We live in the canyon creek neighborhood and have eaten here many times. We love the atmosphere. I've sit both outside and inside. The outside is so fun on a chilly night with all the fires going. Service is always amazing and the so is the food. My go-to is always some sort of fish dish. We usually take home a slice of key lime pie too!

In town for the night and looking to try something new. After searching several reviews we settled on The Fifth. We found it to be trendy and fresh with a great outdoor seating option, perfect for the evening of our visit. They did have the swamp coolers going on the patio, but it would have been nice even without them. The menu is small, yet the offerings ample and with a variety of American dishes. For starters we had the hummus plate, which came with a beautiful and tasty hummus with a variety of vegetables and pita for eating, outstanding. For entrees, she settled on the fried chicken salad and I had the chicken fried chicken, which came over mashed and creamed corn. Both meals were delicious! The service was good, the sever pretty attentive, although it could have been better. I did order a second cocktail for my meal that never came. Not a huge deal but a little better attentiveness could have sent this meal over the top. All in all a great experience and someplace I'd visit again.

Bestie and I stopped by to visit The Fifth on a Friday after work to enjoy happy hour. We started with the deviled eggs and brussel sprouts for an appetizer, which were both pretty good. Bestie ordered the pizza which was exceptionally flavorful, and I ordered the salmon tacos which were dry and had a strange taste. We decided to share the bread pudding and it was surprisingly delicious, as I don't typically enjoy bread pudding. As for the drinks, the blueberry lemon drop was a great option, it would have been better if they were a little heavier on the vodka. Lol The patio is cute, I might return again if I find myself in the vicinity again.

Newer restaurant in the area for us. We were given a gift card for our anniversary, so we gave it a shot. I ordered the French Dip sandwich and it was not what I was expecting, the onions were sweet and I removed them on the second half. The inside is wide open which was nice but very loud. The cocktails are pretty expensive and I did not enjoy them. The calamari was pretty good.

Picture this, Friday night....everything close to Dallas= 1.5 hour wait.... This place was wide open! Service= slow Wedge salad= yum! Prime rib French dip= soggy bread Banana cocktail =No Ham n cheese= palatable! Spicy! Not much else to say.... Welp, this is awkward.....

We visited The Fifth Fireside Patio & Bar for Sunday brunch and had an enjoyable experience overall. I ordered the prime rib sandwich with poblano cheese grits as a side, and also tried a mimosa and a bloody Mary. The grits were the clear standou; creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The sandwich had fresh, soft bread and the au jus was tasty, but the beef was slightly overcooked and had an "older" taste that was a bit disappointing. On the sweeter side, the limon ricotta pancake was excellent; perfectly light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The service was perfect, attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was upscale yet inviting. I recommend sitting in the upper-level booths if you can; they're cozy and offer some extra privacy. We're looking forward to returning to try more menu items and also their dinner service. With just a little more consistency on the food, this spot could easily become a regular favorite!

Chicken pesto Caesar salad with a side of Tomato Basil Soup

I had 4.5 hours in Dallas and needed to see two of my best friends and one of them worked by the University of Texas at Dallas, so I found this restaurant nearby. It did not disappoint. While I am on an eat healthier kick right now (or trying to be), I enjoyed the food. I got the chicken pesto Caesar salad with tomato basil soup. The tomato basil soup tasted amazing, especially on that really chilly day in Dallas. It wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be, but maybe tomato basil is thicker and I just didn't know it. The chicken pesto Caesar salad was light and had light dressing and it was tasty. I'd try both of these items again if I head back to this part of the DFW metro. The service was quick which was great since I needed to get back to the airport and the restaurant had just the right amount of noise in it.

We were in town for a family function and brought a group of 6 in for lunch. Service was friendly and quick, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. My favorite item was the deviled eggs that we got for the table, and I loved the elote and pimento served with tortilla chips (GF). Since our experience was so good, we brought a group of 12 in the next day for brunch. Our server was great, and I was impressed that all of our food orders came out at the same time. I ordered the Huevos rancheros, which was flavorful and quite filling. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the background music was low enough that we could converse without raising our voices. We definitely will come back when we're in the area again.

Good food, service and ambiance. Loved the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. We got mimosas, tried the cranberry mimosa for the first time and loved it. Also the lemon and ricotta pancakes (no pictures) were so zesty and so so so good! The service is great! We had a great time here! Highly Recommend this place for good food and drinks!

Went here with my cousin for brunch and it was so good! The whole place had a classy and chic feel that also made you feel cozy and relaxed. There is also an upscale-ish, rustic, and modern vibe that lends itself to a romantic date or a casual outing with friends. There is plenty of seating inside or out on the cozy patios for small intimate outings or large groups. The service is amazing and staff were all friendly. The presentation of the food was extremely appealing and the taste was outstanding. I ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer and the brunch burger for myself, while my cousin ordered the prime rib French dip. My dish was so delicious I ate it all before I got a picture and my cousin said his was delicious as well. I'm going to have to come back to try more of their plates as I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place.

My best friend and I, had brunch there today. It was wonderful. The manager sat us down- she was super nice and professional! It was our first time there. Our server was also very nice! I had the country breakfast and my friend had the chicken and waffles! We both left happy and satisfied! I also had a mimosa which was great as well and the prices are reasonable and the food was great! Definitely recommend! I'm glad we found this place, we are always looking for new places to try. read more

So delicious. Great service, great food, and awesome ambiance. Our waiter was very attentive and had a fun personality. I believe his name was Gabrielle. We ate dinner here a couple of days ago. The food and service was outstanding. Most of us in our party of five ordered the short ribs. They were flavorful, tender, and served with mashed potatoes. Everyone loved them. We would all order them again. I also had the tomato basil soup. It was a little thick for my liking, but the flavor was really good. Overall a good dining experience. We highly recommend and will definitely eat here again. read more

Wednesday night is 1/2 price bottle of wine night. We sat at the bar and enjoyed visiting with Jared while we had our dinner and wine. Since it was our first visit, he made some recommendations and they were spot on. We tried the Bleu Cheese Fondue, Fat Shady Burger, and the Brownie with ice cream. Everything thing was delicious! Went for our first time for Brunch today. Some of the best chicken biscuits we've had in Dallas. Avocado toast and hash were on point. Topped off a great brunch with some amazing cocktails as well. Great to have a delicious option right around the corner in the neighborhood. Will definitely be back. read more

Update: We've been back a couple times since the opening, and continue to enjoy this place very much. The food was very good at the beginning and has gotten better. Sauces have a bit more depth now, and dishes are consistent from visit to visit. Very enjoyable spot, great food and outstanding value. read more

A excellent experience! Went in without reservations on a Sat night, but they were able to get us into a table on the patio. The patio was great. Great atmosphere, classy and well done, but not pretentious or stuffy. We had James as a server who is one of the best, quick and efficient, but very personable. He personally made me a great gin drink and made my kids two excellent faux blackberry mojitos. The food was more than we expected. The steaks were as good as any of the high end steak houses in town and the short ribs were perfect. The sides the chef prepares with entrees are show stealers. The Brussel sprouts and peppers are phenomenal. Desserts are also great. The blue cheese fondue was very good, ask for extra bread when ordering though, it only comes with 3 pieces. Their portions are spot on. Enough to make a great presentation but just the right amount for a meal. The entree prices are about $25-$30 a plate but definitely worth it. Will definitely be back and look forward to going on a night when there is live music. read more

Great set up! We went with our kids and I always judge a place based off of that. The hostess walked all the way down to their other restaurant to get a highchair that had a working seatbelt. The waitresses were SO nice to the kids (they're loud and young!). The food was okay but we will 100% go back for the atmosphere and friendliness! Also, go even if it's raining - they have retractable sides that come down on the patio read more

If this place had been open a year I would give it 4 stars, but after 3 weeks I have to consider it as going through their shake out period. Excellent food, great cocktails and warm atmosphere. Service was a little slow but I have to chalk it up to being new. My wife had the chicken and it was great and I had the short ribs and it was excellent. Definitely going to come back. This is a great place with one of the best (if not the best) customer service I've encountered. Food was great and service is top notch. Overall, satisfied with our first time experience here. This may be a new favorite!!! The cocktails were AMAZING and the food absolutely delicious!!! I had the roasted chicken and my partner had the beef tenderloin. Both were cooked to perfection. The creme brulee cream corn was nothing like I've ever had before. That alone will keep me going back! There were so many other tasty options I am looking forward to trying! Highly recommend checking this spot out if you're looking for intimate fine dining that also won't break the wallet!!! read more

Chacuterie wasnt good. Steak and eggs wasnt terrible. Patio was okay but sat lopsided. Mimosa glass was served with pulp and liquid all over glass. Not greeted at door for few minutes. Prolly wont return. read more

What a great place. My partner and I have lived in Richardson many years. Always looking for a small, intimate place for great good and even better cocktails...hard to find in this area...found it now! Very well decorated with an awesome bar and patio. Drinks are on point. I tried the Sazerac and my partner had the blackberry lemon drop. Both were very well done. We had the blue cheese fondue and short rib. Both were very well prepared. Service was awesome without being rushed or intrusive. Apparently, a lot of these people worked at Whiskey Cake and it shows. Great concept. Will be back often...Kolby was a great server and is very prepared and professional. Get here... read more

Dined here tonight for first time and it was absolutely wonderful. Drove an hour to find an outdoor dining restaurant and we found this one on Yelp. Being COVID aware, we were completely comfortable dining on the patio. In front of the fireplace. Staff was very attentive and very friendly. Had the blackberry lemon drop to start and it was amazing. Dinner started with the calamari which was seasoned perfectly followed by the pork chop and mashed potatoes. Pork chop was perfect. Will definitely make the drive back. Highly recommend this establishment. read more

Found this gem tucked away in the Canyon Creek neighborhood of Richardson and they blew away my expectations. My wife and I created a tapas dinner from some of their appetizers and everything was delicious. For extra fun, go on Wednesday nights when they have 1/2 off bottles of wine! read more

Reserved a table for a birthday dinner ...reservations confirmed at 9am for an outside table due to Covid restrictions... when we arrived we told we would be seated inside... tables not spread out .... had to sit outside by a fire pit in the wind.... not a great birthday dinner! read more

We discovered Fifth Fireside Patio on Yelp because we were looking for a dog friendly patio and the pictures of the food looked appealing. So we decided to give it a try... let me get it right out there: it was the right decision! Food and service were exceptional. Theo made sure we understood the menu and beverage service and helped us find the perfect wine to compliment our dinner. The atmosphere is a cross between neighborhood hangout and friendly elegance. This was a perfect place for our gathering of ten. The food was good, a nice variety; the space out on the patio was well-placed for us to hear each other well and to laugh a lot without bothering others on the patio. The staff was excellent; their service for several different unusual needs was offered with warmth and cheer. I look forward to going back with 3 or 4 others to hang out on the patio for a pleasant, quiet evening. read more

Brunch was AWESOME. They have a cute patio, and absolutely amazing service. We had a party of about 18 people, and our server was super attentive and kind the whole time. Delicious pancakes and bacon; everyone else's meals came out amazing as well. Will definitely be back for more meals! read more

Service was wonderful but the corn chowder was too tart. Couldn't really distinguish the taste of the corn that looked like canned corn and the chowder itself was very "gooey" so the consistency was just off. The green beans are very good though! Wish they had more options for beverages and paper napkins. read more

Came here for the Easter brunch service. The honey chicken biscuits are amazing! Had a delicious salmon salad and my bf had the eggs benedict, everything came out in a timely manner. The service was great and the drinks were yummy. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area. read more

The. Best. Calamari. I'm not a huge calamari fan, but mm was this good! It had some sort of sweet chili sauce that was tangy and delicious. My husband and I made a reservation and came early on a Sunday for dinner and good thing we did! We didn't need the reservation, but the patio filled up quickly! We sat outside and enjoyed the environment and ambiance. The cocktail I ordered (The Ruby Rogue) was so amazing, I had 2 of them. My husband had short rib that fell right off the bone. The smoky flavor was phenomenal. I had red fish which was also delicious. Portion sizes are appropriate and we didn't have any left overs. The wait staff was friendly and the restaurant clean. Awesome place with delicious food! read more

I'm giving this three stars because nearly all the wines by the glass (if not all) are available at Tom Thumb or Target. Also, they don't list the winery or origin of the wine, only the name. Which is fine because they are all easily recognized. Food was good, but nothing special. It was Saturday and a little busy when we got there. We were told 1.5 hour wait so left and booked a table thru the online app for 45 min later. read more

We have a large selection of gluten friendly items. My personal favorite is the pan seared salmon, just ask them to leave off the verde sauce and everything else is celiac friendly in that dish. The flourless chocolate cake is so tasty as well!

They play music at an appropriate volume (this place is way less deafening than cidercade, and less crowded too!). I've never had food/ alcohol here so can't speak to that. It's definitely a great place to go, especially with a buddy, to get competitive and just unwind a little! My only complaint- the arrows in DDR are not very sensitive and tend to stick a little on their machines. It's very hard to adjust the initial difficulty level because the DOWN arrow on both sides of their machine is so not-receptive to touch you have to jump on it with intense force to move it from basic to more difficult. I'm actually pretty good at DDR and kept getting BOOS from arrows I was hitting. So just don't come here specifically for a DDR marathon and you won't be disappointed. I was thrilled when we were seated at a lovely patio table, which felt airy and quiet. However, just five minutes later, we were informed that we had been assigned the wrong table. They attempted to move us to a much smaller table that was uncomfortably close to a column and another party, situated in a dimly lit area. Frankly, our attic feels cozier than that space. Despite my husband's assurance that the food is good (he had previously dined there with coworkers), we chose not to stay. The experience left a sour taste, and I cannot overlook the poor customer service. I absolutely loved my brunch at The Fifth Fireside Patio/Bar! We sat in an upper booth, and it was so cozy and intimate, perfect for catching up and enjoying the meal. Our server was great and very accommodating, which really added to the experience. I had the standard breakfast, and everything was great, the eggs, breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit, and especially the candied bacon. Seriously, that bacon was unreal. Today I ate at the Fifth for the first time. It will also be my last time. The menu was extensive and expansive with seemed promising. I had the steak and eggs. The food came out hot but the service was lacking. Our waitress seemed to have more tables than she could handle. When i asked who the manager was I was directed to someone named Cheyenne who I had the impression was a hostess because she was there the entire time I was eating. All she did was seat people.
