Super disappointed in the cake. I ordered a cake for my boyfriends 27th birthday in April around a month in advance. It was a custom cake that was supposed to be The Weeknd themed with a logo and my boyfriends name on the cake. The day the cake arrived, I opened the box to double check and the logo looked like it was drawn on last minute (I even included several sample pictures for reference) and they had put the wrong name on the cake. My boyfriends name is Austin not Jack. I was extremely disappointed as I had reiterated several times through email confirming my boyfriends name is Austin and even went so far as to bold his name multiple times in our email exchanges. The logo was even more disappointing. I had paid an extra $15 just to have the logo put on only to have to scrape it off because it didn't look anything like the reference picture. I ordered a cake for my boyfriend's birthday and the cake was completely dried out. The bottom layer was relatively moist, but the top two were completely dried out and crumbly. I got the strawberry flavored cake, and although it looked nice, there was definitely something wrong with the way the cake was made. After one slice, the whole cake was falling apart and leaning to one side. The strawberry was a cheap glaze and the frosting was too sweet. I can honestly say the quality and taste was on par, if not worse than a $10 store bought cake from a grocery store. I love, love desserts but after taking a couple bites, I threw it away. I asked for some sort of refund or repayment and Alexis asked if they could come by and pick up the cake. I agreed, but the cake was never picked up. She asked for photos of the cake instead, which I sent. I then had to chase for a response and after two weeks, she finally replied. No credit or refund was given as they were able to "track when it was made, frosted, and delivered, which was all within our 24-48 hr timeframe." Even if they were able to track this, the cake was completely unsatisfactory and poorly made. It ruined a special day and the store offered no help to remediate this.
