicate well with. It can also get pretty hot in the rooms, so don't bring a heavy jacket! What an awesome date night we had! read more

My friends and I (group of 5) completed the Elevate Sky Lounge escape room and had a lot of fun. I liked the theme and the way the room was decorated. I found the puzzles to be pretty clever and the technology behind some of the interactions of the props to be impressive. I am purposefully being vague as to not give anything away. We finished the room with 19 minutes left on the clock, so I did find that the room was pretty easy, and may have preferred a slightly harder one, but it was really fun just the same. Thank you to Wild Goose Escape Rooms Irvine for an awesome experience! We did their Elevate: Skylounge room and had a great time. To preface, their location is in the Diamond Jamboree Shopping Center which is notoriously busy, especially on a Friday night. Be aware that, if your escape room reservation is anywhere 5-9pm (and even beyond that), parking will be difficult so try to arrive early to account for this. Our reservation was at 9:50pm and the parking lot was still pretty packed! Despite this, we were lucky enough to find a parking space right away. Kenny was our game master and I appreciated how enthusiastic he was. He made sure we signed our waivers, showed us the safety video spiel, and introduced us to our room. I was impressed with the variety of puzzles and technology built into this room. Escape rooms can easily rely on different types of locks, but this one wasn't so heavy handed. The room is not necessarily linear and we were able to accomplish tasks by branching off our team of 4. The payoff of completing the puzzles was very satisfying. Surprisingly, we finished the room with 14 minutes to spare with no hints. That's not to say the room wasn't difficult -- we did have our moments where we stood there trying to figure out what to do!
