TG Steakhouse was a pleasant surprise. Had I known about this restaurant when I lived closer to this side of town I would've dined here at least once a month. I love the layout of the inside. It's open concept so you can see the chef cooking the meat in the kitchen from the main dining room area. There's also a neat, well designed hand washing station in the hallway that leads to the restroom. Overall ambiance is good with sufficient seating, though on the smaller side. What's different about this restaurant is the variety of meat dishes they offer. I've eaten at plenty of Brazilian restaurants in the DFW metroplex, but never have I ever seen chicken hearts, brisket, beef ribs, ribeye, shrimp and so much more in the rotation. For the dinner to have been $55 with tax (& me ordering an espresso shot) for the high quality cuts I am super impressed and certainly recommend others to dine here vs the other more mainstream establishments that are always advertised. I also really enjoyed their salad/hot bar...though not the biggest, there was a nice selection of sides to choose from. All in all I really enjoyed the service & food here and definitely see myself returning soon. read more

My partner and I dined here for a birthday and we found the experience acceptable. The atmosphere was a little worse than we had expected, but we were here for the food. Speaking of which, it was alright. The meats were a little worse than other churrascarias I have been too, but still quite tasty. The service was below average as well. I feel like the rotation of the meat was strange as well, a number of items appeared at our table much more frequently than others and several items I had to ask the server to make sure it came to the table. Overall, the experience was acceptable but mundane. This restaurant is somewhat cheaper than other churrascarias, but I would rather go to the better places less often. read more

I was brought here by my partner for my birthday dinner this year, and wanted to say that while it wasn't bad, it fell short of expectations. We're regulars of EG Steak up in Plano/Frisco, and I found that a much more ideal experience. PROS: - Brazilian Lemonade was very good, I was left wanting for more - Shrimp was available as an option, which I find unique for a Brazilian steakhouse - I enjoyed the picanha and the garlic steak CONS: - The atmosphere of the place is simply less formal than desired for what you're paying. It feels a bit like your local Italian joint. Tables are close together, full light blasting, cheap tablecloths and incorrect labels on the stuff at the buffet - Most of the meat we got came to us lukewarm. I only got one piece of meat that was hot - Our service wasn't very great. We kept getting repeats of the same lower quality meats we didn't enjoy, kept getting repeatedly passed up by meats we did want despite our green table indicators and trying to get the guys' attention, and couldn't really get anyone to come to our table very often. - Some of the meats just weren't good. The chicken, for example, was salty and inedible. I also found the texture of the sirloin very, very tough. The lamb was relatively flavorless. - I don't know how much of this I can attribute to the restaurant themselves, but on a Friday night, this place was littered with kids and large families that weren't under control. Kids running around, listening to YouTube videos on full volume, etc literally right next to our table. - My partner noted that it was my birthday, having seen some of the reviews about this place making it a special occasion. It wasn't acknowledged, not even a "happy birthday" from any of the staff. Overall, for just $15 more per person and a half hour drive north, just go to EG by Stonebriar. Definitely a more elevated experience for the price point. read more

Had come many years back when it Blue Charcoal everything about this place has been upgraded not a huge salad bar but its nice you dont go for that salad anyway. Got up got some of the cheese puff bread none of them were hot but they looked like they were being brought ought fairly quickly got some Cesaer salad and then the protein started coming by. First time I had tried spicy picanya and I liked it more than the garlic picanya. All the meats were fantastic. Owner has put in a lot of money into the spot and it shows they do have a small bar area. The place is a small spot for Brazilian steak house but it works. Ended up paying about $115. Servers kept coming by and checking on the table and asking if we had special requests. If your in a date and dont wanna go yo one of the big Brazilian steak house chains Def hit this spot. Recently went here to celebrate my husband's birthday. We normally go to Texas de Brazil, but wanted to try something new. Felt bad because we left disappointed. My husband left unsatisfied and barely ate any meat. Meat was tough and lacked flavor. We normally go for medium rare and even that wasn't as tender. We stumbled upon this place after seeing an ad on Facebook and suggestion/reviews on Yelp. I always tend to take reviews with a grain of salt and make up my own mind after actually trying the food. It is in a rather secluded area; albeit a hidden gem! TG Steakhouse hit it out of the park! Upon entering, Mom and I immediately noticed the positive energy flowing through the intimate space. We were greeted promptly by Andre with a smile. He noted that we had an 11AM reservation and offered us a choice between a table more towards the front or towards the rear of the restaurant. He showed us to our table and he handed us our drink menus. We decided to order the Strawberry Capirinhas. He explained the process - beginning with the unlimited salad bar and the servers walking around with different cuts of meat. At the buffet, we were enticed by the array of offerings - most noteworthy were the chicken salad and potato salad. I had to stop myself from going back for seconds since we were already planning on enjoying the churrasco lunch. The Strawberry Capirinhas were smooth, refreshing, and fruity with just the right amount of intensity on the palate. It went well with the Pao de Quiejo(the Brazilian cheese bread) and the cuts of meat that came around throughout our dining experience. We tried Brazilian Sausage, Chicken Parmesan, Bottom Sirloin, Top Sirloin, Garlic Picanha, Spicy Picanha, and Spicy Garlic Beef. All EXCELLENT! All cuts were fork tender and literally melt-in-your-mouth. Don't forget the grilled pineapple! It is the best part of the experience! Hands down - BEST Brazilian Steakhouse in DFW. The food quality, quantity, and standards to which the establishment adheres is impressive. The service and the ambiance were both attentive without being intrusive. We were well taken care of and the staff made us feel welcome. I especially enjoyed our interactions with Andre, Eduardo, and Wander. I have been to Fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil in past years and don't recall the food being anything to write home about, but THIS PLACE? If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. For $24.90 per person, you can enjoy lunch. Very reasonable! Come hungry and pace yourself! You will want to save room for the Brazilian Coffee, Brazilian Flan(which is on the buffet line), and the NY Cheesecake Slice. The portions are just right. First visit to TG Steakhouse and we were pleasantly surprised. Our first impression was not a good one, the restaurant is located in a strip mall and it was empty when we showed up on a Friday afternoon. We were seated quickly and our drink orders were taken immediately. Drinks were good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The salad bar is limited vs other Brazilian steakhouses, but everything was fresh. We did enjoy the deviled eggs, which is not a common item at other restaurants. The only downside is all items are at the salad bar, they don't deliver anything to the table including the cheese bread. It seems like a simple thing to bring to the table as a courtesy. Dinner service was excellent. Service was top notch and we never waited for meats or served a meat not at the temperature we requested. The meats were seasoned well and they had various cuts of meats. The Picanha and beef ribs were the highlight, with the Parmesan chicken and lamb being my least favorite. We did order the crème brûlée for dessert and it was disappointing. The dessert was too plain, a couple of fruit toppings and whip cream would help the aesthetics. The dessert was also warm on the bottom, which is not the traditional temp to serve this dessert. Overall the experience was a good one for a local restaurant. I think if the price point was lower than it is I would give it another star. The price is only about $10 cheaper than the fancier Brazilian steakhouses around DFW. I would give it a shot if I am in the area, but if I am looking for the best overall experience I would head to EG Steakhouse instead. read more

The food was good however for what we paid I would suggest going to Fogo de Chao. You have a bigger variety of salad and sides. That being said it is good to support local businesses. In regards to the service it was exceptional! The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. As for the ambiance it was a bit too bright for my linking but my hubby loved the lighting. TG Steakhouse is a unique concept. I rarely eat red meat, but when I do, it has to be good. TGs did not disappoint. Every unlimited sampling of meat on a skewer was better than the previous one. The meat was lean and wonderfully seasoned. I highly recommend making it your only meal for the day so you can fully appreciate and save room for each savory bite! Having the card on the table that indicates you are done or just taking a break, is a nice touch and allowed the servers to avoid needless interruptions in the tables conversations. Just have an incredible dining experience at TG Steakhouse in Richardson. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the elegant atmosphere and attentive staff. The menu featured a wide variety of Steak, Chicken, Pork, Chicken liver, side salad bar etc. it's was cooked to perfection, juicy and packed with flavor. The service was impeccable, with staff making sure that every need was met. To top it off, the dessert pineapple with cinnamon flavor is a MUST try. This little gem is an amazing Brazilian Steakhouse with excellent service and exceptional food.
