Mainly a to-go place. Orders are made to order so you know it's fresh and hot! You can either order with cashier or at kiosk. Menu is low-key overwhelming with pretty much the same stuff in different form, like a fish sando, fish and chips, etc. They do have a spicy rub you can request. It's one of those creep on you spices as you eat more of it, so beware! I like that you're able to pick your type of fish. I picked red snapper and the BF ordered catfish. The red snapper came with 3 pieces as they were smaller portions than the catfish which came with 2 pieces. We sat inside for a quick bite.. not the cleanliness, but it was quick. The fish was fried well and it was satisfying. They have special deals that are affordable too!

Found this place while looking for "fish fry" since a friend and I were talking about the dish. I'm happy I found this place and would be back. The food was solid, the service was friendly, and the pricing was reasonable. Most people seem to be doing takeout but there are a few seats in the cozy space and the staff keeps the dining area clean. The menu looks extensive but it's basically various combinations of their fried fish, chicken, shrimp or oysters with the various sides in various quantities. Since this was an afternoon snack/linner for me, I opted for just 2 pieces of fried catfish and 2 oysters. I also got half spicy and half regular so I can check out the various seasonings. The person taking my order told me it would be 10-15 minutes since they make every order as it comes in. My food came out in the middle of that time frame so if you want your food sooner, you should order ahead. I had time to kill and I wanted to eat my food right when it came out so I didn't mind ordering there. Everything was cooked perfectly, crispy and not too greasy. I personally preferred the spicy over the regular seasoning since the regular seasoning didn't have enough flavor for me. The catfish had a bit of a muddy flavor so if you don't like it like that, I would recommend trying the other fish. Cormeal crust is a bit on the thicker side. They took a break right after I got my order so I was in my car noshing on my eats while watching other people walk up and be disappointed that they were closed. If this is a regular thing, they should update their hours to reflect appropriately.

Awesome, great service! I saw to ask for spicy seasoning on the menu after placing my order, asked for it after placing my order, and it was still doable.

Unexpected fish and chips are their own special delight. This was certainly not the neighborhood in which I expected this fare. The cornmeal makes for a dry (not oily) crust. The Alaskan Pollock was tasty. The catfish will be next. The staff are friendly, efficient, and know their stuff. Their cook time estimates were spot-on. Despite a couple handfuls of chairs inside the usually quiet place, orders are packed to go because that's what the clientele wants. We ate in and enjoyed seeing the flow of people. Worth it.

Whenever I'm in search of something good to eat in the Bay Area I always check TikTok first. My search directed me to Southside Station! It's a small quaint establishment with a very quiet vibe. When I entered, there was a table of three gentlemen sitting there enjoying their selections. I checked in with them and got suggestions on what I should order. They made a recommendation, but I chose something totally different. I ordered the wings and garlic noodles with a side of brussels sprouts. This place is known for their fried chicken because it's so extra crunchy. They definitely did deliver on the crunch and the flavor. The garlic noodles were very garlic, which is what I liked, and the brussels sprouts were sautéed in a honey glaze. I decided to enjoy my food inside the restaurant as opposed to sitting outside where they have two tables set up. The young lady that took my order was ever so sweet and kind. She was the only one I saw in the restaurant behind the counter, but there may have been others working further in the back. There was an error on my order and she was quick to correct the error with an apology and a smile. The portion size was decent. I ended up taking home leftovers.

For the appetizers, we got the caprese salad ($19), cheesy garlic bread ($14), chicken wings ($18), and BBQ pork riblets ($18). The caprese salad was one of my favorites. The spring mix was super fresh, and even though I'm not the biggest cheese fan, I really liked the fresh mozzarella. The vinaigrette had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors, making this a great spring or summer salad. The BBQ pork riblets and chicken wings were both a little dry. I liked the seasoning on the riblets, while the chicken wings were a bit lighter in flavor. The cheesy garlic bread was, as expected, super cheesy! I didn't realize the roasted garlic was served on the side, and personally wasn't the biggest fan of its flavor, but the focaccia itself had a great texture. We also shared the Aries ($22), Mercury ($21), and Cassiopeia ($25) pizzas. The Aries was a classic pepperoni pizza with a nice thin crust, and the Mercury was a margherita pizza. I liked the fresh tomatoes, although I wish there had been more basil. The Cassiopeia was my favorite of the three, and I can definitely see why it's so popular. The BBQ sauce was super flavorful and paired really well with the chicken and onions. The spicy pork bibimbap a great meal, large in size, I ended up sharing this bibimbap on order to try out other menu items. The pork had a mild spice to it and the egg was runny which mixed well with the other components. This is my second favorite item. But my first favorite would have to be the rice tacos. We ordered a trio of salmon, tuna and crab salad. The shell was nice and crispy, and not hard like a rice cake. And the filling was delicious. the only downside is this is messy to eat. I tried two honey butter wings, a sweet flavor, and another time I tried the "sweet cheddar". Both were excellent, hopefully I can try the Yangnyeom next time for some spicy flavor. My niece loved the crispy chicken with cheese, that she couldn't stop eating it and I admit they were addictive, so crispy but still juicy.
