Our celebratory image taken by staff after completing the challenge

Booked an escape room for the first time for a 21st birthday, reserving S.A.S.H.A. for 9PM. We arrived early to the plaza and were greeted as we walked into Wild Goose. We scanned the QR code and filled out the release form. We were provided some friendly information about the room and then led down the hall to the front door. At the door we were given instructions on how the "house" worked and what would be expected of us once inside. We were given a 60 minute time limit to solve the mystery of S.A.S.H.A. but little did I know time was continually added to the clock. And to think, I thought we were doing so well...LOL! Regardless of the time remaining on the clock or how long it took to finish the room, we had a great time. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. I can see why this wasn't rated for individuals new to escape rooms but I did want us to be challenged, which we were. The puzzles were interesting and usually a combination of two pieces that had to be put together in order to solve the puzzles we had. Each puzzle solved was one step closer to gaining control of the house from S.A.S.H.A. Overall, the three of us had a wonderful time exploring the rooms and solving the puzzles. The facility was clean and well organized. We were given everything we needed by the staff prior to starting. We did receive help from S.A.S.H.A. if we asked nice. This was to help us move forward in the puzzles. All in all, I would recommend this escape room!

We have done all of the rooms at Wild Goose Fullerton and one of their rooms in Huntington Beach, but this was our first time to their Irvine location. They have two escape rooms here, S.A.S.H.A. which is also at their Fullerton location, and Elevate: Sky Lounge which is only here so we grabbed a few friends to come and try it. They are located on the second story of the Diamond Jamboree shopping center. Their reminder email had some useful information about parking. The lot on that side of the building was pretty much full, but there is a parking garage behind the center which had plenty of spots so we parked there. Your car will also stay cool in the parking garage instead of it sitting out in the sun for an hour or more. Out of the many escape rooms we have done, many of the rooms at Wild Goose are among the most challenging. I definitely mean that as a compliment. This room had an interesting theme and I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a lot of fun and it was definitely a good challenge for us. It is a mix of linear and non-linear with a big variety of puzzles including locks, mechanical puzzles, and unique puzzles. Strong teamwork and good memory were extremely helpful. We didn't know if we were going to make it out in time, but we managed to solve the last puzzle with a mere 52 seconds remaining. We only needed a few hints, but our game master Sam was great and she helped us with the final push upon our request for help when the clock was running low. It is always nice when the game master asks ahead of time if you only want hints when asked for, or if you would like nudges when it seems like you are stuck. She was great at honoring our desire for "only when requested". She took our group picture and emailed it soon afterwards. They have discounts if you do multiple rooms on the same day, and they also give you a code for a small discount for your next visit. I definitely give all Wild Goose escape room locations high marks.

Recently, my friends and I have been going to a lot of different escape rooms in Orange County. We actually had plans to go somewhere else unfortunately that business was unprofessional and we had to change our plans in the very last minute. It was so nice how accommodating and friendly Wildgoose escape rooms. The Irvine location is the person at the front desk named Sam was super helpful and nice and the room that we got to choose to play in was called Sasha where the AI robot room smart house takes over and locks you in and you have to escape it. It was really smart and they made it dark inside too to make it harder to try to figure out the clue and the robot was talking as if you had no control on finding the clues overall really fun really smart and I would easily go back to try other rooms and apparently other locations that wild goose has has other themes as well.

Very cool and clever rooms! My group arrived slightly late but the receptionist/gamemaster gave us a grace period. He started us quickly after we finished the waivers and we entered the room almost immediately after. There is usually only 1 person running the 2 rooms but he was very efficient and we never felt abandoned during our game. The room was very clever too! We did the S.A.S.H.A. Room which was well designed and flowed nicely. Overall highly recommend!

I love the location of this Escape Room because it's surrounded by various food places. Also, we were quickly greeted by Duc when we went to do Elevate: Sky Lounge. He is absolutely a great game master even though he was working both rooms simultaneously by himself. There was never a moment we felt that we didn't have his guidance when we needed it most. We loved the setup of the room and the puzzles. We are definitely coming back to do the other room. We look forward to checking out the other Wild Goose locations as well.

Ask the Community - Wild Goose Escape Rooms - Irvine

Are the bookings for private rooms or will we get matched with other people if our group is less than the maximum size?

Square Room is a private room as long as you booked the minimum number. We were a party of 4 and it was deemed private.

Is it good for kids, like the age between 8-12?

The Harry Potter-themed room would likely be good for that age group.

Is the Sorcerers Study room the one people are referring to as the Harry Potter room or has the room changed?

Yes, Sorcerer's Study is the Harry Potter themed room!

So excited to try Square Room Escape with family from Texas. Do we get a free hint?

They do give out a free hint. And then let you "earn" more by networking with them on Social Media before you go in.

The ladies working were so incredibly nice and helpful with giving guidance on which scents they thought would go well together when I couldn't decide. Once you've selected your scents, you get suggested measurements depending on which scents you want to be the top, middle or base note. And then you pour the oil into the wax. After that, I liked that you can choose what color you want the wax to be, and can even add shimmers. Once done, you can either wait 45-50 minutes til they're cooled to pick up or you can come back another day. I loved the way mine looks, and will be coming back for their perfume making class! Update: I lit both of the candles I made. One smelled more like candle wax than the oils I put in.. almost like a scented crayon. The other one smells better but it's very light. I would say both of them don't have a lot of throw. Still a fun experience overall but a bit of a bummer about the end product.

We began with the Aji tuna on crispy rice, topped with a delicate sliver of jalapeño and crispy shallots, a perfect balance of freshness, spice, and crunch. The second course was Stefanie's famous focaccia...one sweet and one savory. The savory version featured parmesan, her homemade bread and butter, pickles from her garden, and a touch of mustard seed. The bread, made simply with flour, water, and salt, takes two to three days to create. The sweet focaccia was equally impressive, topped with brie, honey, and a guava jam made from her own garden-grown guavas... truly special. Next came the sweet potato course, made from her garden's harvest and paired with roasted pine nuts and coconut-shaved gnocchi in brown butter. The flavors were rich yet comforting, and the presentation was artistic and thoughtful. The main course... short ribs with a stunning potato gratin, was a showstopper. The short ribs were tender and deeply flavorful, garnished with delicate edible flowers from her garden, while the gratin was layered beautifully and topped with a fragrant chimichurri. Dessert was one of the best I've ever had: a sticky toffee date cake with a caramel apple sauce made from apples in her garden, served with raw cream vanilla bean ice cream. The balance of warmth, sweetness, and texture was perfection. The wine pairings, thoughtfully curated by Oscar from Sequoia Grove Winery, elevated the entire experience, from the velvety Merlot to the bold Cabernet, every sip complemented the food flawlessly.
