I experienced my first escape room here, and I loved it! I was nervous I was going to fail epically, but I was with a great group that helped when I needed it, and all worked together really well. I am happy to say I have crashed their Escape Room group after doing this. And we solved it with 18 minutes left!!! It did get warm in there, but I get warm no matter what, and we were all running around trying to solve everything. The room we were in, did have a balloon you had to pump and pop and man did I scream when it popped, lol Parking is a bit challenging but we all found spots fairly quickly. read more

Of course we came back and this time it was for the Flynn's Arcade escape room! This was a gift for my brother's birthday and there were five of us in total. We were able to beat the room and with each new build, Brain Games is raising the bar. This is some of the most well-designed, immersive, and clever escape rooms I have ever seen. The staff is amazing, and was somehow able to keep track of all 5 of us while we did crazy things to try and solve the room. We did indeed escape! No spoilers. You will not be disappointed! I have not been to that many escape rooms, but Brain Games Escape Rooms will cause a new addiction! Thanks to the enthusiastic recommendation by Escape Room Master Peih-Gee Law, our group tried 2 games, Treasure and Flynn's Arcade. In a very unassuming office building, the owners must've spent a lot of time and money to decorate all of the details in these two rooms. Also, it's nice that the games are not "linear"; So multiple people can work on different riddles/puzzles of the escape room at the same time. Personally, I liked the Treasure room better because I felt that the games in this room was more fun, especially for a beginner escape room player like myself. However, my daughter liked Flynn Arcade better because she felt that it was more immersive.... which I definitely appreciate. The beginning and the end of the Flynn Arcade was amazingly brilliant! I was less fond of the code room, which I was told contained the traditional escape room puzzles. My only suggestion for Flynn's Arcade is for the hints in the code room to be larger for those of us who are short or have difficulty seeing with our older aged eyes. My only suggestion for Treasure is for the drawings to be more crisp for those of us with older aged eyes. I know that the drawings are supposed to be ancient and brown, but it makes it even more difficult for those of us who are older to participate. I thought I already wrote a review for this business, but I guess I will now! We have been to many escape rooms now, but this business is one that we keep coming back to. We have now tried three of the four rooms, and we were told there was another one opening next year. Treasure Island was our third ever escape room, and after eleven rooms so far, this is still our favorite one. You have to check this out. There is so much to it in regards to intricacy, space, and cool themes. We have also tried out Flynn's Arcade and the Mad Scientist. We still need to try the ghost themed room. I highly recommend coming here, and definitely try out Treasure Island. It may set the bar high for future rooms, but you'll have a blast. read more

We had two parties split between Flynn's arcade and treasure island and we both agreed the level of detail, interactive elements and overall decor were absolutely amazing. Brain Games Escape Rooms was an amazing experience for all members of our group. We went here a month or so back after coming across an advertisement for the Treasure Island Tiki-Themed Room and it definitely lived up to my expectations. For starters the theming in the room was amazing and really made me feel like I was in the Goonies. The puzzles were well themed and the automation and interactivity throughout was amazingly done. We all had a blast in this room and working together to solve the intricate puzzles and pay off that bar tab. We had several first timers in the group and they all seemed to come away genuinely impressed and ready to jump right back into action with other rooms. The mad scientist better be on the lookout because we will be coming for him and his room next. This was my favorite of the Escape Rooms we have completed thus far and I will definitely be back again soon. I only wish this place was closer. read more

We did both the Tron and Tiki rooms with a large group and there was enough for everyone to participate and have a great time. (This review is specifically for 20 Ghosts of Christmas) Easily one of my all time favorite escape room experiences! I haven't played this in its unChristmas form (yet) but this was so much festive fun with the added holiday highlights. The room can be booked with minimum 2, though that means skipping a few puzzles/ghosts to accommodate. Of course I was a little bummed to miss those, but the ones we got to were so much fun, I don't feel my experience was diminished at all. I did this with my best friend, an escape room newbie, who loved every minute of it also. Kudos also to our GM Sadie for storytelling and also gently keeping us on track when we were completely derailed. I appreciated that the room designers planned very small details and also very big surprises that really made us feel like kids. I'm glad my friend never had to endure a directional lock and every new challenge made us say Wow! even though I've done 100 rooms and this was her first. That's something special. read more

We went here yesterday for my brother's birthday and initially I had low expectations for this spot as I have a high bar for escape rooms like CROSSROADS. However, this escape room experience was very well done and impressive! The games were the perfect level of difficulty. They were not too challenging but challenging enough to make them fun to do! Also, nice art production and some fun effects! We thoroughly enjoy the TREASURE ISLAND room! They even gave free water and sodas (nice touch)! Seasoned escape room participant here. This location has a small parking lot with a few spots but you can also park along the wall. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sometimes they helped confirm parts of the answer (some may dislike that but I didn't mind because I was doing it with a bunch of teenagers who were first timers). We did the laboratory because it fit 10 people and they even allowed an extra person. I would say all the mechanics were good but not the most amazing I've seen. However there were so many puzzles that it worked to have so many people who can work on their own part. It was a bit chaotic but if you have someone to direct, it might be more organized. But that's the beauty of all escape rooms right? Learning to work together :) read more

I've done over 20 escape rooms to date, and this is the best one I think I've ever done! I absolutely loved the theme and the stories of the room. The decorations were amazing, the attention to detail from the ceiling to the floor and every inch of every room was spectacular. We did the pirate room and as a team of four who have done escape rooms together before,it was challenging but we were able to do it. This room is 75 minutes and is ranked more difficult than your average room, and I would agree with that assessment. Our game master was Michael, but honestly both game masters on duty that evening were kind, and courteous, and clearly loved the games. They stayed and talk to us after the game and were just such kind humans. I will go back and do the laboratory room in the future. This place has been getting a lot of hype so we had to go see it for ourselves. We booked the Treasure Island room which had a medium difficulty level. We were greeted by Dan, our host, when we arrived and gave us the VIP treatment the our entire visit. The room was an adventure from start to finish and the momentum was constant. There was a lot of layered puzzles sprinkled in a non-linear format and a bit linear too. The room wasn't hard, there were just a lot of steps to complete to move forward. There was a lot of cool special fx that add to the immersion. Huge wow factor from this room!!! We asked Dan if we could do The Laboratory even though it was the end of the night and he was able to accommodate us. The Laboratory was a bit more challenging with how much heavier it's puzzles were. You're able to adjust the difficulty between normal, hard, and very hard. We originally did Hard, but Dan mentioned he will increase the difficulty as he monitors our progress. So we ended up playing the Very Hard mode. We really liked how the puzzle flow was displayed to help keep track. Each player could select a puzzle flow to focus on. The set design was very plain since it was just a lab but it worked. It felt like a real lab doing some real work! For enthusiasts, I recommend playing this with the Very Hard level!!! read more

We saw a few ads for this joint across Facebook, so while we were in the area yesterday, we decided to drop in. We were BLOWN AWAY. Way above our expectations for humor, cleverness, interconnectedness of the puzzles, theming, and just genuine love for the fun of a good non-horror escape room. Dan was perfect with his interactions with us in Treasure Island, and made a 75-minute room for 8 super accessible for just 2 people. I can't wait to come back and do all their other rooms! Fun fun fun. If you like puzzles this is great entertainment for young and old adults. I booked this to spend time with my young adult kids and they are actually smarter than I remembered. We had fun solving the puzzles together. There were little surprises, clues to help along the way. The facilitator was very enthusiastic about the entire experience which made it fun too. Puzzles were unique and there are very little locks. Our game master was very funny and helpful. We had to use a telephone to contact the game master for clues. We did the Laboratory and the puzzles were kinda scientific which went with the theme. It's super fun and friendly! I would recommend 4 people max for the room.
